KEEP hearing this about robbie keane on a season loan to nottingham forest as a bellamy style deal, anyone no any truth in it?

Believable1 Unbelievable12

Probably Keane's other boyhood club Season long loan - probably to a premiership club or maybe even Celtic again.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would imagine Keane knows his time at Spurs is up and I also think if he insisted on sticking around any longer he would risk losing the fans respect. I honestly think he will end up at Wolves, coz even if he is s**t the fans will love him for coming back.

Spurs are signing lavezzi for 12million

Believable8 Unbelievable8

What a load of rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Think this guy could be good, plays a bit like Diego maradona, ( although obviously not quite that good) trouble is, would he come? And if he did 12 mil is nowhere near enough, were talking probs closer to 18 mil realistically

Agree0 Disagree0

The Napoli president (who is a bit of a Psycho, thought Messi should be banned from football for life for playing crap in the Copa America) said Cavani and Lavezzi won't go for anything less than 150m between them and later stated that Lavezzi is worth 50m which is about £40-45m which is some way off 12m

Agree0 Disagree0

Fookin fool plssss dont ever put this type of s**t in our page..

todays world no proven striker is available bellow 15-20miln base prize ...going on to 20miln+ n add ons n all

Believable7 Unbelievable9

Why are you teasing us like this?

Whats your source exactly?

Agree0 Disagree0

Uh, Copa ended on Sunday...

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought the copa america was over... I presume Daniel is 'changing' our wage structure slightly as well for Robben...

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop being such a k**b i am sick and tired of cr*p rumours that will never come true - i love spurs to bits and want to see them sign some great players but there is dreaming and reality

Agree0 Disagree0

Robben is busy playing for bayern against ac on ITV 4 dont think he will be coming. Wish he was

Agree0 Disagree0

Expect to see gio and bassong leave for seville in the next couple of weeks. not sure if they are part of a deal to bring in the striker from seville or if they just going for cash. keane is to be offere to qpr on loan with a view to a perminant move if they stay up. crouch and bentley could be used in a deal with everton to get rodwell

Hi ed how r we so slow in the window would it not be better to get players in early so the teams already gel wen the season start y do we leave things till the last min {Ed002's Note - Spurs have a large and expensive squad and there is a need to move some on to raise cashj and to see what wages will be required over the coming season. The international transfer window is not even half way through yet so there is plenty of time for transfers to be made.}

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Ed you say there is plenty of time , all I would say to that is if we have targets the longer we wait , the more chance there is we will lose them .And I still do not accept the we must sell before we buy nonsense it is total rubbish. {Ed001's Note - you can refuse to accept it all you like, but the facts are that the club has a shortage of money to invest at this moment in time due to the lack of Champions League football.}

Agree0 Disagree0

THEY JUST RECIEVED 27.5 MILLION FROM LAST YEARS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DOES THAT NOT COUNT?

Agree0 Disagree0

Levy is a great business man; he has stated we need to sell before we buy for obvious reasons:
[1] Currently our strikers for example: Croach; Defoe; Pav; Keane - if we add a new 1st team signing that's 5 wages? we clearly don't need them all.
[2] How can we negotiate a good fee for the player we want to sell while we are being drained in wages; obviously we would be on the back foot. Makes sense to sell before we buy

Agree0 Disagree0

Levy was not so great in the january window what happened then when all of a sudden we had £38 million to spend did it
get us a player no did wages come into it
no .Sorry do not buy great business man
.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure some people think that way that transfers work are as simple as they are in Football Manager. Listen to any manager or agent and they will tell you that transfers can take a long time. The modern day footballer has issues such as sponsorship deals, agents fees etc which need to be considered. It is all very well and good saying lets just sell some of our players and buy ? as it is more complicated than that. Firstly teams must want to buy our players and they are going to look for the best price for them, us as the selling club are also going to be looking for the best deal for THFC hence a lot of negotiations will need to take place. It would be irresponsible if we were to buy players now in the hope we sell. If we cant move these players on we will be left with an unsustainable wage bill and we could become another Leeds. Clubs would then hold us to ransom over players they want to buy knowing we would have to sell and we could loose out on millions which is not good business.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd have to say I disagree with the ed here I think the money is certainly there to spend it's more about getting the squad size down and the large wage bill. For example, get rid of three or four earning 30 or 40k and then you can bring in a couple of quality players on 60-70k. I don't buy into this tosh about having no money because we didn't make the champs league, rubbish in my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

What you are saying about getting four average players with wages of 30-40k off the books so we can bring in a couple on 60-70k makes complete sense tbh, but I do just feel that Levy likes to drag his heels a little bit in order to get a better price. I think in terms of transfer fees he just needs to take the hit sometimes and then just be happy that we got the player before anybody else could get a sniff. I, as a fan, would rather turn up to see our 25mil record signing with bundles of talent and quality than a player with a bit less quality about them who got for a snip at say 15mil. I think VDV is the only time Levy's 'drag my heels for a better price' will ever bear fruit and lets face it, we got VERY lucky with that deal coz Madrid wanted him off the wage bill

Agree0 Disagree0

I do agree that Levy drags his heels with regards the money he demands for players, I mean 9M for Crouchy, whos best days ( if he had any) are behind him but yet Levy wants to recoup what he paid, do you think he knows the word depreciation? I don't want to be too harsh coz I think he's been mostly excellent, just a little too bullish sometimes By the way, hope we dont get Negredo, mediocre player for me. Furthermore I'll risk the wrath of most Spurs fans by saying I would let Modders go, don't get me wrong I think he is a seriously classy player and I love him but a good deal like 25-27 and Sturridge for an unhappy player who should really get so many more goals for an attacking midfielder, I'll take that

Agree0 Disagree0

Modric isn't an attacking mid he is a playmaker granted for attacks to form or feed from but he isn't a shooter... That is why we desperately need someone who can put the ball into the big netty thing ...
And no amount of money can be given for a great classy player to go to a rival ...

Agree0 Disagree0

The ED is right. Levy cant win can he?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge to replace Modric?you must be kidding me

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not Sturridge to replace Modric, I just like him and think he'd get a hatful for us Modders has annoyed me a bit to be fair, wanting to jump ship as soon as we didn't make Champs league, after all he was part of that team that didn't make it Just felt he owed us another year I want players who want to play for the mighty yidos Dint know why he wants to go Chelsea anyway, they ain't going to win anything this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to add as well, you can't just say Modric isn't a shooter. I'm sorry but if your a professional football player playing in a forward position, be it att mid, playmaker or whatever you have to be able to shoot Im not picking on him as I said I love him as a footballer but there is no doubt he should get more goals

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever happens with Modric in this window or Jan transfer window, expect Rodwell to sign as a replacement. If Modric goes to Chelski expect Sturridge or another to be included in the deal
