Why of Why do people bang on about Damiao???
World class people say? Never been tested I say.
Proven goal scorer people say? Look at his record I say. He is a brazillian. They rarely adapt to the English Game and certainly not quickly. Robinho anyone? Sunderland Alfonso Alves? Arsenal's Andre Santos? the list goes on and on. I admit some have done well. Arsenal's Gilberto, our own Sandro, Lucas, Oscar. most with the attributes that fit the english Game. Its OMI but in Jan you want players to make an instant impact. Go and get a proven goal scorer. If in deed AVB wants one. I personally feel he doesn't want to change much at least to the end of the season.
Damiao has signed watch this space, and Holtby could join early if Schalke want £1.5m. As crazy as it seems Schalke believe they cannot achieve their targets without him, so he must be better than I thought.

Please lets be sensible, we know that DL sees him as a young player that could increase in value and AVB likes him, but stop trying to make out we have signed him, we haven't, if Internacional accept Levy's offer before the window closes then it could happen, but that hasn't happened the last three windows so no guarantees it will again and I can see us trying an 11th hour bid for Negredo again, with Seville needing money it could happen
