Dave,

Without Bale play fantastic for us and grabbing an £86m price tag. we wouldn't have the squad we do this season.

How about showing some respect.

What like the respect madrid showed us through the whole transfer saga, my god man get agrip. I bet you were one of the people going on about reals tactics in the way they used every trick in the book to get him. respect, like getting all your players to say "how good it would be with bale here" and "bale would be a great addition to this squad" and getting the marca to tell him his wage structure or selling bale shirts before a deal is done. they are very bad mannered and show no-one respect so I will not respect them. I stand by my words that they got what they deserved exactly. I agree that bale is a legend as far as spurs was and will be, but I said nothing against bale or do you need to read the post again. as said nuff respect to bale (loved him) but he has gone but no respect at all for madrid not after that debarcle of a transfer

Yes Bale did well for us, and we got a very good price for him, but not because of him, but dare I say it, because of Levy!
I loved him at Spurs, but don't give a flying f**k now, even if he is injured, not because he left, but the way he went about it! Yes we owed him, but boy did he owe us supporters as well! Then like a spoilt little brat, he sneaked off to line his pockets with the biggest bunch of dishonest t***s about! Couldn't even turn up to watch his team mates and club, who helped him and stood by him when he was literally rubbish at the start of his career with us! Then, he stuck two fingers up at the supporters who adored him and couldn't even say bye to them! I for one couldn't care if he is injured, nor if the whole experience goes tits up for him and he becomes another failure at Madrid!

Gotta agree with DD here!

RM have and always will play dirty tricks to unsettle players. They behave like the mafia.

It's about time they were reprimanded.

Bale will always be remembered at Spurs. Still his own actions throughout the transfer leave a lot to be desired.

Onwards and upwards!

Come On My Beloved Spurs.

Ps how many Daves are on here!

Just need a chas now.

Sorry to jump in here another Dave ;) both Spanish "giants" as they are called are the worst when it comes to transfers they have very little respect for any club they buy from to be honest they make me sick.

FIFA do Sweet f all about it that's why (with all there success) I think they let themselves down two classless clubs.

The stuff real pulled with ye on the bale deal was sickening I was delighted levy held out and that pathetic person Perez had to pull down his stage two fingers to you. As a gooner don't get me started on barca another shower of persons.

Oh and before I go fair play on your start to the season look forward to good banter between us.

Too true dave 6 too true. I always liked madrid not so bad with the modric sale, he wanted to go (obviously) and they bought him for a fair price but the way they courted bale through their mouthpiece the marca was criminal and I lost all interest and respect for them I hope they finish third this year not for taking bale but the way they took him. good banter and you did get ozil out of the deal so you should be happy with that bit of business with the spanish

phew, the old gareth bale injury situation nearly affected us, fortunately we have 100 million and real have a crock. lucky lucky spurs without bale (as he would be injured for us) and no new signings we might not be where we are now, but we are. someone, during bthe great should we or shouldn't we sell him debate said if we don't sell him and he gets injured we would end up with nothing, well we did sell him and now madrid have sold ozil they have nothing and we are laughing all the way to the bank. I am so pleased madrid got what they wanted and deserved

How the hell do you know that he would be injured now if he hadn't left Spurs?

I for one am really disappointed that he's injured. I'm desperate to see what Real can do with a fully fit Bale and Ronaldo. We've got a lot of money for him and I'm delighted about that; I actually THANK Bale for the signings we've made.

I could never laugh about him being injured; he's a wonderful player that gave me some amazing memories as a Spurs fan.

Spud, says it all in the name. I don't want to fall out but read the post again mate. I loved bale but detest real for there transfer behaviour der I wasnt laughing at him being injured I was laughing at the fact we got a dream squad and real got an injured player see the difference. and as for seeing him perform for real I would sooner concentrate on the here and now in my team the mighty spurs not a spanish side that exploits all transfer policies etc
