You are very close to signing Mirko Vucinic from AS Roma. Also interested in Adebayor on loan, but City would have to pay half his weekly wage so that maybe a stumbling block. Will let you know more if/when I hear more

Oh well thanks very much We will wait with baited breath till the next piece of useless information.

We signed this guy in January, only for the chairman to pull the plug at the last min, this is 100% true. So I see it as we are trying to sign the likes of Rossi, eto etc and if not, we will get him as a last resort.
Agree0

I would rather have Vucinic than Adebayor any day of the week
Agree0

Utter desperation As if City would loan us Adebayor - then pay a portion of his wages.. this is crazy talk; can't believe we are taking this seriously.
So now we are to also believe Robben wants to join us in the Europa? This really is funny season

Guys dont know y n how these names come out n with it a bulls**t theory
robben is earning much more the we pay or can afford ...is in champions league n y would he ...n that logic of he supports us n all is sooooooooooooooo stupid

Hi Ed - Can you tell me if it is true that Pedroza had a medical this afternoon? I heard it on an ITK website and I also heard that there has been a bid for BAE. Would you also say that we have about just under £32 million to spend so far, with money from the Champions League run and the sales of O'Hara & M'Poku? {Ed002's Note - Last I heard was Spurs were not interested but Crystal Palace were. I don't know what Spurs have to spend - but clearly not enough for Adebayor until they sell.}

My m8 said he played for palace Tuesday, and he said he was doggers, which means i doubt very much we will sign him

Lookslike kyle naughton is off to norwich instead of qpr on a permanent deal.

Another waste of talent - well, at least it's money to spend
Agree0

To be fair we've already got three Prem quality right-backs - and Kaboul and Gallas can play there. Let's face it - Naughton isn't gonna get a look in

Prefer to give him a chance with walker and get shot of hutton and maybe corluka.

Good call Guvnor. Loan deal confirmed.

Yet again townsend puts on a stunning performance against Brighton. He must be promoted to the first team to challenge Lennon. What a player man. Azza

Although Townsend struggles at right midfield and plays left mid, i don't think he would challenge lennon at all bale maybe but also as shown for England and Spurs Lennon is woeful left midfield
Agree0

I agree, he's looked like a great player from the few games i've seen. hope he gets a chance but first we need to get rid of bentley, altho i thought he was ok against the pirates. 'arry also has to realize that VDV doesn't fit in that role.

VDV is CLASS man. He could adapt anywhere, and does.

That's not what i witnessed when he replaced lennon on right wing last season - the price paid for trying to squeeze two in up front. he's a class forward but not exactly pacey.

He played bloody left midfield last season for Millwall, Watford and us against Charlton, Kranjcar played right midfield that game who as replaced by Lennon (had to look it up though) also he played left mid against Brighton and Harry Kane played on the right

Looks like their is some truth in the Adebayor rumour. Several papers quoting Arry today.
Keep us posted Ed if you hear anymore.
Cheers

Forlan(after the Copa America) and Adebayor(if City are willing to do business) coming in, Crouch and Keane on their way. Hutton to Villa and Bassong to Bolton, Cahill may come in cash + player deal, but prefers a Champions League option.

I would certainly take that
