are we getting jovetic? I think his a great player and we should be able to steal him from arsenal {Ed002's Note - Don't hold your breath.}
I think he's arsenal bound
Arsenal are great at getting caught in the hype of recent years. Santos, Squillaci, Bischoff, Silvestre, Eboue, Jeffers, Richard Wright, Fabianski, Chamakh, Choo young Park, Ramsey, Arshavin, Bendtner, Diaby and Gervinho are all really average at best. I would be over the moon if Giroud & Jelavic is the future of Arsenal striking options, in a word AVERAGE.
Jovetic not Jelavic, there's a significant difference
Classic oracle. Try to look smart. End up looking like a mug.
Could not agree more on the on the Oracle comment! but let's be honest he cannot be anymore of a laughing stock on this site, can he?
I just hope you naysayers will not be at Stamford Bridge tonight. People like you are the clubs biggest Achilles Heel, as you seek to throw stones from your glass houses.
The real fans like me will be at Stamford bridge helping our team gain glory, you pathetic armchair pundits will most probably be in your cheery bomb car, light flashing underneath with Spurs flag at full mast beeping your horns cruising Tottenham High Road when we win.
The only saving grace is most of you clearly only surf the Internet and talk nonsense whilst trolling and insulting others. Please don't get a Wonga loan and decide to get a last minute ticket from a tout, we really don't need you and you can stay in your chair infront of tv with your Super Strength Cider.
Oracle, I have no problems with you even if you do talk s**t. It actually amuses me.
Thing I want to talk about is this thought that going to every game makes you more of a fan? Do you believe that the way you choose to support your team is better than the next fans? Well that's as blind as thinking that a man believing in religion in a different way from the next man means that one is wrong, is it not?
I've been to many games in my time, almost every home game in a few seasons. Now I've had to relocate to Cornwall and its not financially viable to spend that sort of money to see my team. I don't feel any less passion for the team I've supported my whole life, but I can't go see them in person! So is my support all of a sudden negligible?
We all know you won't respond or if you do it'll be complete dribble that means nothing at all but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. If you agree with my post be gracious and admit it.
Many thanks
I totally disagree with you in every sense. Supporting your team is not creating division in the terraces, and consistenly supporting your team.
You used a religeous example and I think you'll find a devout Jew would regularly attend a synagogue, a Christian a church and a Muslim a mosque. Using your example you a like a Christian who goes to church on Easter Sunday to get a Cadbury's cream egg, or on Christmas Eve to listen to the carol service. You miss the point of being a fan just like those who ticked agree to your post.
Where you there for every game when we played in Europe, I thought as much. It was people like me that travelled hundreds of miles to support the team and literally cheer us to victory. Supporting spurs or any other team is not about buying a new home shirt every 4 years, and watching the game on tv and MOTD. It is about ensuring our stadium is full, and the cheering continues even when things are not going well.
I hope you rewind the game on your Sky HD+ box and listen to the fans in the background. They were the real fans, the steel of our club who sang for 90 minures even when we fell behind on 2 occassions. Do you think that we would have equalised twice had those same fans not been present. Those travelling fans consist of a large group of the same loyal people. The ones that travel to Sunderland away when you can't be bothered, the ones that go to WHL on a cold weekday when it is free to watch on TV. It is people like them and me that make this club the very essence of what we are. So please don't try to educate me on your warped view of being a fan, I doubt any of the loyal season ticket holders would even entertain you.
How very convenient that you live in Corwall, you'll be telling me you actually live at Lands End next, or perhaps in the middle of Bodmin Moor. This is not about individual bizzare situations, my point was generic. Doing your best to support the club is the key, and I can assure you that my point is most don't do very much apart from moan.
