{Ed022's Note - Hi all. I just wanted to notify you all that there has been a pretty hefty update to the Player Profiles website. This update now allows you, the fans, to upload your own profiles on any player, in any league, in any position. So, now rather than seeing just my own opinion on a player, you can now see other fans' opinions also on those players, as well as dropping a comment and giving your own. This update has taken a fair bit of time and I'm hoping that you'll all use it to the full etc, and just to come over to the site and have a look. - www.player-profiles.co.uk - thanks all.}

Sorry not a rumour but press agree button if you think we should build a statue outside White Harte Lane of Ledley King

Believable27 Unbelievable17

He is not worthy, guy plays like 3 matches a season.

Agree6 Disagree13

Yea Ledley is a legend but don't you think people like blanch flower, greaves, perryman, Roberts, mabbut, gazza, hoddle, bill nich fall into the same category?
We could have loads of statues. Maybe we could have a permanent hall of fame plaque

Agree11 Disagree3

^ Clearly a Gooner.

Agree4 Disagree4

If he a gooner, wouldn't he love to have someone with the mentality of Ledley playing for them. They ain't gonna get far with the likes of RVP, Walcott and ones befor like nasri and fabrigas.
We have had them with the likes of Campbell, modric and berbatoss.
Ledley was our tony Adams, a club legend.
In today's football, a one off

Agree6 Disagree2

I only wish i could shake ledleys hand and thank him for his loyalty 2 the club and the fans..my fave ever spurs player and will always be a legend..a hall of fame wall would be great..ledley u will be missed mate..lets hope young caulker takes a step in ur giant footprints

Agree5 Disagree1

We have a wall of Fame. Dating back to the turn of the 20th Century in the tunnel at the Lane. The away team have to walk past it when heading to their dressing room. I think it's only a matter of time until Ledley gets his face up there!

Dom

Agree4 Disagree1

He is right though. King was there for about 14 years and played about 300 games.

Agree6 Disagree2

Dont write of ledley he was willing to cripple him self to help you lot out more than any player has done for there club

Agree10 Disagree2

As much as he is and forever will be the King of the Lane, I do not think we can create a statue of him. But I have great respect for him.

What I do think they should do, is retire his shirt number. It's not part of the first 11 so it's not a major issue. retiring number 26 will be a nice gesture.

Naz

Agree4 Disagree3

As far as im aware, jimmy greaves isnt on the wall of fame.

Agree0 Disagree2

Good idea Naz !!

The agent of Brazilian ace Leandro Damiao has revealed he has had contact with AC Milan after meeting members of the club's board.
ou812

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Was that transfer ever gonna happen for us? Never!
Where's the oracle? Maybe he sorting his season ticket at the Olympic stadium!

Agree8 Disagree1

Lol I would love to see a random nutter sitting in the olympic stadium when we play at home

Agree4 Disagree1

The oracle is that nutter lol

Agree1 Disagree1

Damio and oscar just want the money...when asked, oscar didnt even know where chelsea finished last year lol..they are ignorant and 2 focused on the glamour of football...let them go to so called "rich clubs"...we will be fine without them...plenty more good players who would be proud to wear the spurs shirt coys

Dapz

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes I will be that sole random nutter all alone in the stands. The Spurs team will walk down the tunnel onto the pitch and they will wonder were you lot are.

The Oracle

Agree3 Disagree4

In the Oracle's defence, it could have been possible but he's missing something that means it won't happen. The Olympic Park Legacy Committee (who i hate with a passion) have not managed to find any viable way to utilise the site going forward after the games. Their total bias was about retaining the running track so they could use the stadium for Athletics one more time in a lifetime when it would actually be worth it and nearly full; the World Championships in 2017 so, West Ham won their initial bid. No other party whatsoever apart from Spurs was offering to make the stadium fit for purpose and actually fill it every other week and use it for concerts etc PLUS re-develpoing Crystal Palace to a much more suitable size for Athletics going forward (and at 25k probably still too big 95% of the time). What they did was twist the PR into a 'Spurs want to knock down our £500mill stadium' - total joke, how about 'we've already wasted £500mil on a stadium we can only use once more after the Olympics because we're on a gravy train'. West Ham can't fill Upton Park in or out of the Premiership, ridiculous. Anyway, the u-turn from the OPLC will not come soon enough because of the 2017 World Championships so Spurs will be well underway with new stadium in Tottenham by then, even if Levy and Co did want to HELP THE OPLC OUT OF THEIR MESS. If there are now 2-3yrs of delays and problems then maybe but seems far too long away.

