Now that Paulinho a Spurs player, Qpr will be signing Scott Parker soon. I expect David Villa to sign soon as well.

Is anyone looking at remy we should go for him would b good as a striker or wide player in a front 3 {Ed002's Note - Remy may well move on this summer and QPR expected an enquiry from Spurs - that never happened. Inter see Remy as a cheap solution and have sought assistance from someone at Marseille to help persuade him to move from England, where he is apparently keen to stay. She tells me that any interest from other clubs, such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle at this time would seem to be no more than speculative with Newcastle making it clear that they will not be declaring any interest at €8M. This one could run all summer or he will need to return to mainland Europe.}

If the sly old fox Redknapp is involved, then expect Remy to come our way within the Parker deal. With Parker due to be 33 in October, I don't think this is actually a bad deal. Remy can play left right and centre, and hardly got the best support from midfield at QPR.
Come on Levy do Harry a favour and swap Parker for Remy, he will add some value coverage for Lennon, and who knows he might actually prove to be the played he was hyped up to be.

Remy ain't good enough for us.

Be hard to justify a fee for Remy while he has pending legal issues.

£7mill bid accepted for Danny rose {Ed008's Note - From who?

Oracle. Nobody has bid for Danny Rose

Maybe. sunderland!. Yidade

Hillarious that the word 'oracle' can be used to describe a poster

I don't think avb is willing to let Rose go after the fantastic season he has had with sunderland. He has made the abundantly clear.

More likely to accept a 7m bid for Benny

£7m for Rose is a great price, he is average at best, and Sunderland are mugs if they pay that price.
BAE is actually half decent, albeit getting older, but how everyone is ignoring our best LB is a mystery to me. Come on AVB give the brilliant talent of Zeki Fryers his Spurs, the kid is different class and already has the physical strength to compete. He is 21 years old in September, and has shown enough for me already.
Agree5
Disagree6
From what I hear Fryers has been a big disappointment, I doubt we'll be seeing anything of him near the first team next season
Agree5

And BAE is a liability regardless of his ability, simple-as.

Hey ED's, is there any truth to these Pjanic stories or is it just because Baldini connection? {Ed002's Note - Spurs are aware that he could be available at the right price - but that is very high. It is one for the "maybe" pile.}

Its bull, just rehashing an old link now Baldini has arrived. 2+2=4 doesn't it? Not according to supposed ITKs.

Ed, do you think we are going to leave most of the stuff until the last minute again? I have a feeling we are going to fall further behind the gunners now with their investments starting to come in.

Maybe, just maybe {Ed008's Note - I think Milan are gonna take up the extra year loan of him or he may be sold decent player.

Ed can you help, on the forward situation is it we are simply looking at Villa + Benteke. I personally think £25m is a good investment. Because I do get slightly peeved at listening to us being linked with everyone from here to Timbuktu. {Ed002's Note - The club has also shown interest in the likes of Damiao, Negredo and Soldado, but there is a clear focus right now on Benteke. Expect a long summer.}

Benteke has a lot of potential, but think soldaldo is the best player of the options mentioned. shame about his age though
Agree4
Disagree1
Benteke after 1 season is unproven and therefore riskier, though the upside is great. Soldado is proven, scores goals but the upside is not so great or long, though the reward could be instant. As it could be for Benteke, this is an interesting debate as to which way any club should go. Especailly one so close to being able to compete for trophies. My senses tell me to go for Soldado and Villa and play to win now. Build the future on hopefully a successful and financially sound foundation.
Agree2
Disagree2
Benteke better than all you have mentioned. He's an absolute great all round player, he has everything a top striker needs in his game. Unfortunately he will not go to you spuds, he will stay at the villa as he is happy there. Then move to a big club from there. He is too good for you now and the only hype about him moving only comes from the London press. Also IMO after building last year and this villa with in 2 years will finish above you again with what Lambert is doing. and good luck to you spurs next season.

Villa challenging for champions league within 2 years!.

As we sold Milner for £30m, what is the chances we'll sell you Benteke for £20m?
Agree0
Disagree0
Most of us believe we'll be top 6/7 within 2 years not top 4. I'll be honest - we are not in a rush to sell Benteke nor do we need to sell him if his price will just rise another £5-15m within a year?
IF we sold Milner for £30m, what is the chances we'll sell you Benteke for £20m?
Agree2
Disagree1
Depends on the players attitude. if he wants to leave and starts disrupting the dressing room, then the price becomes more negotiable.

You came 15th last year, we were 10 places ahead of you. Seriously get real. I understand getting behind your team and having faith but there a good few years before you'll be in top 8 let alone top 4. Even saints are a better side than you and are only going to get better this year. Seriously think about what you are saying
