seems the tv are reporting the damaio was on until late evening on the last day of the window when his club had a change of heart.

Good as it would seem he doesn't want to leave Brazil and Spurs certainly wouldn't be his first choice! let's search no further than europe for our man and inter can keep the highly over rated and expensive Damaio!

I have already confirmed I would not mention the link again. I was wrong and that is that, and to be honest I really hope that he doesn't come now. He has demonstrated a lack of ambition to play for our great club, and he had the power to orchestrate the deal if really valued Spurs. As it is I hope his current dip in form continues and he becomes the next Emile Heskey of Brazilian football.
Whilst I linked him I have never said he was the player we actually needed. Infact I wrote an article which expressed that Defoe and Adebayor had better strike and assist rates in a much better league.
What we need is to qualify for Champions League and then bring in Falcao and Hulk (Tongue in cheek).
