I have a friend who works in the city. Spurs are discussing contracts to take Damiao and Eriksen on 5 year contracts. No hesitation from all involved. Looking serious.

City?

Damiao is in the bag, but if we get Eriksen it really will be a White Christmas. Imagine Eriksen will be reviewing a briefcase full of offers, what a brilliant player.

So your freind works in the City.......London then......and where abouts.....the Spurs Board room I take it, and he has obviously sat in with the other clubs boards and discussed these deals.......or have you been reading the oracles posts and the sun.

After Verts comments re: Eriksen it would not surprise me to see him at the lane sometime.

Is your friend in the city also known as The Oracle by any chance?

Is Sven goran coming to the lame in some football role? As for Christian, forget it bigger boys than spurs interested in him from across Europe.

I can confirm I work in the City, but do not know him.

I actually hope he is right about Eriksen, as I think he will rise to the very top of football. Sadly I think the heavyweights know that as well and we will struggle to secure him, but I am sure we wil try very hard.

I respect and value lollipop men, as they do a great job for children and the community. To make reference to them in a derogatory fashion with an undertone of humour is poor form.

For the record I wear a white double cuff shirt and that is it. On the football front it will be amazing if we can get Eriksen. I doubt we will be that lucky to get the brightest rising star in football.

I now know that your fantasy is to see me at work in a white double cuff shirt with no trousers. Perhaps if we don't sign Damiao I might offer to fulfill the fantasy and run the length of Tottenham High Road in that outfit.

Happy Christmas and a great New Year. Lets hope we can win the next three games, with Arsenal losing all theirs.

So the end of the world didn't happen, and lets hope 2013 is unlucky for Arsenal and Chelsea. We all hope Santa is kind, and puts three really big presents under the White Hart Kane Christmas tree. I wrote to him wishing for Damiao, Willian and Eriksen, a d told him my Arsensl mate wants Benitez, Shane Long & Gallas back.
