Hey long time reader first time poster.

This Falque deal got me thinking that it could well be a sweetener to Juve to accept a bid for Milos Krasic. Perhaps even a swap deal involving Kranjcar?
From what I have seen Krasic would really suit the speed of the Premiership while Nico's languid style could do very well in Serie A....looks to me a win win deal. And wages shouldn't be that big for us.
I hope it happens as our right wing looks pretty desperate when Lennon isn't firing or injured, and Lennon can be used on both flanks anyway.

Hearing some rumours about Defoe going to Liverpool for around 10 mill also hearing spurs watched Eden Hazard and not just Remy hope Levy has plenty of cash to lure him to the lane of what ive heard he could be the next Messi.
Also Samba has officially asked for a transfer QPR are favourites to sign him not to sure if he would suite spurs.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

He's not the next messi, steady on

Iago Falque has signed on a permanent deal from Juventus and gone out on loan to Southampton for the rest of the season {Ed008's Note - Now this surprised me when i found out earlier....

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I wonder are they freeing up a loan spot..
Espur
{Ed008's Note - You make a good point.

Agree3 Disagree0

Krasic? {Ed008's Note - Maybe ;)

Agree2 Disagree2

Happy days - looked pretty good in the Europa games !

Flippit

Agree3 Disagree1

If they have loaned him to southampton they must be bringing in someone else didnt arry say he needs to keep the depth of the squad and this guy plays either right mid or att mid, hope were going in for hulk!

Agree1 Disagree0

^^^ would prefer Eden Hazard.

Flippit

Agree2 Disagree0

We won't hulk as Porto said they wouldn't sell for anything under the release clause what is about £80m and I think we would buy hazard and not loan him that points all fingers at kaka or more likely krasic like I said a few comments up and at the end of last week... From what I've been told krasic has turned down a loan move to PSG saying London was his preferred destination so that leaves a straight fight between us and Chelsea

Godfather

Agree1 Disagree4

I cant see hulk kaka or hazard comming players like this are all after huge wages and yes the club can aford it but why right now you are in a great spot and there is no reason why you wont do that again next season .

Hi ed, Thanks for reply about Mandzukic also think he's a good player but how good is hard to tell as he plays for a poor side, watched him play for Croatia against Ireland & looks to have to good feet & holds ball up well.
What I wanted to ask you is with Seville signing reyes has there been any interest in Diego perotti this window from spurs, I know harry likes him & was scouted a lot last season. Could he be the special player he has talked about reckon he'd be a great signing.
Espur
{Ed008's Note - Theirs interest but whether we follow up with a bid we'll have to wait and see.

Hi, im a massive spurs fan and also a very excited one seeing the team play such great football. We play the best football in the league by a mile and even the likes of sir alex ferguson have noticed. I have just seen on skysports that Christopher Samba has handed in a transfer request. I expect us to sign Samba but dont be too worried if we dont go in for him for another week or so. I heard this rumour on a few sites that when Redknapp went to the marseille v lille game he was not just watching Remy but also Edin Hazard. I hope to God this is true, he looks likes a exciting player with the world at his feet. Reminds me very much of Neymar.
Thankss..

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Really sorry but cant se players like that comming to you yet if you one the league which i think is possible then maybe but as yet you have won nothing so why would they come

My days are over fellow Spurs fans, and true to my word I will accept my defeat. I was adamant that Cahill would follow his footballing heart and instead followed his purse. My credibility is shot to pieces and no longer will I have a rightful place on this forum.

The funny thing is that I genuinely am 'In The Know' bit this just goes to show that we are as isolated as all of you well informed fans. I apologise for my over exuberant prior postings, but please accept that I seriously believed those things would happen right up to Cahill making a U-Turn today.

So once again I apologise for getting it wrong and hope that you will get better luck in the future. The future at Spurs looks fantastic, and with a couple of quality players we can challenge for the title. Good luck all and 'Come On You Spurs'.

Anyway any news on Damiao LOL ....
{Ed008's Note - He's not a Spurs fan he's known for being on the Arsenal site under a different name. Nothing new on Damiao.

^^ what a very sad individual , i always thought he was. Thanks for the proof ED.

Agree9 Disagree0

Wasn't the oracle going to reveal who he was?

Come on, i'd say it's pretty sad how you all react. He was man enough to apologize, then we should be men enough to accept that. {Ed008's Note - I'm accepting it move on!

Ed he can't be a arsenal fan everytime someone said something about arsenal bing better than spurs he defended spurs.
I remember ages ago someone posted something about doumbia being too big for spurs he was the only one defending spurs and recently he posted this.
---
Arsenal are in serious trouble and need to sign four world class players to turn the corner. The issue is the board have been a selling club for 15 years and have only slashed the cash in emergencies. The trouble is these emergencies leave you with panic buying disasters like the last few purchases at sickly over inflated prices.