Agree1 Disagree1

I agree with Dapz, they are ignorant.
the brazilians just dont care about league positions. There's no way DamiĆ£o or Oscar could join us if other clubs(that can pay higher wages or appears more in local media) are looking for them.

Pedrivo, the brazilian yid

Agree0 Disagree0

I missed nothing and you are absolutely correct that no decisions post the Olympics have been officially agreed. The 2017 world Olympics will take place whether a new stadium is constructed at Crystal Palace or whether a solution for the current stadium can be found. Levy wanted the stadium with no conditions, but every business meeting and proposal starts at their best position. Our proposals including all the options ranging from investing in a new stadium at Crystal Palace, right through to have a retractable seating and roof. One thing you all seem to be missing is the stadium is a 20-30 year investment, and the Workd Olympics are a couple of weeks. The worst case scenario would be seating removal and a running track installed for the event. Levy has already proposes a whole host of options including a temporary nice to Wembley Stadium for the World Olympics. The FA currently would not allow this option and there are loads of finer details to be agreed upon.

So before you continue throwing stones I would like you to answer the following;

1. Why would Spurs build a 55,000 seater state of the art stadium, when the current waiting list for membership exceeds 120,000?

2. Every single fans knows we could easily fill an 80,000 stadium, and therefore can you guess what this represents in projected revenue and profitability over say 5 years?

3. Are you seriously going to tell me the government following a banking crisis and massive cuts to public expenditure will allow the Olympic Stadium to become a white Elephant?

4. If you accept life after the Olympics, are you suggesting Essex Ceicket Club, Formula One Racing, Leyton Orient or West Ham are realistic candidates?

When you have thought about the real facts, then try to believe what I am telling you. Spurs will be playing in a new 80,000 stadium in the Olympic Park.

White heasrt lane has been graced with many a good player, but unlike other past players he stayed loyal and shed blue and white blood. thank you leds for putting your body on the line in the defence of thfc, great bloke true spurs legend

Agree6 Disagree4

He only stayed with the spuds as he was to injury prone to get in a good team

Agree2 Disagree8

Such a shame he has had so many promblems with his knee, solid as a rock in defence.

Agree4 Disagree1

U poor fool only stayed cause of injuries, even with one leg he was still better than most cbs in pl. even gthe most daftest fans of which i think ur one stated what a gifted centre back he was. shame on u someone retires injured and u being a jerk still has to mock. dont know who u supt but go back to ur own club even with one leg in past seven years still won more that all the jewels ha ha at the emirates

Agree1 Disagree1

I would love to tell everyone how great a player, how great a man and what a Tottenham footballing god he is. But we all know this and it's been said already. So I just want to say three words to "our King".....

........Thank you Ledders.

Santi carzorla could be modric replacement instead of moutinho

Believable1 Unbelievable10

Yes swapping a center midfielder for a winger makes total sense! Stop reading the Mail !

Agree9 Disagree1

To be fair Cazorla is more of an attacking midfielder than a winger just like Modric. Remember when Luka first arrived we used to play him on left sometimes. Cazorla is probably better used in a central creative role than a wide role.

Agree2 Disagree5

Tbh honest modric isn't really a true 'attacking midfielder'. He's a very unique position. Most people who are called 'attacking midfielders' are number 10s behind the striker, like Van Der Vaart, Gylfi, cazorla, Ozil, Oscar, and Dzagoev. Modric is a 'number 8' or a regista in the mould of pirlo, xavi. I'm not saying he's as good, but that more central is much more similar to the role he plays

Agree4 Disagree1

Cazorla can play central, am or winger he's a fantastic player and I'd rather have him than Modric and I love Luka, but Santi would be a fantastic signing

Adebayor has been offered £100k per week with a £3.25m signing on fee, whilst Man City have already agreed a £6.25m transfer fee with Spurs. Should we sign Adebayor on these terms I will personally be delighted, as he offers a threat if AVB can just keep him motivated.

Should Adebayor not complete very soon, we should also be equally delighted. The terms are clearly attractive and very near his current remuneration. Lokomotiv will try to Gazump our deal with a big offer and higher wages, and very soon we will see if Adebayor really wants to wear our shirt or not. Levy will not budge on the already attractive offer as he wants passion and commitment from all players.

Adebayor are you signing or not ? Because if you are get signing and if not we will quickly move for our other options like Huntelaar & Sturridge.

The Oracle

Believable8 Unbelievable9

And what about the Olympic Stadium ???
We are all waiting !

Much love

Agree6 Disagree3

What about your buddy Leandro? Given up on him coming over? Shame on you! To think I used to trust in your 'accurate' predictions.

