Tevez to Tottenham.

Azza

Believable5 Unbelievable8

Any source, merely speculation/hope, 100% guaranteed, we've made an offer, what?

Agree2 Disagree4

Yeah the source is talkingoutyourrec.com

Agree5 Disagree2

Tottenham would not sign stropy tevez coz he wants to move nearer argentina, manchester to london is hardly going far, plus spurs never seem to spend big!

Believable2 Unbelievable11

We wont ever subsidise a loan wage, levy to smart, unlike citeh, anyway, pinaar is likely to be heading to qpr with bassong.

Agree6 Disagree0

Pienaar will stay - mark these words...

Eden Hazard has just told French tv Canal+ that he is 'leaning towards england' and he wants to play 'for a top club that plays good football' . It must be Tottenham, we are the only team that meets his wants! lol.
Go on Levy i dare you.

spurs guvnor

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Can we dare dream of the dream double signing? hazard and damiao!

Agree3 Disagree4

Hazard plays left wing. why is everybody obsessed with him,, we have Bale. I don't get it I'm not saying he's not quality, I'm saying we are the only team in the premier league that don't need him,

Agree2 Disagree5

Damiao on his way,24m.we have players being sold now.monday will reveal all!!!
YIPPEE!!!

Believable8 Unbelievable10

We can only hope

Agree7 Disagree0

It's monday........

Agree5 Disagree2

I will have a bet with anyone who thinks we will complete the singing of him today.
Not a chance

Agree5 Disagree2

Well mate! Its Monday and no Damiao!!

Agree3 Disagree0

He is not going to sign for us today, tomorrow or in the summer!
We missed the chance last year to get him.

Agree1 Disagree1

Name a brallian striker that has lit up the premiership?

Agree1 Disagree2

Brallian? yeah its monday!! but monday isnt over chummy boy!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Cant think of any brazillian strikers that have played in the prem?
anyway, previous players have no relevance on every future player that may arrive from a particular country. Thats just like saying how many british goalkeepers have been a success in spain! And i can think of a number of great british keepers since the prem began!

Agree2 Disagree0

It will be Tuesday tomorrow and he still will not be here ....Chummy Boy (new one on me) so i am just going with fantasy boy , sleep well champ!

Agree0 Disagree2

As i said chummy, this transfer will happen, you sound like a right cheerful bloke! lighten up fella, anybody would think you dont want it to happen.Dont tell me,you live alone, and trainspotting is your hobby?
Go to bed chummy with the usual film you use.

Agree1 Disagree0

Jo of Man city
Alves of boro
Baptists of The scum

These are the only 3 strikers to my knowledge who are brazilian. They came with massive hipe, and a transfer fee to go with it. They all failed to impress. I'm willing to go as far as saying the only outstanding brazilan players that have played in the prem are juninio and Emerson of boro. Possibly gilberto of scum.

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet you like fantasy boys dont you chummy boy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Emerson, juninioh and gilberto were midfielders, get your facts right chummy

Agree0 Disagree0

If you actually bothered to read my reply you would of see that I didn't refer to them 3 you named as strikers. My point is there has never been an outstanding Brazilian striker in the prem. You will prolly tell me that there has never been an English striker prove themselves in Spain. Theres a reason for that, and it's the same reason Damiao won't work.

Agree0 Disagree1

The poster who keeps calling persons chummy boy is the new thrush - welcome aboard you muppet!

As redknapp has not been spotted at any games so far today, could he be on his way to rennes to watch remy for the 2nd time!.... maybe marseille have met an asking price with spurs?? lets hope we get damiao! would be a perfect striker for us..... exactly what we need!

Hi ED
Lot of talk on here about Damiao just wondering if you've heard anything? {Ed001's Note - nothing either way, I can't confirm or deny it, though it does seem unlikely. Spurs tried to get a deal done a while back, it fell through, unlikely to be revived now I would have thought.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I posted this info on 26/01. I am afraid to say the Oracle is right this time, although the meeting has already taken place Damiao to be announced Monday. Should have been Friday but work permit issues posed a problem. ie was it needed.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Is that why ade was so awful on friday cus he aint getting his contract at the end of the season... COys

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it would be needed, every non EU player needs a work permit!
Mo

Agree3 Disagree0

I don't know about done, but I do know we have continued to try and tie up a deal, I think Internacional were hoping bigger offers might materialise, now with time ticking away they maybe feel they need to tie up a deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Mo, they may need one, they may not need one and it can depend on international appearances. Not as clear cut as you may think it is. {Ed002's Note - He needs a work permit regardless.}

Agree0 Disagree4

I have been watching internet footage of Damaio since last summer when we showed initial interest. PERFECT FOR US!
Nobody wants to see him play in a spurs shirt as much as me!; but I don't think a deal will be done now this window.
Preying we do it in the summer before we are priced out.

