A french article claims that Marseille officials met with Spurs officials in Paris earlier in the week to discuss the transfer of Loic Remy to Spurs in exchange for Pavlyuchenko. The deal was scuppered as Marseille wanted Pavlyuchenko on loan but Spurs wanted to offer £7m + Pavlyuchenko for Remy. The fee for Pav would have worked out at £14m as Marseille place Remy at £21m.

Qpr fan here just to ask is there any truth in the rumours about niko? i have heard on qpr sites that it would only be a loan deal with option to buy in the summer

Bloo*y hell , rumours going round loftus road that Spurs have agreed a fee of £4 mill with rangers for Nico , you have to be joking surely . Was told by my uncle , who has supported them for 50 plus years , bless him !
