Was just told that Real Madrid are trying to sign Kun Aguero. If he signs he will be their first choice striker, leaving the door open for Gonzalo Higuain or Benzema to leave. Thats the reason why the story came out in spain.

Azza
{Ed008's Note - Wow to be honest i can't see Aguero going to Atl Madrid's fiercest rivals but if you had a choice Azza who would you take Benzema or Higuain ?

Anything on Falcao or this boy Abel Hernandez? {Ed008's Note - Intrest on our side maybe a bid has been made behind doors that i can't confirm we'll know after the Copa America if we'll get Falcao. Hernandez 20 Year Old Uruguayan he's got potential not a clinical finisher as his record suggest i think he would be a good signing but not the player we need at the moment more of a future player.

Abel Hernandez? A little sign we are getting desperate. 2 goals in 22 appearances.

Azza
{Ed008's Note - No doubt this guy has potential i've watched him couple of times for palermo young striker it's not a sign of desperate maybe looking towards the future he's got quality no doubt about it he dont play week in week out thats why his goal tally aint the greatest with pastore and miccoli ahead of him.

Ed- do you think we could get Falcao if we make a move for him?
Also read we put in a bid for Abel Hernandez is he any good and the type of player we need?
{Ed008's Note - Release clause is 26 Million Pounds for Falcao porto won't sell any lower, also Arsenal are interested so if he were to leave it would be between us and Arsenal it's hard to say whether we could get him he's open to a move to the PL but at the same time he wants to stay at Porto mixed answers from him and his agent maybe after the Copa America this summer we'll know if he wants to come or not.

Does Harry or Levi do the wheeling and dealing for our new players?

I presume Harry has given Levy a wish list! ! and then he decides who to buy from that - only asking because I have just read about Harry asking Levy to bring in 3 quality players to improve our team?!

Kalrez
{Ed008's Note - He's a got a list like every manager does from Goalkeepers to Strikers with back up should the main target not become available.

Falcao said it would be a dream to play for a big club like Spurs.
we missed out on Suarez because we never offered the money they wanted and our stupid scouts said he wasn't good enough. Look how well he turned out.
We can't let Falcao slip away to Sh**y Arsenal.
Offer the money Harry, or negotiate with Napoli for Levezzi.
We need to sort this our quickly

The problem with that mate is that VDV never stays in one position! Harry has played him on the right a few times but he keeps drifting into the middle, to the left, to the front, back and anywhere else. VDV is best if he is allowed to roam and support the front man. If he is told to play in a "fixed" position he will move around anyway and, as did happen when he was played on the right, leave a gap for the opposition to exploit. Personally, we need one world class target man for him to play up front with. Im not sure why we are not making a big play for Drogba, the man is a genuine World class PROVEN target man, we can get him for much less than some of the players we have been linked with and, IMHO, he has the fitness of a player that can play at the highest level for a few more seasons yet. Buying an additional striker as his "apprentice" would then give us an alternative too. As for Bale, redknapp wants him to, eventually, drop back into the left back position but i think that would be a mistake. he is not a great defender is he? Far better to have him using his strengths in bombing forwards than to question his weaknesses in a defensive role, right? Danny Rose did brilliantly when he came in but he did get caught out a few times. I think a season on the bench, coming on for injuries etc would do him the World of good. Ive got to say, with what ive seen of him, potentially, he has the makings of a top, top class left back.

I can't disagree with anything you have said. You are definately right. VDV plays alot better behind the striker. I think we would see much more of VDV if he had a world class striker to partner. I actually said a while back on here that we should sign Lukaku and Drogba, that way the young man can learn off Didier and become a better player. Its definately worth it.
Again, i can't disagree, Bale defensively is not that good. Our left side looks extremely solid with Ekotto and Bale, i don't think we should change it, they have a good understanding together.

If Spurs are after a 20+striker then would it not be worth a punt on Falcao from Porto?

What cost Falcao - £20m tops, offset this by selling Keane for say £6-7m and you have then paid £13-£14m for a 25 year old stirker who has scored 41 goals in 50 games over the last 2 seasons including 17 goals in europe this year.

I'd say he's a better bet than Forlan or Fabiano.

Is it worth the punt? Agree or Disagree? {Ed008's Note - Falcao has a release clause of £26 Million and Porto would only accept that price also Arsenal has spoke to Porto about him and had bids rejected aswell well below the release clause. He looks a good player im not sure if Harry thinks £26 Million Pounds on a striker who's only had 2 good seasons is good enough. He's still a target and so is Cardozo of Benfica who i think is a better player than Falcao.

I would love to see Bale at left back bombing up those flanks like Danny Rose has been doing for us since Ekottos injury. That way we can stick VDV on the left and play with 2 world class strikers.

Just read in the sun that Kyle Walker is going on loan to QPR next season, Surely this can't be right????? he's probably our best right back!
Is there any truth in this ED?

Jamie
{Ed008's Note - I don't know but i heard QPR were after Kyle Naughton not Walker on loan.
