I disagree with you there. some big names turn out from small teams.
pablo piatti plays for almeria, check him out. hes a top player.

Well, in all honesty, as somebody who is far from stupid, ive never heard of him!
Apart from his name being linked on here, who is he? Alan Sugar wasnt so wrong when he made his "Carlos Kickaball" speech.
This fella plays for a small club in a two team league, a league where the "legend" and multi club journeyman John Aloisi became the leagues top goal scorer. .
Helder Postiga was a "top player" Nico Clausen was a"top player" i can name plenty more who were "Top players" in Mickey Mouse leagues but why should i bother? Maybe you are right, he may turn out to be the kind of bargaion that Hernandez has been for Utd but, i don't think so. . .

Porto's in portugal but i see where you are coming from. hes been spoted watching almeria, and athletico to

If that's true and he has been spotted at Almeria then it will prove my point totally, the man doesn't know his horse flesh. Almeria is like Doncaster Rovers! Lets not forget that Redknapp went to his son for advice on signing Van der Vart, a Dutch international and Madrid squad player FFS! ! Like, WTF did he need advice on?!

Alot of people may disagree with me but dawson needs to improve fast. he makes rash decisions and challenges and at least once per game he is caught in a bad position which opens up opportunities for our opponents. its not good enough.

kaboul is solid, i can't criticise the guy. where ever you want him to play, what ever you want him to do, he will give his all. therefore would partner him with dawson come the start of next season.
we need a right back desperately.

defoe looks to be coming back to his best. his movement is alot better and his work rate has improved. don't forget hes had a bad injury which would effect anyones season.
if harry decides to play him 1 game then drop him the other then of course his confidence is going to drop aswell as his performance. that's where harry has gone wrong. he should stick with defoe upfront with vdv in the hole.

i love harry but through out the season, his team selections has been abysmal.
the only manager id'e like to replace him is jose. he would know who we need and where we are going wrong. harry on the other hand would sign a player we do not need.(pienaar) theres no doubting the guys ability but we don't need him. .infact i think hes made 3 appearences and disapeared.
pavlychenko is the worst striker i have ever seen, performs one in 5 games. needs to be sold along with a few other players.

the only big name i could see leaving is vdv for personal reasons.
bentley, pavlychenko, keane, krancjar :( , hutton should be shown the door. (woodgate released)

hopefull signings.

if only vdv could convince wesley sneijder. . .

Yes, i disagree with you. Dawson hasnt had a great season but he has done the business in previous seasons, no need to get on his back this time round, particularly as he has had more than one partner at the back this season! Give him a break.
Defoe? he is s*it, a player that "will come good" but never does, scoring the spectacular goal in one game/ hattrick then getting sod all for the next half a dozen games ist good enough.
Pav is a better footballer than Crouch , who is utterly useless.
Kaboul is ok, not top class, has a big tendancy to be caught out of position, he is no great shakes, another Redknapp signing that is mediocre.
Would agree with some of the other comments, my issue is that redknapp is no tactician and is the kind of guy that will jizz at the thought of signing Kenwynne jones instead of somebody who is top draw. Look at Sulley Muntari, on loan to Sunderland, a complete waste of space but Redknapp thinks he is the dogs nadds.
I suppose when you are used to buying your clothes at the flea market, moving up won't make that a habit easily broken.
Its pretty clear that the club is at a crossroads, Redknapp thinks the supporters are out of line and that the club has overachieved, the supporters think that, with the squad we have, we bloody well entitled to think that, at the very least Europa league football should be doable every season. my guess is that Levy thinks the same as us, he has never been shy of providing the funds but is the manager the right one to go and spend it? Look at his signings: Jermain Defoe, Pascal Chimbonda, Robbie Keane, Peter Crouch, Niko Kranjčar, steve Piennaar & S bastien Bassong. Have i missed anyone out? Ive not missed van der Vart out, that was all down to Levy. .Tell me, where are these players now? How many would you say are top draw signings? How many that may be, and i think Kranjčar is, can get a regular game? Just how good is Redknapp really?

Wow. Now that's low. You have to indicate how another team gained points on Arsenal at the top of the league. Nice one! Really showing how great your team is!

If you really want to do thia head to head thing. .

Arsenal goals v Spurs - 9 goals
Spurs goals v Arsenal - 7 goals.

That means we win the head to head on goal difference anyway! Lol! Looks like Bale is crocked - its all going wrong for you lot.

The real difference is that you're in 6th and we're in 3rd. Nuff said

Your club is sinking. . further!

Forever in our shadow.

If you beleive all the crap that gets posted on the various sites (mostly by jealous Arsenal and Man U fans) then Spurs team next year will be full of past it ex spurs and Harry players like Carrick, J. Cole and Berbatov.

Lets get something straight. Spurs DO NOT have to sell any players if we don't get into the champions league. Modric, Bale, Lennon, Sandro etc will not be going anywhere unless someone comes in with an absolutely silly Ronaldo-esque transfer fee.

The only player that may leave is van der Vaart, as it is obvious that Harry has realised that for everything that he brings to the team, he does also restrict it somewhat.

I also agree that we are somewhat delusional to think that we stand a chance with the same targets that Man U, Man City and Chelsea are after ie Aguerro, Neymar, Llorente. We cannot compete with Man U's pull, and Chelsea and Man City's ability to pay £200k a week wages.

Daniel Levy is a very shrewd man and will look to assault the transfer market in three stages.

Stage 1 - Sell all the fringe players on higher wages, ie Keane, Bentley, Hutton, Dos Santos, Krankjar, Palacios, Pav etc

Stage 2 - replace them with the investment in talented younger player from our youth set up ( Danny Rose was outstanding against Blackpool, Caulker, Bostock, Walker) and the investment in other talented young players ( Wickham, Gardner, C. Clark, Oxlade Chamberlain)

Stage 3 - Well placed high profile realistic transfers. A striker (Falcoa/ Hulk) a right back (Richards).

Levy realises that Harry will not be around for ever, and that the team is bigger than one individual. Harry has done a fantastic job, but if he leaves or if Mourinho wants the job then I think he would be ruthless and make the move.

I have no sources for any of this, it's just an expressed opinion that will no doubt cause much constenation with rival fans, but hey!

Harry needs to stick with defoe for the rest of the season and find him a decent partner.
aaron needs to start taking on players, running at them with his blistering pace. defenders s**t themselfs. against blackpool he performed well. he needs to do that more often.
when he collects the ball instead of looking for a pass, he should aim to take on the defender to open up the game.
