I can't give my name for certain reasons, you would know me if I did. All you spurs fans calm done! We will sign 3 players before the dead line comes. Two of those players have been talked about on here over the last few weeks. The other has not. Once again I can't say anymore about who I am and those players that will sign.....

Spurs to announce 2 new signings after the weekend, one World class forward and a replacement for Modric. I am been told the deal for the forward is been held back to avoid upsetting certain members of the team that will be moved on after the game tomorrow. Make of that what you will, but I think the guy was talking Defoe!

I am a chelsea fan, but visit this site as spurs will spend a lot as it will be very exciting week coming. AVB is a very good at buying good players eg mata,cahill,lukaku.
So the spurs team requirs much of a building as modric & dawson moving out, parker being injured and a long term kepeer required. If avb have 60-70m available(35m coming from modric's sale) avb can buy 3-4 players required to play his style and with success.thanX and like all to shed their views.

Adam Johnson to Sunderland. Official. We've missed out on a potential star in a spurs shirt. AVB and Levy must have something up their sleeve if they opted not to sign him. Chance missed in my opinion.

It is being reported on Radio Paranaiba, a major Brazilian radio station that Damiao is on the verge of joining Spurs. The only sticking point(bar medical) is that Internacional want him to play for them until January and then move to Spurs, but Spurs insist on him joining in this transfer window.

Been saying since end of last season we should sign Dempsey, can play in any of the forward positions. Regardless of whether we sign Willian/Damiao I think Dempsey would be a great addition to the squad.

So here's what i think, now all the nonsense about Damaio has gone lets be realistic. I think we will buy Willian, which i think will be a good signing plus sell Modric to Madrid with someone coming this way, i would take one of their younger unproven strikers as good cover for Ade. Then if we are really lucky get in a good CM to replace Modric. Maybe Moutinho but it will probably be someone cheaper. If this happened it may not be but with that squad and AVB given time to get us playing how he wants it could still be a great season.
We all love the rumours and i would love us to go and get 2 - 3 big names but it's just unrealistic. That squad could easily get fourth place and champions league and then we will have a carrot to dangle next season when trying to entice big names.
Sorry if this is not but needed to have my say, cheers.

I agree, I think the rumors of massive players might make this seem like a bad transfer window but I think if we make those signings it would be pretty good and although Chelsea have strengthened a lot arsenal and Liverpool don't look any better maybe worse so with a good season we could get 4th.

Agree 100%, being a lifelong spurs fan you have to.apart from the VDV deal last year which was a 1 off, levy is too hard a negotiator. Brilliant for selling players, getting them in is another thing.

Ade, Defoe and Kane is not enough, we need a STRIKER. We needed a better one than Pav when he went and got Saha as a stop-gap, now we've gone backwards. Kane is unproven, may do ok in time but needs to be the 4th option and Defoe limits us to 4-4-2 or having him up top alone and often isolated and less versatile than the like of Ade.
Get it sorted or struggle for top 6 let alone 4 !!!
Im pretty sure AvB has it figured out if we needed another striker we would be after one who knows we may be but won't know really till its announced so no point in worrying

We have a commercial link with Standard, like we do with Inter. If a player goes abroad then the team they go to does not have to pay compensation. We would have loaned him out anyway so I could see him ending up at Spurs anyway but not for 5.5m, I have no proof of this it's just an opinion. Levy may have seen a way of saving a few million whlist getting a player match time. possibly?

Interesting discussion on ts yesterday regarding fryers.
If he would of come to us direct from man utd, there would of been a fee involved.
He can move abroad for free, funny how liege have the same working agreement/ affiliation with us like the one with internacional.
