Haha, my apologies, i'm the blind-muppet, didn't see that said LiverFool so thought you'd got all menstrual for nothing, fair play. Anyway, good luck for the season, it will actually be very interesting to see if Rodgers can turn you lot around, personally I think he had success on Martinez's blueprint at Swansea so may take some time. As for us, AVB and no strikers, looks even worse.

So, Oracle, the club decided 2 years ago that they were going to sign Damiao and Adebayor in Summer 2012? Not last year, or the year before, but Summer 2012? Rubbish. Sure they have targets but nobody knows who's going to agree to what or who's going to come in at the last minute with a new bid - that's football!

I don't understand what you are trying to claim? If you were 'ITK' then they would have both signed the week after you predicted it, so obviously you're not 'ITK'. So what are you trying to claim? That you're MAGIC?

I don't know, but I do believe AVB and Levy had a plan to address he striker issue. Don't think AVB would have joins without one. Plans don't always work out though either for a multitude of reasons ..Damiao and Ade was highly likely the plan, wether they pull it of mains to be seen. But waiting until Brazil is finished in the Olympics would only be respectful if an player has been signed that was still competing in it.

It's worth remembering brasil play a friendly next wk also so it could b the Thursday/friday b4 first game b4 It's concluded.

After his performance at the olympics, i would be surprised if a bigger club than tottenham got him now, spurs should have acted before the olympics, like chelsea did with oscar..

The negativity of the majority on this site is a worryingly destructive energy. Damiao has been our primary transfer target for three windows. To be fair to Internnacional they were not prepared for Levy to steal their star player. Derisory previous offers were rebuffed and the Man City Adebayor deal was just too attractive. Levy has kept this warm and it was agreed Damiao would stay until this window.

If I am wrong you will lambast me, if I am right I was just lucky. You add no value of any note and simply ridicule, I recall loads of post telling me what a douche I was when Damiao was linked with other clubs. I recall the same when Internnacional expressed they would keep him. What Everett way you twist it your critic is biased and worthless.

One thing is certain is that Damiao and the Olympic stadium have been my stuck record for an eternity. I recall my first post about Damiao and half of you didn't even know who he was. When the Brazilian superstar links up with Adebayor very soon at least we will all be pleased. Then when the Olympic stadium takes a twisting turn our way perhaps then you might find some grace and admit that the douche here was actually you !!

The more I think about it I cant help but think if Moses goes to Chelsea then Sturridge will be going to Spurs.

Ra does not need to sell and if he did he would copy levy and demand over the odds which levy wont pay

I can't see us signing sturridge, don't want him either. I think he'l end up at lvpool or possibly the goons.

I agree, he's greedy! He'll score a blinder once in a blue moon and struts about like he's the pups nuts! I'd sooner see coulibaly come through and push for a place, Europa league football could see him getting a start! He's a lively lad....

Pssible going to Liverpool but I cant see him staying at Chelsea and whilst LFC need a striker Spurs need one more and there aint a lot of choie without spending big.

I would of liked him but after watching the Olympics I'm not so sure now seemed out of his depth all the time and would hate to have to rely on the that now

Why are people saying we need to sell Modric before buying, sorry that doesnt sit with me.. what about the money we got from keano, pav, crouch, palacios, Kranjcar, Corluka etc. pretty sure theres enough there to whack a load of cash down for a big signing..

We have now spent £18m on Vert and Sigurdsson but, before that in the past two years we've only spent £5m Parker, £8m VDV, £6m Sandro, £3.5m Pienaar (who has gone back for £1m more already) so I make you right with all those other sales, we're definitely well in the black on transfers over the past two years, plus Champs League money.

Suspect we have to clear out some salaries also to actually be able to pay some of the people we have been linked with the money they want to play for us.

Exactly could understand saying we had no money if we had broke the bank on a big signing but there are so many players we have sold and are yet to properly see big investment.

Yeah but if u build big training facilities and a big statium you need big players or it wont get filled. If Levys wanting more profit its pretty obvious he will need to buy big to be able to get profits. If he breaks the bank on one maybe two more people will come to see them

The money we had from previouse players whent in HARRYS back pocket mate..we havent got the funds that we(the supporters)where led to believe...so selling modric is key 2 our future transfers

Avb likes a front three with a big man in the middle. The big striker will be either Ade or leandro (if levy gets his act together). Bale on the left but I imagine avb would like to bring in another winger. Hulk would be the perfect candidate since he's quick strong, scores goals and is mates with avb. Fingers crossed we can sort wages and transfer fees out.