Agree3 Disagree1

What no one on here has mentioned yet is that it has to be done now, NOT in the summer as the season in South America runs May to December. Right now is Inters close season which obviously means our European summer break falls directly in thier mid season. Like most clubs around the world, they do not want to lose there star players mid season and if it seems that they are going to, the price goes up accordingly. This is why they put the price up from the original £14m to £24m last time we came calling - it was there mid season window. My guess is that the price will now be alot less than the previously quoted £24m.

I believe this is also why the oracle posted recently that the price will surprise many and why I replied with how interesting this is (ref pricing in mid and close season). I will not slag off the oracle before it is done for who knows - when the window "slams shut", I want the oracle to be correct and humble pie isnt my favioute dish.

Flippit.

Agree1 Disagree0

He will need a permit as he is not a tourist. Work with permits all the time

Agree1 Disagree0

Just wondering with this permit buisness ... What would happen ie it would take us well past the trasnfer deadline day for him to have one secured .... So would it be * if
This even happens at all * that we bid if it gets accepted the transfer goes through before the deadline day ... And of it fails ... What would happen would it be he'd not be able to play or move back to inter till the summer ? Or is there a way around that in the transfer market were if it failed the transfer would be void * regardless of window open or not * and be transferred back to the origin club ....

Agree0 Disagree0

Are Everton the only club with a limited budget? No! There are planty of clubs with a small budget, Swansea, Norwich, Fulham to name 3. These clubs play good positive football and nobody mentions the lack of money. For years Everton have lacked goals but Moyes buys more defenders and midfielders, he plays defenders in midfield and midfielders up front. A lack of cash is no excuse for boring football!
Mo

Agree1 Disagree0

My bad, responded to the wrong debate!
Mo

Agree0 Disagree0

I was wondering Mo !!

With redknapps problems and age I think moyes wuld be a great replacement. would like to see what he can do with money.
I dont think harry should leave defo not i think he should be director of football as he unlike moyes is a great mnan manager and wont create an uproar amonghst the players

COYS

Believable0 Unbelievable10

Sorry but Moyes is not good enough for Spurs , good manager yes but not for us . Not attack minded enough , not enough tactical ideas .
Davo

Agree10 Disagree2

Totally agree with Davo, negative football? No thanks!
Mo

Agree3 Disagree1

Would he need to be negative at Spurs? At Everton I think he cuts his cloth accordingly. Anyway, if Harry gets convicted (not banged up!) would the FA employ him? So we wouldnt need a new manager with luck...

Agree1 Disagree0

People don't give Moyes the credit he deserves - despite working on a shoestring budget he manages to unearth players that are not on most clubs' radar - Fellaini, Cahill, Pienaar...and he gets his players playing like a team - and above the all look committed. Negative football? Try Jose Mourinho - a modern day George Graham. Apart from Harry I'm not sure who there is who likes to play the Tottenham way

Leandro Damiao has a flight booked to London to complete his transfer from Internacional. Not only will he be joining the club, but the transfer fee will make you all realise just how fantastic we really are.

I just wished that I could see Adebayor return to City in a compromise deal with Tevez coming the other way which would actually suit Man City as well. I doubt that we will be able to broker such a deal but believe me when I say this is not a pipe dream. Just imagine Damiao & Tevex tearing up the Premiership.

Damiao, Adebayor and Defoe with Van Der Vaart make our attacking options exciting. Vertonghen is also still possible but I fear the mass of interest will price this deal out of our price parameters.

So assume we just sign Damiao only, are you all happy or has expectation reached a level outside our reach ?

The Oracle

Believable13 Unbelievable6

How do you know he has a flight booked? Are you his travel agent? Lets face it, no one knows a jot about whats going on, least of all some bloke on this site (and from what he's said in his court case, I doubt even if Harry has a clue whats going on either)

Lets all just wait till Tuesday night and revel in tha fact that we probably wont sign anyone, may sell a couple of fringe players to free up some of the younger talent to break through, and finish the season above the Arsenal!

Agree10 Disagree1

If this is true that is amazing but time will tell

Agree1 Disagree5

Fair play, you don't give up easy.

Agree3 Disagree1

Oracle, is it not that case that you have read this mornings papers and thought you will post something regarding what you have read? Like the previous messges saying we would be singing Cahill? When that never happened you went on the missing list!!

