German TV Channel Sat 1 says Spurs have bid for Marin & Podolski and will get both.

Heard this also. Go get Demaio. Swap Bassong for Cahill + cash. Get rid of Crouch and Hutton and we'llnot be too far away.

These are not out of our league. They play for mediocre German clubs, one of whom we put to the sword with ease last year and the other weren't even in Europe.

I'm not saying we'll get them, but they're not out of our league...

Other than the obvious Parker and Cahill rumours apparently we are trying for Huntelaar (i no its been mentioned), and hopefully M'Vila

Just heard a rumour we are in for a younger diarra currently in the french national team so i guess its him, but as we are only hearing it now i would say it would be too late also maybe pjanic (i just get this from a friend on a certain forum who has told me that this info has come from a very trustworthy person). I am guessing that pjanic would be a replacement for modders or VDV is out for a while

Just a rumour I've heard. Spurs have had a £12m bid for Meireles rejected. {Ed008's Note - No Truth.

I'm a way I wish that was true, would mean levy/Redknapp have recognised him as a target, which would be great.

That is all. Cahill for around 10-12 million, Scott Parker for 6 million, Bryan Ruiz for 12 million and Huntelaar for around 10 million. Modric will go to Chelsea for 35 million. Not sure if one of their players is coming to us though. Hutton will leave to Villa, Palacios to Stoke, Bassong to Blackburn and Bentley will out on loan.

I'm tired of people presuming that Levy is doing nothing. Football transfers are not as easy as on a computer game there are plenty of factors that make transfers take longer than the fans would like. He obviously is trying to bring in players and with Parker expected to join later today is proof of this. Also we have a large squad and so need to sell players to bring in others, but sadly our players that we want to sell, nobody wants. In an ideal world players like Gio, Betley and Hutton would have gone weeks ago and we would have strengthened the squad with world class players such as Ribery, Robben and Rossi, but this isn't an ideal world and things aren't black and white. Wait until September 1st to moan about Levy/Harry. It's not unreasonable to think that by tomorrow night Parker, Cahill and a striker (Possibly Huntelaar) could all have joined

Agreed there panic spending but hey we need players so shouldnt we?? i mean come on i know transfers take a long time but lets cash in on modders and get the wallet out. we could easily sign 4 maybe 5 players with money from modric, palacios and who every else goes by the sounds of things crouch and dos santos( of which im gutted about i like dos santos) but i think cash in on mod and buy cahill, ruiz, bellamy, johnson and 1 other not including parker which is done. or even if we dont get bellamy and johnson one class siging personally i would like a new right winger.

Think wenger knows he has to buy but still prefer foreign players to english. Cahill is top quality potential metersaker is slow and has poor distribution but can read game well. but i think if we get cahill he will be a better signing. need prem proven players who can hit ground running. wengers foreign legion will take time to adjust. parker and cahill will help us become more of a force than wengers. Look at chamahk and arsharvin and how they have failed.

Huntelar is a good finisher alright but his overall game is awful can't hold up ball or pass so don't know how I feel about it better than crouch & pav alright but nowhere near as good negredo who scored twice wkend and has an alround game , I'm still expecting Abel hernandez to sign {Ed008's Note - Are you silly ? He is a much better player than Crouch and Pav even put together his goal ratio is amazing even for Real Madrid he scores goals that's what we need. Abel is not good enough yet need's to improve a lot more.

Ed what is the price they looking for?? ive heard this only a rumour that spurs want any where from 8mill upto 11mill he is supposedly on 60k a wk and will be 31 in jan and he is not exactly a prolific goal scorer is dl/hr overpricing some of the wood surely better to get shot now {Ed008's Note - Reasonable price would be 7-10 Spurs are asking for more than 10 to make a profit probably why Stoke pulled out of a deal.

Second last day of the window and Hargreaves is having medical at city, cole on his way to Lille, and diarra could be ac Milan bound. We don't seem to be moving mountains for players at the minute and panic buying on the last day will be a nightmare.