Many people would be biased and say you are a one player team, but to be fair if you remove Van Persie goals you would be sitting on 13 less which would put you in 15th spot behind Fulham on goal difference. That would be unfair as Van Persie is an Arsenal player but the point is made how influential he is for Arsenal and if you included assist the picture would be even more worrying.

The issue with Arsenal is there appears an arrogance from board through manager right down to fans, that they have an automtic place in the Premiership elite. Sadly the trasnfer dealing over the last 10+ years have been short of other clubs on the rise. You have been lucky with a few top quality players that have been nutured by Wenger, but in reality you bought loads and a few turned out good.

If we look at the team you have Wojciech Szczesny who look half decent, well he has had planty of practise behind that woeful defence. Sagna is over-rated and has conceeded 11 in 11 games, Mertesaker look far too stationary for the Premierhship, Vermaelen look top quality and should provide the rock. So outside Vermaelen and Sagna there is little left when you look at Djourou, Squillacci, Santos, Koscielney, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Hoyte and co. It is time to face reality and buy three players or tell Sagna to defend only and face up to the fact he cant cross the ball. Suggest the purchase of Cahill & Cissokho should be priority signings.

Midfield has some light contrary to losing the brilliance of Fabregas and Nasri. Jack Wilshire look fantastic and Theo Walcott is good enough to do a job. The issue is the rest a mediocre Arshavin, Song, Diaby, Rosicky, Benayoun, Coquellin & Arteta. Despite the ridiculous transfer fee Oxlaide-Chamberlain look seriously talented and it is time to throw him straight in now but Wenger is going to nuture him for a year or two it seems. This means you need to sign three world class midfielders and if Eden Hazard is one then Tiote should be the man to provide the steel and Kaka the flair. Sell and loan out the mediocrity and build around a cornerstones like Tiote, Kaka and Hazard.

Up front the picture is terrible and fantastic all in one. You probably have some of the worst strikers in the premiership and then you have Robin Van Persie. Henry is a great piece of business who will bring confidence and moral boosting togetherness, but seriously Cho Young cant even score aginst Shrewsbury when given a chance for 71 minutes when even Gibbs scored one. Gervinho 4 goals in last 24 appearances is laughable, Chamakh 1 goal in last 15 games is the worst I believe of any Arsenal striker in the history of the club, and that leave a horrible hole if the brilliant Van Persie ws to do a Fabregas or get injured. Demba Ba has been linked but surely you need to look bigger than him with the likes of Hulk, Higuain, Podolski, Damiao or even a hostile bid for Suarez from Liverpool.

The truth is Arsenal need players like Cissokho, Tiote, Hazard, Kaka & Higuain but the apetite for investment seems a long way short of this. In addition players know that the Championship footballing years are coming to an end this year, and the ship is sinking albeit slowly.

Only 3 point clear of Newcastle and 2 clear of Liverpool makes worrying reading. January could unlock the season and springboard Arsenal back into the mix but I expect no quality signings and mediocrity to dilute the team into 6th at the year end.

Good luck my dearest Gooners, I think you are in need of plenty.

The Oracle
------
I very much doubt he is an arsenal fan or is he mick?
{Ed008's Note - I say we move on. He insists he's a die hard spurs fan so he's a die hard spurs fan.

Agree2 Disagree5

C'mon guys. One wrong prediction and we all go mental? Leave the guy alone and give it a rest. Cahill was coming Spurs remember? As The Oracle said, he followed his purse not his heart. I'm a new poster, but leave it out?

{Ed008's Note - Agree!

Agree2 Disagree7

Was it me but did cahill look very uncomfortable in the stands at chelski saturday?
considering hed just completed his dream move,he didnt exactly look like the cat that had got the cream,in fact he looked totally ill at ease and very uncomfortable.
perhaps he wanted the move to spurs but it didnt materialise and had to settle for 2nd best?

Agree0 Disagree7

Id just like to add to my cahill/chelski post that the oracle should be allowed to post, storm in a tea cup
bucks spur
{Ed008's Note - He will be.

Agree0 Disagree5

You guys are going way over the top i think oracle always made a good, well articulated post and i always enjoyed reading his thoughts. we are all spurs fans here and we want the best for the club i for one hope he posts again
yido1981
{Ed008's Note - He will post again...

Agree2 Disagree5

If he was a Gooner at least he could spell!

Agree2 Disagree3

We all know that the oracle and I had our ding dongs in the past, but most of the posts above are right. His input was well thought out and indeed articulate (i remember saying that before). He insighted much debate and kept us entertained for a long time. I for one cant think of anyone else doing the same for a very long time.

If you read my previous posts you will see that they neither agree or disagree with the oracle, mearly inform and remind and on a couple of occasions heed warning. I have nothing against him personally other than his reluntence to see the point of view of others because they contredict his own. He stuck to his guns even to the bitter end and he is to be congratulated for holding his hands up
and publically admitting he was wrong where we can all shot at him. He could have just disappeared. I take my hat off to you sir.

