Mr g, you need to have a rest mate! Its our best start to a league season, we're through to the last 8 of the league cup albeit on penalties but WE ARE THROUGH! And going strong in europe!

When is Lamela gona come good. He looks like a player who dnt Want to be here. I mean the boy can't even score a pen.
You have to give the guy time. He is only 21 and he came from Serie A so it may take a season for him to settle in which is why AVB is doing this slowly. He don't even talk English. I mean it takes longer than 3 months to settle down and learn English! He will become good trust me.
The worlds best have missed from the spot. Give the boy a chance.

Also he hit a good free kick which required an outstanding save. I hope/think he will be one of the best the lane has ever seen

Poor again tonight. Only one striker available(none on the bench?). AVB is obviously not going to change his tactics and Adda does not figure in his plans. I wonder what the excuse will be tonight. If we can not score goals it is only a matter of time until we start slipping down the table. Sorry for being so negative but I am bitterly disappointed.
Avb is clueless.
Correction to earlier post, didn't notice Harry Kane on team sheet.
You guys don't cut any slack do you! We signed lots of players and have a massive squad which is being rotated so the players do not get knackered come the end of the season.
We are still settling in as we have a big squad. Townsend has stepped up and will take time to have the end product (ie start getting his wayward shots on targets).
Lamela will come good, when he can speak English and got a home etc (which takes a while trust me as I'm trying to move) then he will be quality.
Don't forget we lost a world class player who is probably the third best player in the world, this is meant to the season for transition and maybe get 4th but we are 3 points off the lead at the moment, in the quarter finals of the league cup and nearly through the group stages of Europa league. Not too bad I would say. Also we are keeping clean sheets as well!
November is a big time for many clubs as many of them are playing each other. I would say that we need a big game so knit together the progress we have made so far.
Give it til January then see where we are. If we are playing badly and still winning then wait until we start playing well!

Yes I am Dave. It ain't just me that questions his tactics and subs. Some of our play is painful to watch. Hull played 442 lastnight and Avb had no answers. This is a Hull team missing quite a few players aswell. We play too slow and too narrow, it isn't rocket science.

With tonights game against Hull, a team we struggled to beat a few days ago, I wonder if AVB after his outburst, will use this game to maybe use a different formation and some fringe players

Agree but I wouldn't play Vert at LB! Couldn't Siggy play there? Good tackler, and quicker than Vert! I think we need to bed Vert and Vlad in together as much as poss as hopefully they will become our first choice CB's!
