all the other big clubs are signing quality players and linked with big names we on the other hand are signing john o shea and 34 year old cambiasso come on spurs get splashing on top players otherwise it will be a poor season again

I disagree.

I wouldn't call last season poor. We finished just where we deserved to. We are not CL standard just yet.

You should be making that post after we have actually signed someone.

SpursDave, I don't know what you were watching but last season was very poor.

Yes the chances were that we would need time to gel but with the players we brought we should of been in the mix. Lots of opposing fans said the same, on here, when we brought Lamela and co.

Spurski - I have to agree with SpursDave, We finished where we should have finished. You cannot expect to bring in 7 players & expect them to gel in a new team & new country.

We also have to take into account the style of football we played under AVB & Tim. Very slow & slightly attacking football took ages for the team to move up & down the pitch. let's see Mauricio Pochettino style - It seems he plays the attacking football with pace, so hopefully our players will adapt to that. We should judge after this season in my opinion.
