Looks like we wont be signing willian there looking for 30 million euro (23 mill pound) for him cant see levy paying that the only offer we put in was 9 million pound ( 12 mill euro) not even near there asking price like,levy must expect to get all top players for buttons

You get the impression through the whole club from board, coaching, management and players that we lack that winning mentality. The real desire and determination to win and be the best seems to be missing. Smaller clubs seem to have more hunger and desire to show that spirit. We need to start showing this winning mentality and grit, and stop bottling it when things are not going our way. The fans deserve this! Just look how Everton are playing for the badge!

He has been sub for a few weeks now. I've not seen the line up but I'm guessing he is on the bench.

Not in squad at all so we can hope, problem is how many of us know if he is any good

Willian is a quality player but is he really worth 30 mil? you can get both dembele and dempsey for this price and they are proven epl players. hope you sign some good players and reach cl next year!

^^^^ To the poster above who says willian has been a sub for last few wks well your wrong, He missed first 2 wks of Ukraine season & then made his comeback in 3rd from bench & started next 3, he scored last wk so he must of been left out yesterday coz he's leaving.
Shaktar's midfielder Mkkhitaryan scored 11 goal out of 7 matches yesterday, I think we should be signing him instead of willian, he was voted player of yr by fans last season age 22 & already nearly 40 caps for Armenia 8goals & he's closing in on 100 gls in just over 200 LG games not half bad for cm/am.

Even i am starting to wonder over Levy.11.3m bid for willain is he mad.Its a lot of money yes if you are talking about a 17yr old but not this guy.I am beginning to think Levy will not now buy anyone this window and keep the money in the club.

Dembele is a must sign for Spurs. Please Mr Levy make this deal happen.

We should of finalised deals months before the season started. Dembele should of been brought in and VDV off loaded. Moses, Johnson, Hoilett or Sinclair as options for Lennon on the wing and cover. We needed a ball player/creative centre midflelder who could dictate and run the game. A quality younger keeper - Friedel took no command of his box late on yesterday and his past his best. Then most of all the what we have wished for the last 3-4 years, a top quality striker. Should of all been done weeks before the season started.

Spot on/ need keeper big time and two strikers we cant play with one striker specially at the lane

As usual we start our season on August 31st and even now, I'm not sure we'll see more than one signing and doubt it will be a decent front man either. 2-3 signings of decent creative quality and we can be hopeful, if not, expect 6th at best and real struggles with firm and fitness as Thursday/Sunday kicks in up to Xmas.

He'll keep JJ, the only position we're well covered in is holding midfielders who he wants to play two of, to chase around and press when we don't have the ball. Personally I'm as concerned about what ed don't or won't be able to do with the ball as well, particularly the 60%+ we often have it at home (or used to!).

Man u was in for may still be interested although a/f said no more buys dont believe it they was in for lucas moura lost out also behind the seens interest in modrat so they are still in the market

No mate, he has signed for RM, just waiting for a replacement before the club signs off on the deal. He will be wearing number 16 for RM for next season.

Mearly a few formalities to sort...Spurs will hold on to him tho until the sign a replacement...

Hmmm, lets see, we sell one player who is on under £50k a week, and sign two who are on at least £200k a week between them. neither have proven themselves in the same league as luka.

IF and i mean if man utd are interested, this is Levy time, his history in transfer dealings recently sold berba and carrick for £30 mill & £18mill respectively. IF its true, dont be surprised for players plus cash, as avb could well get sqaud players like anderson and nani in the deal (not as proven as luka though)

Can tell you right now that Damiao deal is OFF 100%.
Source is ITK, that never gets anything wrong.

We're very much onto plan B targets, perhaps even C.

I believe that all AVB's talk of not wanting another striker is just smoke and mirrors. I'm not ITK, but I have a funny feeling in the pit of my (beer) belly that by the end of the week Llorente will be a Spurs player.

Take his size, strength and undoubted ability. Add that Juve are cooling there interest and at 27 he is just coming into his peak, I really can see this happening.

We can all wish upon a star can't we? I believe he is one of the best centre forwards in the world, and apparently would be interested in a move. Much more likely to go to citeh or something with us ending up with an incredibly underwhelming strijer coming in as a budget option.

After this weekend, I would really hope we get that creative spark and that deadly striker as we are currently lacking that extra bite.

I know nothing much of Willian but heard good things and would really like to see the Hunter at the Lane KJH...

Totally agree. AVB is the opposite of Redknapp. He doesn't go shooting his mouth off and plays his cards close to his chest.

Also I thuink it may take a couple more games until our season begins.

As a club do we not realize points are up for grabs before the transfer window is closed. These points cost us dear last year, but at least they were dropped v Utd and City. This year we have already dropped vital points against Newcastle and West Brom. Is looking like a poor long season already. The only hope is 3-4 big signings this week. I fear the pressure is building on AVB and we may have to pay up when he gets sacked sooner rather than later

As much as I hope you are right, I dont think he will sign llorente now we got ade. Only my opinion tho.

Hopefully Ade isn't so self absorbed that he would think we wouldn't sign another striker. If not now in January as we will need cover for ANC.

That's got to be rubbish, surely we would be moving for dembele!

Why would dembele go to spurs. No CL and a small upgrade from Fulham. He will soon have the big clubs chasing him and that brings big money.

Perhaps then dembele should downgrade to small club like the wool wich wanderers......back to your own site......foolish little gooner
