because i am bored, I thought I'd take a look at who I believe would be the 4 best candidates for the managers job when harry goes to England/retires/goes to prison
1. Ancellotti - Probably my first choice, proven world class manager, would attract and keep the top players, loves london, has strongly suggested he wants the job and is on a year-long break from coaching, meaning theres no chance one of our rivals could snap him up before redknapp goes. Issues - wages? and man management skills seem to be questionable, looking at the wilikins debacle at chelsea. Apart from those though, definately my first choice
2. David Moyes - Has worked wonders for everton on a ridiculously small budget, good developer of young players, knows the english game inside out, probably wouldn't command as high wages as carlo. However, does lack experience at a consistent top (3?) club in England, something we would definately be aiming for. Great possibility, and definately wouldn't be sad to see him come in
3. Gus Poyet. ONe of 2 riskier options. Advantages - loves the club, knows it and a lot of the players from his days as a coach, has worked wonders at brighton, lots of potential. Extremely young, so possibility of building a dynasty if he is successful. Cons - obvious really, inexperience, not as big a name as any of the other two, could struggle to deal with the major superstars. Unproven but massive potential
4. Tim Sherwood. This is a name I have heard whispered around, with the idea being he is being specially groomed for the job. Another young, promising coach, who is doing well with the Youth Squad (especially in Europe) he would know all the players and the club inside out, and could prove to be a shrewd signing. Again potential to create a dynasty. Problems are much the same as poyet, except with potentially even less pulling power for players and experience. Again, high risk but high potential.
Finally, honourable mentions should go to:
Brendan Rodgers,
Roberto Martinez,
Paul Lambert,
Jurgen Klinnsmann

Moyes

^^ Oh look, you can tell its a Gooner. CAPITALS!

TWO WORDS..........................................

STEVE KEAN

Mourinho

^^ As above Ancellotti.

1. Ancellotti all day long
