can anyone seriously think levy will pay 10 million for 31 year old david villa?:

I think he just might. After last 2 seasons finishes, he may realise that a player that almost guarantees 20 goals a season, may just move us forward in the next 2 years and we may reap the benefits in years to come. Just my opinion though.

10 is pretty cheap for a well known striker these days,,,, but with better scouting.

Yes why not new manager new targets, he's worth 10 million and has at least 3 years left in him and is classy

This is what I thought until I heard it could be £8M plus add ons which sounds more feasible although abit toppy for a 31 year old.

I think villa is a guess from the press and it will turn out to be a surprise signing like Alex song or one of their youth players.
I'm absolutely NOT in the know

Massive rumour going around is villa on loan for a season. He has one year left on his deal so at end of loan we either give him a contract or he is a free agent, which is what he wants.
This definitely sounds like a levy deal.

We NEED this signing to happen quick. I know he's 31 but he will have a massive impact on the club (bigger than what vdv had)and has a lot of goals in him. 10mill is a bargain in my eyes. ok not much sell-on value but he will help a lot towards a champs lgu place. Dapz

I think it's a bigger gamble than VDV with age and injuries but if he made a bigger impact. wow, yes please!

Think I will wait until I see the player (s) in an official Spurs photo or on the website.
Villa is 31 (32 in December) how long will he last with the pace of the EPL?

Yet again media getting involved, spurs need the the Manchester United effect don't talk about it see someone and buy them early doors! i'm a massive spurs fan but the only one that could get deals done late on transfer day was 'arry! let's get the deals done asap and start rebuilding now and sell the dead wood! The Sun. There's the answer.

Possibly David Villa is the most likely, bit in the dark with what's going on with damaio. If we signed both guess adebayor could be sold on perhaps if a good offer come in

Suzi 22 from Great Yarmouth on page 3 mentions nothing of the sort she's more concerned with the news that George Michael being released from hospital does it make our roads and public toilets a no go area

Internacional President has claimed that Damiao would have been a Spurs player in January as fee was agreed between the clubs, but on transfer deadline day Spurs/Levy changed the payment terms (I'm assuming this means longer to payback with less up front than previously agreed), so Damiao's club pulled out.

Sounds totally Levy-esque

Ed what do you think about Jackson Martinez, any chance we could get him a bit of a gamble with the price tag but from what I've seen of him he looks good and scores loads of goals {Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so.}
