Reports saying we've signed sigurdsson!

Believable10 Unbelievable9

What reports ?
So much shi*e is posted on this site I'd much more concrete rumours !
I've looked all over Internet and nothing ?

Agree6 Disagree8

He was seen at the Spurs lodge yesterday and many reports this morning have said he has signed for around 8 million.

Agree8 Disagree7

Not that this means it is fact, but someone has gone to the trouble of writing that he plays for Spurs on his Wikipedia page?!?!.... for what it's worth.

JE

Agree1 Disagree3

I posted this comment and too the gent who replied under me...sorry to let you know this is a rumour site and the rumour came from a german newspaper called BILD, so have I filled all the criteria to make this a plausible rumour. Now who looks silly?

Agree2 Disagree2

Anyone can update Wikipedia even you or I.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only people you'll be seeing at Spurs Lodge are contractors dealing with the flattening of the site. Spurs are now operating from Bulls Cross, if you intend on making something up, please use sound facts to backup your bullsh*t.

Agree0 Disagree0

Report sigurdsson has signed with spurs for 8 mill and will be made official by this weekend, found it very interesting

Agree2 Disagree3

You should all take a look on the Liverpool page you would think they have missed out on Messi the way they are crying lol

Agree2 Disagree7

Bbc are running this story now aswell...

Agree2 Disagree2

Spurs are going to end up like rangers spending more than they take in lets face it you arent the top earners in sponsorship deals liverpool 100m deal with warrior new naming rights 150m new sponsor standard charttered 80m so you take siggi we will sign someone else you will lose luca and we will see how much levy will spend siggi is his replacement and the gunners will still be the best team in london.Tommy Irish Red.

Agree6 Disagree8

One liverpool fan on there rumour page suggesting hijacking our bid for vertonghen out of spite! Not sure why they are upset he looks decent but not the end of the world

Agree1 Disagree4

Poster number 2 has clearly never used google!

Agree2 Disagree1

Liverpool fan here come in peace , according to what ive heard lfc have upped there wage offer to him and he will b deciding tomorrow between us or u , good luck for next season

Spurs in for Adam Johnson. Talks are already underway...

Believable7 Unbelievable16

Really good player hope it happens but cant see city selling to a top 4 team

ou812

Agree5 Disagree10

I hope so.

Flippit

Agree2 Disagree7

I can confirm that Adam Johnson has been scouted and not selected as a transfer target by the board. Clearly if Modric should go and other targets fail to materialise then it is possible but no more so than any other player who has been scouted only. Just to put tat into perspective there are 35 scouts who have 20 players on average each. So 700 have been looked at and he is at least one of them nothing more.

The Oracle

Agree2 Disagree6

Oracle, ' i can confirm' like you are someone in the know!! lol u do make me laugh! seriously how many of you little nuggets of info ever work out?? damiao is never gonna happen and if we have signed sigrdsson ( according to bild who are a lot more reliable then you) we wont need johnson (city wouldnt sell to us anyway). so please fella stop pretending your itk go back to your bed sit an stop living in your dream world! your getting really boring now.

Agree10 Disagree2

The oracle 'I can confirm' LMFAO
You couldn't make it up

Agree5 Disagree1

Why would we buy Johnson ? He will be on big wages and to come join us as cover for bale and Lennon doubt it

Agree3 Disagree6

City will not sell to a top 4 team so he could be coming your way. Ha Ha Ha

Agree4 Disagree2

To the obvious gooner above... last season results was as follows
1st Man city
2nd Man United
3rd Arsenal
4th TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Now do you need me to explain how your post is wrong or is that simple enough for you??

Agree7 Disagree2

Ahh the Thrush is back spouting his usual drivel and it seems that everyone has wised up to his BS , this sad individual knows absolutely nothing.
With regards Adam Johnson he was a solid transfer target and Spurs made and offer which fell far short of Chelsea's in the wage department.FACT source straight from the horses mouth whilst sitting in a bar in Los Angeles 3 weeks ago .

Agree0 Disagree0

Finishing in the top four out of luck doesn't mean your a top four team, YOU would have most likely finished 6th if liverpool and chelsea got their acts together sooner last season.

P.S Enjoy 8th next season, Daniel Levy isn't going to give you the neccessary money to remain anywhere near the top next season, not now Redknapp's GONE .......HAHA

Agree1 Disagree1

All you clowns who abused me above need to go back to school and learn how to read simple English. I said that he was scouted and not selected as a transfer target and you somehow interpret that as I am telling you he has signed. I am worried by the educational standards of our readers, but now realise that perhaps they couldn't understand half of my posts.

The Oracle

Agree2 Disagree1

No mate, it's just the you pretend your in the know, all your rumours come to nothing! Stop gettin humpy and have a giggle co we are all giggling at you!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Oracle -

You and I have had our run ins. That is well known. But I agree with you on this one and have some sympathy - yes you read that right.
Over the last few weeks, I have been running my own little expirement on a couple of forum sites. I always put my address in the email section (so the Ed's know its me) but I have only spradically signed off. I wanted to see if people where disagreeing with me, just because it was me. My findings to date are interesting. When I sign off I always get loads of disagrees (no matter what I write), when I dont put Flippit on the end I get mainly get the opposite.

The "according to all sources the streets the place to go" joke post the other day, which one poster said was the funnest thing they had read for ages - yep, you guessed it - that was me (which can be verified by the Ed's).

Yes, your posts do get me cheesed off every now and then, but even you will admit that when you make a sensible 'prediction' I do back you up and say that I hope you are right. But sometimes its just that your (or my) name is on the end of a post means that negative feed back will follow.

