On the news earlier today there was scouser outside Anfield talking to a reporter about kenny Dalglish saying you should never go back blah blah blah & so on, reporter then asked him who he wanted to replace kenny? Scouser Rafa Benitez priceless, what a donut
Espur

And he's probably one of the clever ones!

Lads start off by sayinng I'm an Arsenal, bu i really hope you guys get into the euro league next year . The way Chelsea , Man. Utd. and now City go about their buisness, (paying silly money and wages for players) has totally destroyed the game. We all hear about fair play coming into place soon. The only teams that will be affected will be the minnows. FIFA/EUFA havent got the balls to tackle City ,Chelsea , or Utd. let alone Barcelona or Madrid, so we all know this is just a load of hot air.
Anyway good luck for sat. night.....Come on the Bayern
Paul Belfast

In uniteds defence, they are the most successful club in terms of commercial turnover...

Those yanks bought the club with uniteds own money and thats the reason why they are in so much debt.. pretty despicable really.

Well you do pay silly over the top wages like rooney 225 000 per week without him ur nothing

Alright lads Man United fan here( & yes i am from Manchester). What do you mean United have got a sugar daddy, those hillbillys t***ers have taken over £400million pounds out of our coffers, money that we generate ourselves by developing our own young players & buying 1 maybe 2 promising players a season, again with our own money.Get your facts right!!. The only thing i do agree with in your post is your hatred of the Arabs whores(city). MIDDLETON RED

Thanks paul it's good to hear this from footba fans ... Aresenal ... Spurs ... Everton ... And very possibly Newcastle * although they do have rich owners they have just bought smartly * are the only teams in the top 8 that are actually run without needing sugar daddy owners ... It's disgusting to see that man city won via buying the leauge ... I'd rather see yourselves win than city as I can't really describe the detest I have for them ... Whereas if there was no arsenal spurs banter page would be not as fun xD

Just to change the subject a bit , what's your thoughts on the England squad ? Was thinking of going to one match at least , but dont think its worth it now ! Nearly all of the so called golden generation still there , plus one or two exceptional crappy players from liverpool , etc etc . Wondered who chose the squad ? If this is the new generation for us , then is Fabio pulling the strings from afar ?
Davo

Davo I agree fully ... With a few exceptions
Ie Parker * although hes injured so what the hell * Defoe baines chamberlain Lescott Walcott Cahill hart I think that's it .... The rest of the squad need replacing ....
But at least the FA are saving themselves money by getting a below average manager

hey eds is there any truth behind the berbatov rumour?

Also do you think Remy or Giroud would be the first choice for the tottenham staff in an ideal world?

I see nicky shorey been released by WBA today. Worth a punt as LB cover. Any thought??

Jeezzzzz.......Set you sights a bit higher than that lads, the LB posistion is an area which we really do need to address, and a club (hopefully) playing CL football next season will need more than what this guy could offer us!

If we loaned rose out to a prem team and he'd be garunteed first team football for development ... Then perhaps if it was last option available

What i have heard:
Vertonghen - happy to move just waiting on the two teams to agree a fee.

Remy - interested, but we have not entered any detailed discussion

Hoilett - 100% joining within the next couple of weeks

Kagawa - Intrested but he looks set for united

Pienaar - set to leave for a fee of £3.5M

Defoe - Handing in transfer request

Spurs Lad

Hoilett I've not heard that I've heard he has got about 10 teams after him because he's decent and young and the fee will be minimum I'm guessing from the tribunal
Verghonten i keep reading conflicting reports ie that we have raised the offer to what they wanted and they then wanted more then heard reports of its still the same
Kagawa said he wants man u
Peinaar will probably leave
And the same with Defoe

I would say all transfer activity going on at the mo, hoillet excluded, depends on Saturdays results.
I will bet anyone now that vertonghen will be wearing red next season if Saturday's outcome goes against us.

Remy is quality. good thing is he can play on either wing.... im thinking good cover for aaron lennon if he gets injured again.

very excited over big Jan... hope that happens.. big spurs fan although arsenal and now newcastle fans are clinging on to hope.

gallas will be leaving, likely to the usa. modric waved goodbye after the fulham game.... expect to see VDV dropped more centrally and us go for another striker. berbatov if we get CL is a good punt on a 1-2 yr deal. or someone like grant holt, harry likes a big man up top.

need to buy a young keeper who can learn off brad for the next year. vorm or krul will want first team football. id get rid of friedel, he lacks real movement although there is no doubt he is a great shot stopper.

one player i would like to see at the lane is Pedro, perhaps dembele, kolo toure and of course young jordan rhodes.

Id like al habsi from wigan as gk with friedel youngster at dinamo zagreb called kovacic ( i believe thats how you spell it) 18yrs old looks good still like us to try push for Damiao even though juve is his desired club think we can still get him. (lots of pace) caulker and jan as cb's with kaboul and dawson pushing. Ba from newcastle would add goals and berbatov good hold up player and natural goal scorer. not sure remy could cut it in epl but need right sided cover for lennon though dos santos should be pushed more.