Agree7 Disagree3

Adebayor should be on nowhere near £100k per week, he's awful. I'd forget signing him.

Agree4 Disagree8

How long a contract, seeing as you know all the other details but omitted that ?

Agree0 Disagree1

17 goals. how is that awful especially as he is more of an assisting striker than a goalscorer

Agree5 Disagree1

Im sorry you are wrong he is not awful, last season he was excellent near enough every game he played excellent i dont see why everyone thinks hes rubbish because he bring people into the game scores goals puts pressure on the oppisiton just because hes not this big name everyone seems to think were going to get youve got a problem.
tspur

Agree7 Disagree1

I personally want Ade to come but would like him to stay in the box cause so many times last season he went wide and we had no-one in the box. When he is in the box he won a majority of the balls that we put in.

Also Thank you to LEDS the LEGEND,King of the Lane

Agree6 Disagree1

Please do not be as fickle as Arsenal fans, and well done to the poeple who remembered he scored 17 and assisted 11 last season in the Prem alone! think back, when was the last time one of our strikers scored more?

that is an amazing offer (if true) and im 50/50 if I want him. Can we do better? if its not broke, don't fix.... those are the questions Levy will thinking about.

Oracle got the Olympic stadium wrong, and Dimiao but do we need to remind everyone evrey time he posts? He said sorry, and to be fair, he hasn't been flaunting his "in the know" info as arrogantly nowadays.

BUT Oracle, don't think we have forgiven you just because you said sorry, just have a bit more humility incase what you think will happen, doesn't. Nothing is ever certain in football.

Naz

Agree5 Disagree2

Was at WHL heaps last season - those who say Adebayor is awful don't have a clue what they are talking about - he is simply put a quality player who worked his socks off every game.

Agree7 Disagree1

He is one if the best in the role he plays right up there with drogba, granted he has a heavy touch at times but I believe he scored 18 and assisted 12 that's fantastic and I would take that again this year along with a midfielder that can also score as well as pass (modric )

As for the stadium lol , have you not seen the boards surrounding WHL what a tit levy would look if he turned his back on Tottenham

Oracle ... AKA news reader / blagger

Neil Essex Yiddo Adams

Agree2 Disagree1

Trasnspires ade runs two orphanages in togo, most of the money he earns goes towards the up keep of all the kids, so really as opposed to oher greedy players, he is doing something really wonderful with his wages, high wages indeed but at least kids are benefiting from it

Agree5 Disagree1

YET AGAIN nothing new form oracle. The Sun, BBC, talkSPORT and our own club website has been reporting this for days.

Give it a few days and maybe oracle will tell us if Ledley is going to play on or retire.

I wish oracle would retire.

Agree3 Disagree1

17 goals, 11 assists for what amounts to 10m plus 100k per week seems like a decent price for a proven EPL striker. Now I wonder how is attitude will be affected if we sign another striker from abroad and AVB rotates them ?

Agree1 Disagree1

I laugh at the total nonsense some of you write, and you call me the nutter!
I wrote months ago AVB, Vertonghen, Siggurdsson, Adebayor, Damiao & the Olympic stadium. Well the first 3 have signed and Adebayor will soon follow. Anyone would think the new stadium was already built at White Hart Lane and Damiao had joined AC Milan by the way you dismiss them.

So stop being arrogant self righteous clowns, and start being a little more balanced in your responses.

When Adebayor & Damiao sign making it 5/5 correct I suppose you"ll forget about all of them and start harping on about the Olympic Stadium.

The Oracle {Ed002's Note - You need to go back and read your posts - try searching on "Oracle".}

ORACLE -

Theres only one person on here that is laughable son shine and thats you. If you really think that NONE of us on here can recal the b******* that you come out with and the order that you have said it in, then you are laughably deluded. You only wrote about AVB, Vertonghen, Siggurdsson et el AFTER every other media source reported it first.
You didn't even mention the sales of Kranjaer, Charlie or the purchases of the youngsters that we have recently pinched from Utd etc and the very sight of your name bores the living s*** out of me. You are nothing more than a parasite. SOD OFF !

Agree4 Disagree1

Ed - The Thrush is a pathalogical liar which is evident in his postings and constant drivel about players and the Olympic stadium but please be aware that it's is a disease and he genuinely believes that he is ITK .I have only come across the BStitus before and that is on the Spurs Community forum where I believe the Thrush belongs. If you allow him to keep posting then instead on mocking his drivel we should embrace him and his disease.
So come on champ , we really do believe you and your inside knowledge....
