Hey eds,
I completely understand levy and think de boer should be the next manager of our club

However, one thing is still unanswered, has the Italian media
made up our apparent interest in massimo allegri (excuse spelling) the two stories seem to contradict each other. I.e. he is one step away from signing for the club. Is this true or am I naive in believing the media?

Thanks, also I came in shocked to find we're selling paulinho to Chelsea, surely this is equally as inaccurate.

Hi Ed, after reading the Metro, they state deal with Chelsea already done! Not sure where he would fit in there but not sure he fits in with us, slows the game to much!

David Moyes is a target as well as Malky Mackay

Haha brilliant reply Ed!

Ha, thank god that is sarcasm.

Look guys how can you keep defending levy the guy is a failure
We have just been humiliated by west ham AGAIN. The buck stops at the top. We need on online campaign to have him sacked. Feel like not renewing ST really had enough of this garbage

A major clear out is needed, I heard about a sort of swap deal, Townsend for lallana, but lacks credibility, naughton, rose, kaboul and Dawson are just not good enough. Defense would be my priority. Keep soldado sell ade and develop Kane into a good player, and buy lukaku from Chelsea and Martinez from Porto. Then sell sigurdson and get back holtby, if someone has any alternatives please tell me.

Major overhaul won't help matters at all. Look what happened after spending £100m.

The quality of the squad is not the problem; the team is lacking tactical organisation and commitment. Both can be sorted with the right manager.

Unfortunately, I can see Lloris, Vertonghen and Paulinho leaving this summer. Replacements will be needed for these players.
If the manager is De Boer next season, then I think some good and realistic targets/swaps:

Lloris >?
Vertonghen > Alderweireld
Paulinho > Blind/Defour
Adebayor > Benteke

Maybe see Caulker come back into the squad too. Am confident with the right tactical management and solid committed players at the core of the team (Caulker, Sandro, Dembele, Eriksen) the team can do some damage next year.

The team clearly needs some changes, sadly the players most likely to leave are Verts and LLoris who I would image have some big money offers heading in their direction.

The prospect of rebuilding the entire defense and expecting it too gel quickly is not exactly what I want to witness next year after this seasons misfiring.

Spurs redeemer, you want to keep Soldado, totally agree, buy Lukaka and Martinez, would be nice, and then you drop a bombshell, develop Harry Kane! Two things, if we had 3 top class forwards he wouldn't stay, and he isn't good enough . He isn't a bad player but how many teams with top ambitions would be knocking at the door to sign him, not many!

Eds, is there any chance we could filter out any comments from 'Davo' where he uses the word "Kane", is getting a bit tiresome now.

Trouble is Hass, truth always hurts! Still the season is almost over, Daniel is going to bring in a new manager and one, maybe two new forwards, and the un name able will be back to being a squad player, and I won't have to mention his name again!

Davo I understand your opinion but let me ask you this question: who expected raheem sterling or even Jordan Henderson to be first team regulars this year and off to Brazil? "Anonymous" is unquestionably passionate about our club and a good manager can develop youngsters. You never know bentaleb could be the next Modric, although that's a bombshell even I can't drop! Southampton have thrived from developing their youth, and the best thing is, it's fairly cheap.

Ha, Perhaps.
However, that new manager may possibly be Pochettino, and the aforementioned manager did express an interesting in signing both Kane and Townsend for Southampton, earlier in the season. This may very well be pure conjecture (please correct me if I am wrong Eds) but nevertheless his and De Boer's development of young, homegrown talent at Southampton and Ajax, respectively, indicates that you may very well be seeing more of Kane in the future.

The thing is Sterling is and always has been in my view, a bloody good player . Don't rate Henderson, can't believe he will be on the plane to brazil either! I haven't said that Kane isn't a good player, he isn't good enough! No one answers my question about what top team would queue up to buy him either . let's face it, he gets picked by TS because he likes that kind of player and he has watched him grow . Also TS is trying to prove a point to everyone that he knows best . He tried it with Bentaleb, and was proved wrong . Yes he is young and could progress, but then so is Lukaku . Will the fans sit back and back Levy if he says ' I am happy with our strikers, no one else is needed as we have Ade, Soldado and young Harry Kane as back up ', would they ever . Why don't the Eds run a poll to see how many would back Kane as a first choice striker for us next year? The right result there would shut me up! Also, it would be interesting to know if Lloris kicks the long ball so often now rather than play it out, because as TS
says, we have an old fashioned English CF now!
