Hi guys. Well, the window has been nailed shut - despite David Moyes's attempts to keep it open forever - and we're already being linked to various players for the future.

Pato, it seems, was a last minute target from Corinthians. Interesting option and certainly one out of left field. Hard to believe he's still only 24, but this one might be worth re-visiting in January or, as some Brazilian reports are suggesting, next summer, either before or after the World Cup, and depending whether the former Milan player makes the Selecao squad.

Then we hear links of us sniffing around the PSG starlet, Adrien Rabiot. I must confess, I know nothing about this kid, but I don't for an instant believe PSG with all their wealth, would let us slip in and snap him up. Really don't see this one happening.

Finally, I wanted to come to Alen Halilovic from Zagreb. Looks like a good player, but I wonder now that we have Eriksen, whether we even need Halilovic now.

Anyway, back in July, we heard that we had agreed a transfer involving him and defender Tin Jedvaj, but then the deal blew up in our faces and the latter opted for Roma instead. As far as I can find out, Halilovic - despite a rumoured visit to Croatia by Levy - is still there and no future option on a transfer was signed. Does anyone have any information to add to this? Ed? {Ed002's Note - There was certainly an approach about Pato. Adrien Rabiot got himself in to a little trouble with the club after complaining about not being a first pick for the team. I think a move unlikely in the short-term but there is interest from Italy and Marseille.

I wouldn't rule it out and it's more then likely halilovic will happen in January and be loaned back to finish the remainder of the season. I believe daniel Levy has now turned his attentions to Young u21 starlets and I think in January he will spend time filling the academy with top, young future stars.