Agree3 Disagree2

Why do you do it? honestly mate, these guys are going to rip you to pieces......again. you come out with the most stupid outbursts, flight booked?? it wont happen, stop informing us of your hopes and dreams!! i felt a bit sorry for you the last time they ribbed you, not anymore dude.

rufus

Agree3 Disagree2

Oracle could you be getting confused with football manager and real life, I'm sure there is a condition for it. O yeah it's called being a deluded 12 year old.

Agree3 Disagree3

If we want hiim we gotta pay 20 mil

Agree0 Disagree3

Given the oracles recent record - which he came on here and held his hands up too by the way - I think that to be this confident he is either :
1. A complete nutcase
2. A glutton for punishment or
3. Someone with genuine information who was just unlucky last time.
I must say that the extra bit "transfer fee will make you all see just how fantastic we really are" is an interesting addition.

Either way, we will see inside the next few days. Until then, I for one still hope that the oracle is right on at least one of his predictions.

Flippit.

Agree6 Disagree2

Transfer fee is £24m

Agree0 Disagree3

Has Oracle ever predicted something correct?

Agree1 Disagree3

24million 4 sunday papers quoted that price so that is where it came from is all rubbish we will not sign any1 this transfer window and in the summer say bye to our star players and manager.... back to average fighting for the place in the europa 2bob cup

Agree1 Disagree4

I don't understand this forum! We are all on here because we want something to happen! Nothing on here is fact! We look everyday in the hope of getting excited and that's it! Whether we do or we don't we are all spurs fans who want our club to do well so let's just be realistic. Leave 'the oracle' alone because I for 1 enjoy his posts! As for the bloke who said we will sell all our stars go back to the arsenal page.

Agree5 Disagree2

Yes she told keanu reeves he was the one

Agree1 Disagree0

She actually told him he wasnt, so she turned out to be wrong there as well!

Agree1 Disagree0

Oracle has never predicted anything that is correct! I thought he said he would never post again? Damiao is not signing for us FACT!

Agree1 Disagree2

If its a FACT what is your source? How do you know he is not signing?

Agree0 Disagree2

The oracle only tells you what you need to hear

Agree1 Disagree2

Well to be honest I have heard a lot of cruel things being said about this Oracle bloke, but I have read these posts for months and he has predicted many thing that were right to be fair to the guy.

He was told us Adebayor was 'Guaranteed' and that we would sign Parker well before the press articles linking them. He told us about the Olympic stadium and then when it was awarded to West Ham so many of you destroyed him, and still he was absolutely certain of a reversal which happened. I know the stadium still looks a long shot but it is still a viable option.

The latest rumours he gave months ago regarding Damiao and Cahill, and I read all the press articles and he was prior to all of them. Cahill was his only blip but what do we know about the deal, clearly there was some b****cks right up until he signed for Chelski.

Damiao does look unlikely but if this comes off I for one believe he has a lot more info that most of those throwing stones.

So why not leave him alone and give him a break, he has slaughtered the Arsenal fans on here and on there site and is clearly a top Spurs fan.

I hope you are right Oracle / Ceefax whatever they call you, and I will enjoy your response if you happen to get this one right.

Yours gratefully
Timothy Barnes {Ed007's Note - You would agree Timothy. Seeing that you are Ceefax you plank!! You do know we see and can track your IP number don't you? You and your multi personality posts, along with the fact that you are a bit of a knob is really getting on our wick mate. Sort yourself out or you could find yourself having some more time on your hands to continue eating your crayons.}

Agree4 Disagree2

Ed you have just made my day! I have said for ages he has a split personality and they only people agreeing with him is himself.He has NEVER predicted anything correct! I really hope he never ever reply's on here again! {Ed001's Note - the guy is a proven liar, nothing has been posted by him prior to being posted in the newspapers.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Lol....made my day ed. what a moby.

rufus

Agree1 Disagree0

I think i have tracked Timothy Barnes/Oracle down on Linkden.Think the photo says it all....

Agree0 Disagree0

Now that's funny..... and disturbing at the same time.

Agree0 Disagree0

And after so much talk (on this site) in the last few days about what is an IP address! I know i said that i wouldn't take the piss, but this is so funny.

Oracle you plank !!

Flippit.

ps. still hope your right about Damiao though......

Does anyone know where redknapp is flying out to today?
I'm hoping his going to genoa to watch cavanni! The more realistic choice could be sagbo of evian.... The lad has potential

COYS

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Probably flying out to Monaco to withdraw some cash in a black bag before returning home.

Monaco you don't pay tax there.
