ED, just heared on tv hoddle and spanish journalist guillem balague reckon RM don, t have the money to finance the bale deal, have you heard anything, also read spurs interested in modric. {Ed002's Note - As I have explained befoe Madrid are selling and exchanging players to fund the offer.}

Rose and Chadli covered the left side pretty well . though Palace didn't exactly attack us wide at any point during the game on either flank.

Rose is young and can play a big part for spurs this season, he might not play every game but he should a large chunk of games

Remember as well chaps with Kabul returning and Capoue able to fill in centre big jan can play as he has done for his country at left back. Remember away last season he was man of the match scored a goal and played left back. Could this be in AVB's mind.?

Rumours on twitter has it that Willian will sign for us, one particular account has reported this. a lot of people on there has also noticed that Willian himself has followed both Sandro and Paulinho on twitter.

Just reporting, know little myself.

LFC fan here, he also previously followed Lucas and Coutinho, and then after your two lads Rafael! He's playing mind games with us all! Not fussed who gets him tbh as I think he is a little overpriced at £32m. Good luck for the season exciting times for us sets of fans IMO

Would rather have lemela, but after watching the game on Sunday, I think we need a top playmaker, in eriksen. Soldado just wasn't getting the right service from siggy, I believe he is better on the wing too

Hi Eds, any news regarding Willian? I know we've been linked with him for a long time and was wondering if there is actually any truth in it, or if it is just lazy journalism like 75% of the other stories about Tottenham. Is there any reason to actually be excited about us being favorites to get him now? {Ed002's Note - See a previous answer please Tommy.}

I think Tottenham will sign Willian and that will probably mean Gareth Bale leaving for Real Madrid if they got the money. Its looking more and more like what a previous poster said. Tottenham getting all the players they want before Gareth Bale leaving. A win win situation. Of course we all want Bale to stay, but its looking less likely by the day

Willian is not a replacement for Bale, he will be deployed on the right wing in place of Lennon. Lennon will then be cover as AVB has lost patience with Lennon's shooting ability.

I agree, good business by us. I'm also seeing some absolutely ridiculous rumours saying we are going in for FALCAO ( never in 100,000,000 years)

I still think that Lennon has a lot of room for development, his pace is such a threat down that right wing, I could see Willian sitting more in the center causing trouble more than plonking him out on the wing?

Lamela would be expensive. I think levy needs to cash in on bale before spending that kind of money. that being said I don't think roma be interested in selling him
