Ed's any truth in the rumours about julian green? For me he's going to be something special in the next few years!, however right now he's not what we need, we need proven quality. So on to my next question, who are we REALLY after first team wise? Cheers eds

{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich are not looking to sell Julian Green and I am not aware of interest from Spurs.

These are the players that Spurs have shown some level of interest in over recent months. Most predate the change of manager but were from a time when the club knew that Tim Sherwood would be moving on:

LB: Kolasinac, Radu, Bertrand, Cuadrado (but Barcelona are looking to replace Alves with him), Moreno
CB: Lovren, Caulker, Mangolas, Hecotor Moreno, Savic
MF: Dzemaili, Aaron Hunt, Lallana (if Lamela is sold), Sadio Mané (interest might well have gone), Onazi, Pjanic (really, really unlikely), Fischer (really, really unlikely).
FW: Lacazette, Morata, Emenike, Jay Rodriguez (if he can prove his fitness), Konoplyanka, Muniain, Lukaku (unlikely), Hernandez (but there is significant interest from elsewhere), Jackson Martinez (very unlikely), Heung Min Son, perhaps Remy.}

Remy terms agreed and set for Spurs.
Lovren in discussion but Liverpool looking likely.
Lallana not an option as Konoplyanka favoured.
Shaw a dream at best, Van Gaal has him in his clasp
Vorm warmed up and possible particularly if Lloris goes
Balotelli never a target and already considering Arsenal
Rodriguez regrettable interest medical dependent - please fail
Benteke real interest even injured - Crazy!
Karl Darlow interest but Have to fight Mourinho
Konoplyanka interest but Liverpool and the big money spenders PSG now in pole positions.
Bony interest if we can steal him as a squad player
Savic swap deal with Chiriches possible but difficult
Druissi looks likely but Levy wants to steal him
Frickson Erazo is possible as cover for Vertonghen & also Kaboul who looks likely to leave.

Gomes, Kabpul, Livermore, Adebayor look likely to leave.

Haha.

I love reading your posts oracle and wish I could believe this.

However all that you have written has been mentioned by lazy journalists and regurgatated.

If you are ITK as you claim then why are you always wrong? Is Damiao not coming this summer we can unveil him at the Olympic Stadium

I don't get what's so wrong about this stuff. The lazy journalism is for example: "Remy is waiting for talks with arsenal" I think these rumours are pretty valid.

Fair summary of what the media is rumoring . But as a non-executive director Oracle what does your added insight provide beyond that?

so the fact that Gomes has ALREADY gone, makes him likely to leave does it? Bore off Oracle. You have got NOTHING right on here, other than putting anything you see in the media for months and by chance might get lucky. It's just all rubbish.

Oh dear oracle, oh dear! Damio all over again lads

Hi eds all I've seen on every website is the news of us trying to sign lukaku is there any truth in this or just rumours? Also is there any more news on louvren? Heard that he handed in a transfer request. I presume we'll be favourites and I also presume any deals that will be done will be after the World Cup

{Ed002's Note - Whilst efforts are being made to save Lukaku's career with Chelsea after he upset the club, there is interest from a number of sides including Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, WolfsburgNewcastle, Roma and Spurs. Shakhtar, Zenit and Everton are interested but probably not options. I suspect the Borussia Dortmund interest has gone.

It would not be out of the question for Lovren to move on this summer and with Southampton showing an interest in Caulker the club are likely expecting offers. Interest is there from Roma and Liverpool and even Barcelona may be keeping a watching brief. Spurs are looking for two centre backs and will, with their new manager, also look to Lovren.}
