Why do people keep going on about demba ba.
He had one good season in a sh.t wet spam team.
Even i would of looked good in that team.
Half a good season at newc. Then cissy came in and he faded away to nothing.
He has dodgy knees.
Just a younger version of Saha. Will show flashes but will
Be no good over a season.
God help us if he comes in as our 'new striker'
So def a HR signing.

To replace kranjcar would love to see stephan el shaarawy from a.c milan. 19 year old with great skill who can play on either wing, behind the striker or upfront.

Hi Eds,
just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on Huddlestone's involvement next season, firstly will he be fit?
does anyone think he will make the first 11 or used more in a jake livermore role? {Ed037's Note - I'm not sure really mate, but i'd imagine he won't be fit for pre-season. I'm sure someone else will know a bit more!}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He is fully fit now.

Agree0 Disagree0

See this is a tricky one ..... His passing his ability is great .... And it is something we missed .... I mean really missed in the last two 3 months
Then again Livermore has been coming along alright I think
I imagine next years europa Leuage squad
Will have these two at the heart of the mid field .... I love huddlestone personally .... I don't know why people think he isn't good enough ....

Hi Spurs fan, a fan from another EPL club, but to get you over your CL heartbreak i found something you might find funny, fresh off Ars's page. The amount of BS in it is more than in every pig farm in the world.

there are 3 clubs monitoring and are very interested in signing alex song..
barcelona, real madrid and inter milan...
i have been told that milan are leading the spanish clubs with there interest so far...
wenger is willing to do business with any of the 3 clubs if they are willing to do a cash + song to bring in a top class attacking midfielder..
i have been told wenger is willing to add 10-15 million towards any transfer plus the 20-25 million he expects to get for song..
wenger is hoping he will be able to attract a marquee signing and is willing to give that player around 140-150k and hoping 1 of them will join for a footballing reason not for money...

there is a very good chance that a deal for wesley sniejder could happen if they can sort out a deal on wages, this is why rvp contract has been put on hold he wants to see what players will be brought in...

as i have stated we are very interested in
goetze and are looking to do a deal involving bentdner and arshavin+cash..
song+cash for sniejder
song+cash for iniesta

getting back to hazard deal,,arsenal matched the top bid for him,but he decided to go for money not football.you cant blame me for that, every 1 knows we made 2 big bids for him..

there will be a huge marquee signing coming to us this summer, be patient

This is their idea of optimism. Personally, i think it wins an award for biggest BS on the site. Agree with me?
Good luck next season.

That has just brightened up my day, after 7 years of wining nothing and buying bad players, they suddenly think that this could happen?

thanks for the laugh dude

And I thought we were dreamers

Agree3 Disagree0

If you go to the Arsenal page ya wont find that :L so funi

Agree0 Disagree4

Songs not even that good a dm. once every ten games or so he does one of those chip passes to assist rvp and all of a sudden he's 'great' again. Would rather have sandro. defo cheered me up

Ahaha no worries lads
Original poster

In all honesty ..... I know this sounds pessimistic and defeatist .... But the last couple months I've just had ..... Not just with spurs and football etc anyway ... I really don't see why we are laughing at them when we have yet to sign anyone big ..... Anyone at all actually ..... And also dreamed of players like hazard only a few months ago ourselves .....
All in all ..... I just fear for our summer ....
A very down

MATE YOU ARE A LEGEND!! that is the funniest thing i have seen in ages, for a start Song worth 25m, i dont think so!
secondly Wesley or Iniesta would never even consider going to Arsenal, they are currently 1st team players in far better squads!

Agree1 Disagree0

Bear Yod dont be defeatist......this post was made by a Spud in the first place. Glad it made you all laugh......Mind the Gap.......

Agree1 Disagree0

How's Sneijder in a much better squad? Inter Milan finished 6th in a weaker league and didn't qualify for champions league. Although I agree the original post was stupid and far fetched it was no worse than the crap The Oracle spouts on your page

Time to revisist the Rossi talk. Villareal will have to offload him cheaply and he wont wont to play second division. Act now Levy or miss out cos if we dont sign him someone else will.
BlueSpur

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Completely agree the Rossi USED to be a great player but 2 serious knee injures in a row, even if he were 5m still be a massive gamble, have to remember that he struggled in England before. Personally wouldn't touch him unless the fee was closer to 2m but more likely Villareal would want around 12m for what was their star player

THFC4EVER

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the fact that he re injured his anterior cruciate ligament in April and will out for further 10 months should be a cause for concern, we dont want to have another injury prone player on our hands.

First of all lets keep modric! A lot of people saying he should be sold surely if we want to be known as one of the biggest clubs we shouldnt have to sell players to bring in other players. Luka may not have had the greatest season last year but if we bring in demebele he can put pressure on modric and vdv and we will see what some people seem to forgot the luka modric who got player of the year in 2010-2011 and was world class. Then complete the vertoglen deal and hopefully sign a world class striker. Also not to sure what other people think but would like to know, its just a suggestion when dawsons fit and if lennon gets injured to play dawson and vertoglen cbs with kaboul at right back and give kyle walker a try at rm. kyle walker had a great season at rb last year so it might be a risk but he doesnt seem to diffrent to when bale was a left back and maybe it would be worth a try, just a thought what do you all think might be ridicioulous lol?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I actually agree about giving Walker a shot at right wing, but with Naughton behind him, Walker loves to get forward and has a good shot and would wouldn't shy away from defensive duties. But I really think Modric needs to go after last summer and then the poor season its obvious he wants to go and there is no point keeping players who don't want to be there. Only way I'd keep modric is if he pubically came out and says he wants to stay and that last year was a mistake but that ain't gonna happen.

THFC4EVER

Agree2 Disagree1

THFC4EVER he didn't have a particularly bad season. If you look at relevent stats you see that once again he was one of the best midfielders in the premiership

Redknapp is a quality manager, look what happened when we got rid of our last top manager Jol and the affect it had on us. Harry implored Levy not to sell out last year and we have got consistent top 5 for the first time, if we were offered that under Ramos you would have been insane not to take it
