Christian Astu and Leandro Damiao will be Spurs players by the end of the transfer market. Any other signings will be an add-on. Luke Shaw of Southampton is being looked at as a possible replacement for BAE. Bale will be going no where as Levy and AVB see him instrumental for the future. Townsend will be used a lot more next season.

spurs to sign celtic midfield superstar victor wanyama for fee of 18 million in the summer on a 5 year deal
18 million? Are you high? He's average at best
He's better than average or at least he certainly will be. Excellent player for the right money. Whether that's £18 million I don't know but at the right price he is more than worth a shout he's young quick, strong, speaks the language can score goals and when you compare that to some of the dross knocking about he'll be a player for sure. Tom J
Wanyama is one of these young players still to prove himself, he plays in a very average Celtic team, but with a little bit of guidance, you never know, possibly another seat warmer,
Geom/
Lol a good seat warmwr are you daft he's 1 of the best young players in the world and is better than most of our midfield he'd walk into sqaud you twit barcelona man u man city everton and arsenal are interested in him
Have you seen him, week in week out, I would say no, his displays are sporadic, he is not spurs class,
geom
Wanyaman is a good player. Anyone who says otherwise is blind. I'm not saying he is great or worldclass but I would deffinately like him at Spurs.
He is fast, athletic and strong. He could be the next, Essien esq, player in the Prem.
Being surrounded by and average Celtic team and below par opponents does make him look better but he has been outstanding in the champions league games against big teams. good enough to at least show he can step up in big games.
£18 mill is high, not sure Levy would take that risk but if we could get him for £12-£15 mill, I think he could form a great midfield with Dembele, Sandro and Wanyama. Now that is a beast of a midfield.
Naz
Wanyama - seat warmer? Come again? He's been targeted by Arsenal and Utd along with others, and is brilliant at his role. Imagine his capabilities and strength he would bring to the team. He's young and can also play CB if needed, has proved his worth in CL but after all I guess you're right. seat warmer at best. #clueless

Alan Brazil on a web site radio just said he has heard Andy Carrol is going to Spurs.
Benchwarmer
This is the same Alan Brazil who said "Sir Alex Ferguson is United, cut him and he bleeds red!'
The same Alan Brazil who called Paulo Di Canio one picnic short of a hamper.
The same Alan Brazil who once asked listeners on a web site "Levante have gone fourth in Serie A. If anyone can tell me what part of Italy Levante is in, please call. I've no idea"
He said Chelsea have to play Sunday night - the FA won't bulge"
He said John Cross was feeling very boyish about Arsenal.
I wouldn't take everything Alan Brazil says too literally. He probably heard on the grape vine that Spurs were planning to sing a Carol next Christmas, maybe play Tom Carroll a little more, or perhaps invite Carol Vordenan to a football match. Getting half the point he put 2 + 2 together and got 36.
Is this the brazil who said spurs were in for damaio year after year
do you get my point orac;le

Bloody hell Oracle, I only posted information regarding what I heard. The clue is in the title. Spurs Rumours.
Don't apologise to the Thrush, he is the true fantasist!
This actually wouldn't surprise me.

With Gotze joining Bayern, Kroos might be available for 10-15M? What do you guys think? Possible? Player we could use, especially if we don't get eriksen or moutinho?
Royal Yod {Ed002's Note - Kroos is not one of the players expected to be leaving Bayern Munich this summer.}

Ed, any truth to the rumours that Spurs have enquired about Stuart Armstrong? {Ed002's Note - I don't know, sorry.}
