Revolving door time at Levy's yacht with a succession of agents arriving in row boats and being lined up for a grease laden rubdown or a severe beating, I digress:

Zaha - he's sexy and he knows it, we're knocking at his door, offering his parents a two bed semi in Newcastle as a sweetener and bought Steve Parish a stand up tanning booth to push the deal through.

Damaio - he'd already be playing for us, but he's holding out for a contract clause preventing Sandro from bringing his guitar round to his house and his agent wasn't impressed with the "man from Del Monte" jokes that Levy keeps chucking in to negotiations.

Moutinho - almost there, busy Mr.Levy is just finalising a financial package to stabilise the Portuguese economy which should see Joao (an old school friend from my days in the Algarve) in our colours before too long, he'll initially be staying with Andre as he's only little and gets lost easily in unfamiliar surroundings.

In other news, Huddlestone isn't happy with his overall rating on FIFA13...Steffen Freund has challenged Steve Bould to a Jagerbomb contest...and finally, Bentley has again fallen out of favour after the club refused his request to go on ITV's "Splash". In fairness to ITV they didn't know he was still an active player, whilst Bentley believes the clubs management are holding back his career...

Regardless of ade going to togo i think we need a new striker anyway, and with strong links saying we are in for damaio (even SS says teams are enquiring for damaio, which ive mentioned before i can only really trust SS) i am quite excited to see if we will make a move.

WHAT you mean you don't trust Oracle who has said this for years. i am shocked.....lol. he is spouting that we are gonna sign Damiao, Willian and moutinho and all for 60 mill...what planet is he from. we should see if Barca want to swap messi for livermore and they give us 50 mill.

trying to be serious though we do need a quality striker who will ake some of the chances that we keep creating, please DL (and not owen or someone else on the cheap like last Jan).

Knowing Levy he's putting another classic deal together and this will be a classic.

Everyone's getting excited and thinking we're going to sign Zaha.

What will actually happen is we will re-sign Louis Saha.

its reported in the sunday paper we are in for damiao for 15 million plus gomes and that internacionale have accepted the bid also they say we are back in for mouthino i know they are only papers looking for stories but is there any truth in this potential deal ed or are the reporters just being lazy again

We were interested the last two windows but never made the move. I make no claim of a transfer pending.

Loic Remy is available for ~11m euro = 9m
Not a bad deal for a forward/winger...although he is underperforming atm. Anyone think he would be a good acquisition? Wait for Willian? Thoughts?

I think we can aim a little higher. I think there was an opportunity for remy to sign last year but the move broke down. This ship has sailed now.

1. Internacional are willing to accept a £15million + player bid for Damiao. This would suit all parties involved, Internacional getting the money they want, Damiao achieving European football, Gomes getting regular fooball and us getting the player we have craved over for years and The Oracle being able to shove smug humble pie right in our dirty, incorrect faces. Highly unlikely surely?

2. Real Madrid will offer Gareth Bale an escape route from the diving controversy surrounding him (yep this story for the umpteenth time).

3. Spurs and Manchester United are going face to face over the signing of wonder kid Wilfried Zaha. Apparently we have the upper hand because we have offered to loan him back, along with some other players.

4. Daniel Levy is supposedly to be going back to sign Joao Moutinho after we failed miserably to get him in the summer, in a CUT PRICE move. Apparently Levy is going to argue that his value has depreciated over the last few months and hopefully persuade the Porto hierarchy to sell.

So what does anyone else think of any of these? Most likely to be fake rumours there to just cause a reaction, but hey.

Ed, should we go for the german future stars?

e.g Marco reus, mario goetze, andre shurllre? all are very good! what you think? {Ed013's Note - Great talent and would do well at Spurs}

All mentioned are too expensive for LEvy. Chelsea bid like 20-25m for shurrle and the bid was turned down

Would love to see Goetze at spurs but realistically I can't see it being a Levy style signing.

I think spurs would do well with his presence and think he would do well progressing with spurs.

I would also love to see spurs try for Matt (Mats?) Hummels.

Think he would be a great injury cover/rotational player for Kaboul.