Flippit.

PS (nothing personal fella -tick tock!)

Agree2 Disagree0

The Oracle (Thrush) calling posters clowns is the post of the day, being that he is the biggest comedy act on this forum ! The sad thing is i am certain he is a pathological liar and genuinely believe what he writes to be the truth as there really is no other explanation.
He/She i am really not sure will make multiple statements about potential signings (the scatter gun approach) and will genuinely believe he was ITK when 1 in his 100 come to fruition . Let’s be gentle as he obviously needs help.

Not sure how true this is but according to Tribal football DL has contacted schalke in regards to Huntelaar and will offer VDV as part of the deal?

Believable3 Unbelievable16

I would of thought either team would want vdv and huntellar together

Agree9 Disagree0

Unlikely as the selling point on both sides is to play on the same team.

Agree7 Disagree0

Schalkle have said jkh is staying after reported interest from Chelsea and man united so why would he join us to play in the Europa league

Agree11 Disagree0

That's exactly what I thought the case would be but came across the story this morning and it left me kinda puzzled.

Agree2 Disagree0

Huntelaar would be class signing but VDV going the other way would be stupid because we'd have to buy another striker to replace him at prob twice the price

ou812

Agree3 Disagree2

Would be a great signing

Modric to Real Madrid for £23m plus player (Most likely Higuain) thoughts?

Believable8 Unbelievable17

Really dont wanna lose modric but higuain would be a good player for us. maybe chuck in kaka as well lol

Agree6 Disagree3

I cannot see them giving us £23m and Higuain but I think it's a good deal if he is definitely going to go. He'd be out of the Premier League and we get a top striker (that we need) and a big pile of cash to buy 1-2 other top players.

Agree2 Disagree1

Latest report is saying 25m plus Sahin, probably make the deal work for both sides if Real will part with Sahin

Agree9 Disagree1

Its going to be Sahin, just read it in a Turkish news paper, just thought i would pass on the rumour!!

Agree2 Disagree2

Id rather not lose him to be honest, i wanna add not sell our best players... definatly need a new striker though id love higuain but i doubt we could get him

Agree2 Disagree2

Atleast he'd feel around home at tottenham.

Tspur

Agree1 Disagree1

Spurs have included Sahin, Higuain, Kaka & Diarra as possible makeweights. Of those I would love Sahin as he looks real class and could become the next Modric or perhaps even better. Higuain is simply outstanding and would set Spurs on fire but surely outside our reach on a personal terms basis. Kaka does not look likehalf the player he was and I would be worried about him signing but once again unlikely he would take a wage cut. Lastly the most likely player to line the deal will be Diarra who could provide all the cover and power we need to challenge for the title in the next 3 years.

The Oracle

Agree2 Disagree7

So deepending on which of the 4 options Madrid will alo have options on the cash value .. doesn't sound like a deal that will happen Oracle with all those options. I would suggest a more like for like swap with future potential, Sahin, would be to Levy's interest given all the other youngsters we've been linked with lately.

Agree1 Disagree2

I can't say Higuain playing in the Europa league.. Bit below him. Same for Kaka.

Agree1 Disagree0

Once again I thought I wrote in basic english, but it seems to have been warped again in translation. Let me try to write in a more transparent style for you;

If Modders goes Madrid we want a player in exchange mate. Ya know what I mean, someone wiv class and some dosh on top.

The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree1

Not all the top players can play in the champions league. There's only so many teams from each country in it and they don't own all the best players. If anyone would rather sit on a bench doin feck all than play regularly for us in whatever comp we're in then stuff em. We don't need players like that. We're trying to build something at Spurs and if players want to come and contribute towards that then they're more that welcome. If they're money grabbing b**tards who winge like kids when we narrowly miss out on champions league football then they're not. Gerrard and Suarez stayed at Liverpool when they didn't have champions league football. Thats what we need! Loyalty and commitment.

Agree1 Disagree0

Excellent comment and if only more fans and clubs would demand it and be prepared to be patient to see the success that could come from it. We're all a victim of today's instant-gratification society, the younger generation even more so as they're being brought up thinking that they shouldn't even have to do anything for it.
Would you rather spend £1/2-1billion and win the title in 2years like a couple of clubs in blue recently or, build a squad playing great football who prove a point on the pitch before anything else and win it in 5-6years? Neither likely to happen to us but i know which would be even more satisfying.

Vertonghen on his way to spurs. Feee around £12m

Chris Hughton in with £5mil bid for
Naughton

Believable8 Unbelievable6

I do hope so, but cant see them paying 5 million for a player who did not start every game last season.

Agree3 Disagree1

I think you are totally crazy if you believe that they wont pay £5m. Let us not forget that Spurs paid £4m each for two kids 19 & 20 years old who hadnt even cemented a place in Sheffield United's first XI. If Hughton did secure Naughton for £5m I would be totally devastated as he looks to have even more potential than the brilliant Kyle Walker. Infact when we signed them it was Naughton who was miles ahead in his development and looking to be the main weight of the deal, Walker was looking like a risky side bet at the time until a Villains loan opened his book. Norwich and Lambert at Villa both will try everything to get what they see as an even better Walker in the making. Naughton seems to have everything and I think we would all do well to support this lad as a fan base before we lost the best future RB in England.

He has all the attributes that make Walker great but in additon he is stronger, even faster, more defensively disciplined and has a better positioning awareness.

The Oracle

Agree3 Disagree4

The mirror are saying its £6mil now so someone wants him, Norwich would be perfect for him and can see him knocking on the England door befor to long
