Yeah bring in Rossi, Forlan, Adebayor and Higuain...go on I dont think you mentioned getting rid of Defoe either - so that's be 6 quality forwards, including Van Der Vart That would leave 2 of the above not even making the matchday squad each weekend. Dream on

Marca ans El Mundo saying three clubs have made bids for Aguero and are awaitubg his final decision due to be made on Sunday
the clubs are City, Inter and Tottenham

This has to be good news (if true) regardless if we get him or not. To be in contention we must have bid c.£30m which will show we have money to spend

what i have herd is only city n juva have bid for him...there is also rumours abt liverpool but after spending so much already they have no chance

abt us we r not in frame ...he is 40miln+ n 160k+ per week ... thats the asking price ...if we want to have him with no champions league n city also bidding we will have to spend 50min+ to lure him ....its unrealistic {Ed002's Note - Manchester City's reported offer is £152k per week - after tax. That equates to £15M per year for Spurs to find for his wages alone.}

It's not like we dont have the money, we had a bid rejected for him in January, for 38.5 mill. He has already said he won't move just for money. If levy can convince him we are ready to challenge for the title you never know.

And we have shed loads of money, just can't use any of it till we sell players because our squad is to big. Hence why we are signing youngster. Fact Why would Harry say we are trying to sign 2 fantastic players if we only had 3.4 mill to spend. Think about it.

Here we go again. We are supposedly bidding for a player that we have no chance of signing. He can earn 150k per week at City or Inter and challenge for league titles and Champions League every season so why would he choose us? Harry and Levey can once again try to say "we tried" which to them justifies why we will not spend big. I genuinely hope I am wrong and Harry has two players that will come in and really improve the team to push us to the next level but with our current pay structure compaired to many other teams I just cant see it I am affraid and I feel this is a stalling tactic to put others off of Modric and Bale.

Apologies, I am a Liverpool fan and like to look on other clubs websites to see if they are as delusional as the Liverpool page; after reading that a club with a 60k a week wage cap is looking at players like Aguero, Forlan or Higauin is rather funny, if HR had £45m to spend why would he buy 1 unproven striker when Tottenham would be better of trying for the likes of Gyan, Sturridge or Bent, these are on reasonable wages and proven, Bent I know is a no go as far as moving but if I were a tottenham fan I would be disapointed to see the club go for Aguero as he won't benefit the club financially and what if he does come good in the Premiership. Plus there are more areas than just ST Spurs need;

Modric may leave so you have to replace that with the £40m or so.

You need a striker who has low wages and is plausible

What about a RB, Kyle Walker isn't ready yet IMO

CB, you have Dawson, Kaboul, Gallas and the ever injured King (who on his day is a tank) Woodgate is gone and Bassong looks destined for the Door. Surely another priority for Tottenham?

What about wingers, you have Bentley, Lennon and what else Giovani DS and obviously Bale, another priority especiall with injuries and GSD and Bentley looking like leaving?

Spending a whole transfer budget on Aguero would be stupid IMO,

dont mean to be disrespectful but their are more priorities than a world class striker

Spurs have had a bid accpeted for Vucinic. I haven't been told how much, but I'd expect it to be between 14-17 million. Will post more if/when I get it. Don't get your hopes up yet though, I'm told other clubs are 'sniffing around'

I hope i'm wrong but i can't help but read this as typical ITK-wannabe blurb - making a claim (bid accepted) about something that is very likely, whilst leaving an exit route (don't get your hopes up).

Not lying - IF Modric leaves, my friend has told me that Redknapp will ''seriously consider'' Arjen Robben. Seems strange as Modric plays in the middle, and Arjen out wide, but there you go.

Ben {Ed008's Note - Robben goes wide right Van Der Vaart drops in the middle with Huddlestone Bale wide left and we go 4-4-2 if Robben even comes ?

Either way you have VDV in the middle of both of those teams and I think he's look suspect when he's played in the center instead of being further up field
