Right.........just had some brilliant news brought to me by a friend that has been situated in Germany for the past year.

It's pretty laughable actually!
He has pretty much told me to forget about spurs raiding a cash strapped LaLiga for strikers because that is too obvious. Levy has already struck a deal for a young german superstar.

Thomas Muller will sign in The next few days for a fee of 16m. Will be given the number 9.

If this doesn't happen I deserve all the stick in the world for the constant postage. I already told you guys about Holtby which was obvious to all of us but now I've put my neck on the line with this news.

Levy wants to bring the german Fever back to the lane.

Can't see that being the case at all...Unless, of course, there's been a drastic unexpected change in forward planning at Bayern Munich...Thomas Muller signed a contract extension until 2017 just before Xmas.

You're right, it is laughable. Thomas Muller was on record suggesting that he did not fancy any other club other than Bayern and is contracted till 2017. 16M to prise away someone who is as quality as him is something that makes me scratch my head. They would start negotiations at a higher price, surely?

61 kid, that was before Pep got the job. According to my mate, bayern are looking to generate money for pep to use once he arrives at the end of the season.

Pep wants to bring in 3/4 of his own players to make Bayern into a real force. Muller is not part of his long term plans.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I was almost confident this was a done deal.

If Levy continues his way of working then the surely the next striker coming in will be young and have a resale value.

If this is the case then it rules out Saldado 27 and Negrado 27......

To the brave Annonymous poster who posted under 61 kid, the price of VdV and sneijders price made my head itch too. Infact so did Michu's, Demba Ba and Hugo Lloris.

We will not sign Muller or Damiao, Oracle mk 2.

The Oracle has been quiet, I think he must be preparing a long post! Wouldn't it be funny if he was right about Damiao just when Channeller give him some competeition on the rumours front. The irony!!

Muller is not a striker, he has a decent goal record and a decent assist record, but he's more am or plays wider and at 23 a top player, one that Bayern won't sell, much less for 16 mill, really this is not going to happen

I think its very interesting and we will all find out soon.
I thought muller played behind the striker but then I don't really see Bayern play often so don't know.
At least you have something that no one else has mentioned or been reported.

for the record, holtby was secured ages ago, admitally for a summer move, but it doesn't take a genius to latch onto the fact that he could move early for a small fee, especially when sandro was crocked.

i believe a striker will be signed now that its common knowledge that defoe has been carrying an injury, but I havnt a clue who.......just like everybody else !

and there may be a surprise, similar to the vdv deal, if someone becomes available under the same circumstances, but don't hold your breath !

The other transfers mentioned by the Flanneller all have logical reasons as to why they were underpriced for the players involved, do the research and you'll also know why. Surely, the position of Bayern as a selling club is strengthened by the player signing a new contract? I do hope you are correct but I find it a strange transfer for Bayern to entertain when they have many fronts to challenge on between now and the time Pep takes over.

My views have always been months before they are even in the press, and when Damiao finally joins the longer standing readers will know I gave it before the press even knew who he was. The Chaneller just writes obvious 'non risky' things and is a fake of the real arrogant self assured deluded fool that is me.

According to reports in Spain he has had a change of heart on a move to England only if it was a big club that was after him.

Due to the exclusion of Damaio in the brazil squad, the player himself has admitted it may be time for him to leave inter to enhance his chances if making the squad in the future.

Levy will now have final negotiations with inter......

Despite all this I still believe in my source. It wasn't rocket science with Holtby but he is 100% certain a striker from La Liga is on his way.

As for Diame, he is not Tottenham bound. He could be on his way to Arsenal.

Marc all I know is spurs will 100% be bringing in a striker.

We have finally agreed a fee for holtby to join in January thank god all we need now is a striker not hooper a world class striker like negredo or an up and coming one like vydra only 20 scored 18 goals for Watford so far this season then champs league is ours.

Holtby deal looking close for January move and agree we need in quality striker but AVB says unlikely in this window hopefully just playing mind games.

why have we not bid for Negrado from Sevilla? With their debts, now taken on by local council, you would think a decent bid will secure a world class striker. And god do we need one. COYS!

Vydras has bassicaly signed on a permenant for watford in the last couple of hours so we won't be getting him.

Hooper would score bags of goals In championship too and is as good if not better than Vydras

Friend at Celtic says we were in with a bid for Hooper (not good enough in my opinion)but got rejected. Says very doudtful we will go back for him as was a very low bid.He's no reason to lie any truth ed.

Surely as a chairman of the club you love, and with half a footballin brain you can see for the last 3 years the missing ingredient has been a striker. I know Stats do not win games but we are domintating nearly all of them each game except for the end product. Would easily of had CL football sewn up this year and the last two seasons from our positions in January.

Seemingly the hooper is dead according to my friend at Celtic. He says that we are looking at a german striker but didn't have a name. But did say to me that we are definitely in the hunt for a striker before the window shuts. Maybe the rumoured injury to defoe has moved things up? Ed any comment

Just to let everyone know from a reliable person who is in the know Defoe could be out for up to four weeks. We are in trouble

No Premiership proven top striker is going to be less than mega money so, if Negredo can be bought now for £13-14m he should be snapped up surely.