I may not agree with your opinon, but I defend your right to voice it. I live in a free country, and this is a free site so I say if he wants to continue to post in the future (and im sure he will) who are we to stop him. Although oracle, may I suggest a little more humility in the future, it might not get so many peoples backs up....

I am as stubborn as he is and with that in mind I look forwrd to many more ding dongs with him in the future.

ON a side note - I am however rather curious as to how someone can remember word for word the oracles posts from old, or more likely why they would copy it and save it in a file ?? Seems abit extreme, even for me.

Flippit.
{Ed008's Note - As long as im Ed he will be allowed to post and share opinions.

Agree0 Disagree4

Oh the fickle finger of fate

Agree1 Disagree1

I think all morden players now are money grabbing b**tards the days of a player signing for love are over

Agree1 Disagree0

So the Oracle got his prediction wrong.... big whoop, are we really going to stop him from posting up thoughts and opinions because of this?!

He is obviously a spurs fan, and I strongly believe this, all you have to do is read through some of his posts to see!

If we banned everyone who posted something wrong on here then this site would have no posts!

I say welcome him back and do not put your house mortgage on his prediction, this site is for rumours and not facts after all, so there will always be room for error.

Naz

Agree1 Disagree0

Eds no longer accepting negative posts? {Ed008's Note - Depends what they are...

Agree0 Disagree0

My last one (zer0) thought it was very well put, and to the point. excusing bullying/bad language/or racial or sexual predudice everyone should be allowed an opinion.
{Ed008's Note - Why are we still talking about it ? Move on it's getting boring now.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ah i see we must talk about things you don't consider boring,

what would you like me to talk about?

Inter Milan claim that some English clubs are actively chasing Tevez, any ideas who they could be? so far I've only heard us and (don't laugh) qpr linked, can't imagine anyone else chasing him. not english or talentless enough for liverpool. Too expensive for Arsenal. I seriously doubt Man Utd would touch him again. chelski maybe? interesting anyway.

zer0logy

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Harry would love to have him but wages and the likelihood of City being prepared to sell him to us make it unlikely.

I guess it really comes down to how much City want him out and what wages Tevez would accept, he supposedly was prepared to drop his demands to get the Milan move, whether or not he'd be so inclined for other clubs is another issue

Agree2 Disagree0

I completely agree with this, just thought it was interesting that a few English clubs were chasing him,

For me the wages and the fact he may not want to be in England are the stumbling blocks, although not young this is the type of signing that would suit Levy as well, a marquee signing at a reduced price, 20mil means a couple of successful seasons and there is a decent resell value on him, even if ended up being sold at 25mil. 5 mil profits not to be sniffed at.

zer0logy
{Ed008's Note - City wont accept anything less than £30.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fair enough. you see inters bid being rejected then? {Ed008's Note - It has been rejected i mean £30M btw.

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh ok, cheers, (yeah i figured you meant £30M, if he was 30 quid i'd buy him just to help out around the house.)

zer0,

Agree5 Disagree0

City have said they want £25m for tevez.
would be interesting if we did make a bid.
would make city nervous! {Ed008's Note - I would be surprised if it was £25m considering Corinithians nearly got him for around £40m. I'd say £32-£35m im sure he wont join us.

Agree1 Disagree0

Corinthians was before substituteGate {Ed008's Note - City still insist on getting near enough that amount.

Agree0 Disagree0

NIce one zer0.

Ive heard his gardening skills are reasonable - you should see his skills on the green stuff......!

Flippit.

Agree2 Disagree0

The Inter bid was 30m Euros - about £27million stirling. £3 million short of they're valuation. This is why it was rejected.

Flippit. {Ed008's Note - It was much less than that. They want over £30m

Agree0 Disagree0

I stand corrected.

Flippit.

Agree0 Disagree0

So anyone got any idea who the English clubs chasing him might be? {Ed008's Note - Because Hughes is at QPR everybody thinks they'll sign him, Tevez made it clear he wants to leave the country im 99.99% sure he won't join another club in England.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jan 2012 07:45:46
We need three more players everyone knows that. CB Vertonghen would be my first choice. Winger. I'd go for Ganson and another striker Huntelaar would be ideal. Any chance of any of these Ed {Ed008's Note - Their would be chance if actually we made a bid of either 3. They are all viable targets, Levy just needs to stop being a tight ****

Believable5 Unbelievable2

For a winger that's not been mentioned (this window) I still like Willian (Shakhtar Donetsk)

zer0

Agree3 Disagree2

Huntelaar is all we need to finish in the top two this season he'll love having so many chances... no point in bringing in others till the summer as it might effect team morale

Agree3 Disagree0

I presume by Ganson you mean Ganso from Santos but he's not a winger more an am/playmaker

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Jan 2012 00:23:57
Probably another hard sell as we're on the tales of Man U but, keep hearing about Berbs being linked with a move to Germany - surely it'd be worth an ask? Great control, good vision and quality finisher, would link up brilliantly with the current front-line and style of play.
