With Birmingham not being promoted now
Would it be worth having a go for Redmond ? As he will be cheaper than had they come up surely ? And being stuck there for at least another year ? Would be a very good prospect and push Lennon ?

Believable7 Unbelievable4

While Redmond might not exactly be Spurs material right now, but, if the price was right, I'd take him(>10m). Maybe a loan if he's not ready for the big show.

Heard the deal for Jan is close. Good stuff, onto the second more important matters. Like a Forward who can carry his weight in goals like Bost, Lewandowski?, Doumbia, Huntelaar, Yilmaz, and Cekulajevs(maybe not lol). Stats are there for a reason. They produce. Honestly I'd be happy with anybody can put the ball in the net, we produce enough chances. Just like Baarca pre-Etoo, Arsenal Post-Henry/Pre-RVP, Portugal, Spain PRe-Villa, etc. Go SPurs

I would absolutely love to see doumbia
My wish list is

Start with cb
As we really should be letting go of nelsen and Gallas .... Keeping king * how can you all hate on him ? * he's still got another year even with bum knees
Leaving us
Kaboul .. Dawson .. King and brining in Jan verghonten ... Really that leaves us 2 CBS not prone to injury ... I would be inclined to put caulker on a short loan back to maybe swansea again with the option to make it full season if by january we still have a full contingent of fit cb's * providing Swansea agree to this all * as we don't want him not getting game time and halting what looks to be fantastic progress

Onto midfield

Left side bale shouldn't be sold simple... Lennon is ok but needs pushing
I would like to see 1 of these
hoilett , Redmond , Zaha
Yes it all well and good saying hazard but the fact is until we get a new stadium we cannot compete with the monstrously rich
Chelsea man city etc ....
If we get him great I won't be unhappy but I'm not holding out hope
I'm not sure on the development of any of our youth wingers Such as Townsend so maybe 2 of those three would be more prudent ....
The centre of the park we are pretty awesome can't see much else to add there
...
Strikers
As much as I love Defoe I see him going
Ade I don't see dropping wage demands
Therefore a no go ... Saha going
So three strikers
Or two if you want to include vdv
Huntelaar with the chances we make he would be better than a 20 + striker we have been longing for I don't see how he couldn't do 25 +
And doumbia who is fast strong and knows the back of the net well
And then we have the youth coming through who can take over giving a rest for some cup runs etc giving others a rest

And a keeper I shoulda started with as everything seems out of order now ...
I can honestly say I'm stumped .... Any suggestions ? I'd love a younger freidel
But time travel out the questions
I'd be inclined to say loris but it sounds like I'm just following recent press with that one he just looks like a good Keeper watched a few games and wouldn't mind Hom there
I keep forgetting to tag my posts
So for the first post and this

I totally agree, redmond and hoilett would be fantastic additions, we have money to be raised by the sale of pienar and niko.
love them both but neither play well for us!

as for the striker situation we need 2 big guys, as im sure harry kane is going to be used next season, to ease him in.

keeper i would like to see ben foster great keeper potentially, and with a season as brads understudy would learn so much.

i also believe that a left back would be another great addition baines would be most welcome.

Agree3 Disagree0

All good suggestions, although people should stop talking as if lloris is some ok keeper he is no.1 for France beating out other good keepers like mandanda and would probably cost over 20 million

Agree1 Disagree0

Foster in goal.

Caulker back at the Lane

Ledley to ONLY play cup games with Caulker. We all love Ledley but it's plain to see he's very slow now and is not good enough for the premiership.

Vertonghen IN

Baines IN (I love BAE personality and his drag backs do put a smile on my face every time but Baines is just better at LB, simple.

Huntalaar upfront and VDV

Also buy Zaha who I rate as a great prospect. or even Victor Moses or both as they are friends!

Jan Vertonghen is more or less confirmed, should be a Spurs player in the next few days. Adebayor, Hoilett and Damiao as well as Llloris to follow. COYS!

Do any of the eds know whether the january interest in milos krasic is likely to be followed up in the summer? {Ed002's Note - Juventus will be open to offers for Krasic and Joksimovic has been trying to get as many clubs as possible interested including Lazio, Liverpool and Spurs - and he has had success in gaining interest from Spurs. Lazio, Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, Sevilla, Zenit St Petersburg, Fenerbahce and Anzhi Makhachkala have a confirmed interest in the player although I suspect Dortmund will drop their interest. There is at least one very influential person at Chelsea who very much likes the player and wishes to revisit earlier interest. Krasic has declared his interest in Manchester United and it is not completely out of the question that they may be interested in him. Fenerbahce strike me as the most likely destination for him right now.}

Nani Set for a shock move to White Hart Lane for a fee of 29 million. He has fallen out with Ferguson and wants a quick get away! Source from the training ground!

Believable6 Unbelievable21

Not worth half of that, far too in-and-out a player for Utd but then again they rotate him whereas he'd get more game time with us. Good signing but not £29mill worth.

Someone has been smoking the wacky!

Oracle forgot to sign off by the look of it.
theres more chance of platting p*ss than Nani moving to Spurs.

Happy to take the abuse for my own articles, but a little harsh putting ill informed cowards posts against my legendary name. For the record I always give ED my email address and always sign off my posts.

The Oracle

Agree1 Disagree0

Also for the record, towards the end of the last transfer window you posted under a different name pretending to support 'the oracle' but where spotted and outed by the Ed's because of your IP address. So your not being entirely truthfull are you......

I wont be the only one to remember this episode, after all it had me laughing for days - and i bet a good few more of the other posters will remember it too and back me up.

Why do you do it to yourself oracle? Im sure deep down your a nice bloke (you are a fellow yod after all) and previously you've indecated just how long you've been a Spurs fan for - so we know that your not a silly little school boy. You must learn that people on here have long memories.

I hope you are right with some of your predictions, which I have said many times before -namely Diamio (spelling?). If your ramblings prove to be correct, I will be straight on here to congratulate you. Of that you have my word and many witnesses. But until then please just calm down, take a deep breath and think before posting your next chapter.
For example, feeling sorry for you in the past I have previously informed you that people might not be so quick to jump on the oracle bashing bandwagon if you where not so cocky and arrogant. Your 'Legendary' name is only legendary between your own ears my friend.

Flippit.
