Ed, I know its The Daily Mail and they are usually full of it but they are now running with the story that we were watching Eden Hazard tonight which is what i have been told too and said on my posts. Have you heard anything?
Why would Harry tell the world so readily about watching Remy? Its the perfect foil! Obviously other clubs are interested but this has Daniel Levy written all over it. I aint saying its nailed on like Oracle but theres strong rumours from an individual i know.

{Ed008's Note - It would surprise me if we made a move for him but would be a fantastic signing. The fee would have to be £25m+ would Lille sell ? Would he be interested in a move ? He seems to be interested in a move to Spain.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

The truth is Harry was scouting for Remy. Hazard is not coming, sorry! He wants to go to a big team.

2 goals from Remy tonight. Still no good?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Watched the match and Remy looked really sharp tonight. Just hope HR also noted Valbuena and Hazard also as they also looked good.
Valbuena looked similar to modric in playing style(creative and set up Remy's goals, good cover or cheap replacement!) As for Hazard although on the losing side is a TOP QUALITY player and never gave up tonight! How about a cheeky bid for all 3?? £35M
What you all think? Ed's any ideas??

foxspur
{Ed008's Note - Valbuena was available in the summer if the right bid came in i think he's a better player than Lennon. Not a fan of Remy i think he's just all pace but Harry's interested. Hazard top class player whether he would be interested in joining Spurs is a different matter.

Agree3 Disagree0

No, no, no. Remy has skill, he can shoot and score with his head and can play as a centre foward or left and right wing. This is a jewel, i have watched him since the Euro Under 21 championships (many years ago). If i had my way i would tell Arsene to sign him.

Agree2 Disagree0

Anybody can score goals unless your name is Andy Carroll....

Or jason dozzell

Or marouane chamakh

Why is Redknapp saying 'i doubt anything will happen' regarding him going out to watch Remy.? Whats the point of going there then?!
Lets hope its Eden Hazard he is watching, but its probably Joe Cole! lol.

Ok why not sell chelski modric and we take fernando t +20ml and then go buy Hazard how about that sounds dam good to me.

Dont laugh Guvnor , thats a lot of rubbish that Arry really likes !

Agree2 Disagree0

I personally don't rate Remy, and would much prefer Hazard. I also think that we need to leave Ade in the summer and go for a player that socres more for the amount of chances they get! Rossi would be ideal, but he looks a bit injury prone especially after this bad injury he has had this season. Tevez will definately not come. The wages a big factor, and City wont sell to their man 'title' rivlas. I think if we can get a few players just to bulk the squad up and see us through the rest of the season to get 3rd, 2nd or maybe a miracle and get top, then we can really attract the big players, i.e Benzema! {Ed008's Note - I wouldn't say Rossi is injury prone just picked up a bad injury. His price will be very cheap come summer considering Villarreal's position. I want Rossi or Huntelaar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - I dream of either of those

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep dreaming, its your time. Players will not necessarily come to your club just because you have finished 3rd for the first time in many years- you are still a risk as far as players are concerned. you need to be consistent to attract top players. {Ed008's Note - Jealous much ?

Agree2 Disagree4

4th, 5th and potentially anywhere from 1st - 5th is fairly consistent....only a handful of teams can be at that level several years on the bounce due to 20 not going into 4 very well so go figure!!

To answer my earlier post, officials are going to see Remy play tonight....but it gets better......not just remy also, valbuena and Sow. Spurs definitely in the market!

Believable2 Unbelievable8

Well Sow's at the ACN so that'll be a tough one

Honestly .... Would anybody else be pissed if we go for and sign remy .... He just doesn't seem to be that extra bit we need more a average player swapping for another average *pav* player
His goal tally this season the in French Leuage isn't really something above average to me and I don't think last year was that high either .... I for one would be thoroughly disappointed to get him
Bear yid

Believable6 Unbelievable5

While he's not the best, he's better than pav, and sometimes players raise their game if there playing with better players. If nothing else he offers cover for Lennon, and who knows, he's been compared to Henry, so for the right price I wouldn't be upset. 22 m is too much though

Agree4 Disagree1

Everyone knows he's not the 'special player' redknapp has been talking about and so does redknapp. Harry would only buy remy as a squad player, as cover for the wings and striker. As an addition to the sqaud I think he would be a great buy at the right price. Remy isnt meant to be our star signing so dont think of him that way. plus he will only be purchased if pav is sold

Agree2 Disagree1

We will only go for Remy if Pav goes as Harry believes we must have 3 proper strikers in the squad for competition.

Agree2 Disagree1

I agree, I haven't ever really seen remy do anything that warents that price tag, better players for less money. We need a finisher more than anything else, get the hunter for 15 odd mil!!

Which would totally change the way we play.
huntlaar is definitely not the answer
{Ed008's Note - You dont need to play long ball to score with Huntelaar he's a box player he'll out away all the chances Bale,Modric,VDV create 9 times out of 10 fact. He's got everything his goal record says it all.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ed can huntelaar lead the line? genuinly don't know, but hopefully as the way I see it we need someone with the physicality and workrate of ade, and the finishing of defoe. {Ed008's Note - I reckon he can i've seen him play always impresses me his work rate is good aswell.
03-04 AGOVV 35 Games 26 Goals
04-06 Heerenveen 46 Games 33 Goals
06-09 Ajax 92 Games 76 Goals
2009 Real Madrid 20 Games 8 Goals
09-10 Milan 25 Games 7 Goals
2010 Schalke 40 Games 23 Goals

Some people are saying it's the Dutch League it's easy blah blah.

His International Record
U21's 20 Games 18 Goals
Senior 48 Games 30 Goals

If you can score 30 goals at International Level and you have the likes of V.Persie infront of you then your a good player and you know where the back of the net is.

Skip to 1:10 as well as a goal poacher he scores goals like this on his WEAK foot.

{Ed008's Note - Give me his email address and i'll spam his inbox!

Agree0 Disagree1

Sign him up daniel!

Agree1 Disagree0

Someone needs to get a wife! {Ed008's Note - Lol who's that ?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a natural goalscorer, with our midfield he could score 25 a year plus we could have a real go at the title (still could without him I'm just saying I think he'd br great for us)

Why not fork out that tiny bit extra and go for a younger player who has more potential and from all reports about how remy isn't that great go for Damiao ?

If anyone needs cheering up, read Gary neville's yes GARY NEVILLE'S blog on the mail website. Who'd of thought that among all the negativity it would be him with our strongest defence? Bloody inspiring {Ed007's Note - I don't usually entertain that rag, but my leanings towards Utd means I like Neville:

Cheers ma, also never read the mail, but very enjoyable article, Gary Neville has impressed me on sky sports recently as well. seems like a bit of a legend
