Why is it when the oracle stops posting Spurs get bad results.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Been a lot of discussion on here about luck lately.
The chavs 2 goals today.
Enough said really.

i just can't help to hate the fact that if we had beaten liverpool and fulham and won today against everton, we would have been 2nd. the europa league is costing us and we will probably get knocked out on thursday. i'm still keeping the faith but its slowly fading. COYS!

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Not just eufa league costing us.
To many dropped home points again that ad nothing to do with euro league.
No home win from stoke Wigan Fulham Norwich WBA has done us. We have bern very inconsistent all season. We are where we are because of a run of 10 wins from 12 games earlier in the season. I have a funny feeling we will go through again on Thursday and then draw the chavs. The good thing is, luckily, top 4 is still in our hands, just but I personally think it as gone now.

Agree3 Disagree1

^^^ Do you qualify for Eufa if you finish 6th

Agree0 Disagree0

It's short sighted to be blaming our failings on european competition. The truth is we desparately WANT to be playing in europe. Granted, not in the competition we're actually in this season, but when we're playing in the CL can you imagine complaining that being IN the CL is harming our prospects for qualifying FOR the CL.

We NEED european experience. And we'll be playing against better sides next season too.

Agree2 Disagree0

You must be. Bit short sighted. I read the comments above explaining why, in some opinions, it's not Europa league that has cost us but, again, a terrible home record against the lower teams in the premiership.
What's good beating Manchester United away if you can't beat the likes of the teams named above at home.

looking shakey spurs, arsenal are coming to get you!!!

Believable8 Unbelievable2

You would look shakey with bale Lennon and sandro missing from your midfield.
They would all walk into your team.
You and the chavs will get top 4 because your squads are better than ours. Our first 11 is far superior to yours and now we are paying for a ack of investment in our squad.
I personally have loved the ride this season. Shame about the injuries but that's football.
Good luck in the CL next season. No doubt we will see you in the Europa with us when the CL really gets underway.

COYS.

Agree2 Disagree7

We aren't looking shakey. We have been this consistent all season.
We haven't given anyone a good going over all season.
As stated below, we accumulated 3 points from the home games with stoke, Fulham, Wigan, Norwich and west brom.
If we was having such a great season we would be comfortably in 2nd now. Bar man utd, every team has been shakey all season. We have all been as bad as each other. We have accumulated a lot of points by hanging on away from home and getting 9 wins. If only our home form was as good.

Agree0 Disagree1

Sandro would by no means 'walk' into our team.

I think you're over-hyping your own players a bit too much.

Ted

Agree5 Disagree6

Oh I think he would. Cazorla and wilshire I would have but can honestly say I wouldn't change any others. Our strikers are crap but maybe podolski is the better of all of our strikers together.

Agree1 Disagree1

Guess they can't walk anywhere at the moment can they?

So are you saying that you only have three good players in your entire squad?

I think you're being generous, you only have Bale!

COYG

Agree5 Disagree1

I'm saying if our 2 teams where one, that only cazorla and wilshire would get in. Maybe a striker.
Keeper lloris easily.
1st choice back 4. Ok. Maybe your left back. Gibbs is it?
Bale Lennon sandro wilshire cazorla pick themselves.
Podolski/ade?
Our strikers are as bad as each others.

I am bitterly disappointed. We leak goals like a sieve. How many clean sheets have we had all season from almost 50 games. One up at home against an Everton team missing Pieenar and Fellaini and we fall 1-2 behind. Ade was good today. I am afraid that Bale's form has papered over the cracks all season. I am still not convinced about AVB. He has made strange decisions all season and taking off Dembele's today was very strange. Arsenal are in pole position now for third with our hopes depending very much on Chelsea blowing up.

The Don

Believable7 Unbelievable1

You are forgetting we were without Bale, Lennon, Defoe, Sandro and Kaboul. These players would have made the difference. Everton are no push overs. You are also forgetting that the equaliser came after AVB's changes.

McYid

Agree6 Disagree6

Nope, again we lost a goal through individual errors! the mix up between Caulker and Parker (i think) allowed Merilas to run through and score. With the most un-attacking bench in the premier league today I think AVB done well with the changes!

Agree2 Disagree2

I think this is a wake up call. We have had a good season. In my opinion, top 4 is all but gone and so is the Europa league.
We have had some bad results at home but one great results away.
Us and Everton are on a par with each other. We are the 5/6th best teams in th league. If you take away the Manchester United game at old Trafford then we are I think where we should be.
We always flirt with greatness but we aren't good enough to keep that going.
I think bale will stay next season and we are a couple if signings away from challenging higher but I remember saying this at the start of January.

COYS.

Agree3 Disagree0

Furthermore, 3 points at home from the Wigan, stoke, WBA, Norwich and Fulham games explains the whole story of our season.

COYS.

Agree2 Disagree0

Agree fully with cosy. 12 points dropped at home from those 5 games is the real reason we are struggling now. If we had picked up even 6 more points from those fixtures then we would have been able to ride out our later injury crisis. Also, don't forget we were one up away to Everton going in to injury time and two one up against pool and coasting and got 0 instead of 6 points. We are not ruthless enough and our defence does not know what a clean sheet is. I have posted here on numerous occasions that a great team is founded on a solid defence. We need to start at the back and MUST get a creative mid fielder.

Thudd looking good since he came on, poor decision to take dembele off! Dempsey has been shocking! Need to put cellebos on! Why prepare BAE when we have a striker on he bench?

Thfcmatt

Believable3 Unbelievable0

This match once again has shown that Dempsey is a bigger waste of money than Ade was, at least Ade tried! He wasn't much good but tried! And why take Dembele off, our best player with Vert!
So Mr tight arse Levy, what happens at the end of this season? Are you still going to keep the purse strings zipped and let us down again?

It's begun! Goodbye champs league football it was nice dreaming & then having u in touching distance: (

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Considering avb lost luka and rvv with no january signings, without younis, sandro, for large part of season, and the injuries we have at present, plus tight arse levy, I for one think avb has done an admirable job, let's hope those in charge finally realise to get any where we have to spend a few bob. if we dnt get cl football, I for one won't be blaming avb.

Sorry can I just ask why you guys call Chelsea 'The Chavs' when they're located in the most upper class borough of London, just doesn't make sense to me.

Warren The Evertonian.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

The club is in that area but the fans aren't.
They are the biggest bunch of layabouts and wannabe hard nuts. They drip with gold and act as though they own everything. Hence 'the chavs'.

Massive game today, unlucky time of the season to be struck down by injuries and I am trying to stay positive and hope we'll have to much for Everton at home, I know we are missing Bale, Lennon and Defoe, but I would hope that with Dembele and fingers crossed overdue performances from Ade and Dempsey and that's be honest we know on his day Ade is almost unplayable, this coupled with a solid performance from the back 5 of Lloris, Walker, Naughton, Dawson and Vertonghen will hopefully be to much for a weakened Everton who are missing players just as important to them in the form of Fellani and Pienaar also could be missing meralis (Excuse spelling) its going to be a tough game but I feel if we win today it will end Evertons charge for a top 4 spot and only leaves us with the Chavs and Goons battling for 3rd and 4th.

I think AVB and the team deserves a bit of luck and hopefully we will get some over the next few weeks.
