I don't have a source but this is just a theory.
Now that We know Ade will be off soon does that mean we have sorted out another striker to come in this January....maybe Damaio will finaly be our player after 3 years of monitoring. Let's hope Levy can pull off a magical deal soon as we can't be relying on Defoe for the remainder of this season, too oftenly the man goes missing in
games.

Eds or anybody: Just something that has come to mind... Should me make a cheeky loan bit for luka just until the end of the season..This would help us to stamp out status on the top 4 this season, without rushing and paying over the odds for players in the January market...he is having a mare in Spain looooool
mr g {Ed008's Note - Not a bad shout!

I would rather die than see that chappie back in the beautiful liliywhite of my beloved SpurS

May cost us a pre-contract for Bale going the other way in the summer ...or if we know he is going for sure use it as leverage now.

Chappie (isnt that a dog food) Lilliywhite what a spelling mistake from a so called Spurs fan (bet he dosent even own a season ticket), if Modric ever came back which i doubt very much as his agent will try and move him on for a transfer fee - if Madrid want rid then i would welcome him because 1, he is better than Hudd, 2, he is better than Carroll, 3, he is better than Livermore, and 4 he was outstanding for most of his Spurs career end OF

Good shout. I'd love to have Luka back. Before people start moaning, the transfer fiasco regarding modric was no different to robbie keane and Liverpool. The only player that caused a real problem for us was Berba.
Look, if Lukas willing to come back and fight for the club that made him then who are we to argue. The man always gave his all for spurs there's no doubting that.

Agree2 Disagree4

U seem to be forgetting the start of last season when he refused to play against united then he was forced to play against city and was subbed because he kept giving the ball away to them on purpose as he wanted to go chelsea and then did not play till the transfer window closed he did a berbtov.

Agree4 Disagree1

I'd rather have Modric back than see him play for city or chelsea.

You really should grow up i don't hold a season ticket but i go to about 20 games a home away and europe and travel over 150miles each way to home games and have been doing so for25 years. And i would not want modric back he chose to go to Madrid as he thought the grass was greener but it not. As for Thud and Livermore they will be sold because the way the club is moving forward they are not good enough. The club is more important than any player and they should remember that.

Agree4 Disagree1

Well said Wulf!
Would you rather Modric go play for city, utd or chelsea and make them much stronger?
I think modric now knows that the grass isn't always greener at another club and if he were to come back Im almost certain he will never disrespect us again. He has learnt a huge lesson here.
Modric on loan?....... He'll yes

Agree2 Disagree1

Real would not sell to a so called rival unless they were making a profit and tbh no team in there right mind would pay 30 mil + for him when there are much better and cheeper alternatives.

Anyone else finding it really refreshing having a transfer window where we don't have a manager hanging out of every window possible, throwing cryptic clues around and getting involved in everything he possible can.

Nice to have AVB calm, collected, hes obviously identified his targets to Levy very early on, and all he's left to do from there is manage the squad of players he has.

Not really a rumours just a passing comment. What does everyone prefer Harrys mad last minute overly ambitious transfer windows that ended in disappointment or the way AVB has gone about things?

(dont think we can include summer window as AVB as he hadn't had his time to settle and hadn't gathered the squad he wanted yet)

I like Avb approach rather then the teases Harry constantly done.
Harry - " we want aguero, Teves and that guy".....Outcome - Saha & Nelson.

AVB - " we have a great squad ".....outcome - highly rated younsters fryers & Hotby.

Enough said.
