So rumours of advanced talks with Pochettino, well IMO he is NOT what we need. We need a PROVEN manager with vast experience. Guus Hiddink is my preferred option but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter as the manager will get the sack for BALDINIS failings!
I believe we need a manager to do the job NOT a director of football. He may go and get the players the manager likes but not necessarily prefers and yet he stays and the manager gets the boot again its crazy! Why is it that the DoF primarily picks the players he thinks the team wants/needs? why not just make Baldini the manager and be done with it? At least that way I know he will be gone very soon lol

Looks like it's Pochettino, it's got every chance of disaster being written all over it I think. Can this guy really coach a top 4-6 club players to improve? So far he's managed 8th with Southampton and, although that's a good achievement for them, one thing obvious from the decreasing number of points required to stay in the league is that the gap between top few and the rest is getting bigger.
Obviously I hope and pray he ends up being a revelation but, something tells me we can be a bit better next year as a result of new players settling and hold our own but after that will still be the test of his mettle.

Well I'm happy but just hope and pray the Spurs faithful now get with the programme plus give him time! The negativity around this appointment does worry me.
I will also say I tend to leave the LVG and Anchelotti rumours to the fantasists, no top name manager would touch us at the moment, fact! If we manage to get into the top 4 again and the new stadium is build then I will start to entertain top name manager rumours. don't get me wrong I would love to have seen a big name appointment but I do not believe Levy has penny pinched, they simply wouldn't come!
Please lads get behind Poch, I have a really good feeling about this guy

Why would Martinez drop to a lower club. He is on the verge of doing suming great at everton. Michael laudrup would be a good option for spurs tries to play free flowing attractive football and has a lot of connections

Drop to a lower club your having a laugh. Tottenham are miles bigger than Everton. I could buy a season ticket for Everton tonight whereas Tottenham have a 45,000 waiting list! Work it out and swallow that bitter pill.

Hit a nerve did I spurski the league table shows that you are a lower club look at how the club is run you spent over a 100 mil on a lot of rubbish.

Also spurski this the same club who have a smaller stadium than goodison park so technically u have a 10000 season ticket waiting list

Your talking nonsense, you make no sense.

Umm snowball I do believe your maths is well off. Everton currently have a 40,000 seat stadium and spurs currently have a 36,000 seat stadium so if you take off the 4000 then that would equal a 41,000 waiting list, which by our stadium size would mean we could fill our stadium twice just with season ticket holders alone (with 5000 still missing out). Maybe I misunderstood, please explain?

What I mean is if spurs have 45000 season ticket waiting list and the stadium is 36000 say then 36000 of those 45000 will get there season ticket therego only 9000 left. And back to spurski in what way r spurs a bigger club than Everton?

Snowbar I think you miss the point mate. We have a capacity of 36 000 with an additional 45 000 waiting for season tickets. That's 71 000 buddy! That's why we are a bigger club than Everton. I ll buy you an abacus and send it up ;-)

Get your meaning now so because u have 71000 people wanting season tickets that make spurs a bigger club. Spending millions each season n coming away with nowt yeah that's the makings of a bigger club. Won just about as much as Everton over the last 20 years also how do spurs guys know exactly how many season tickets Everton sell each season and that they don't have a waiting list?

We don't know Snowbaw. Enlighten us with some facts and figures mate? Are Everton planning a brand new stadium to cram your thousands in? I actually admire Bill Kenwright on what he has done at your club on a limited budget but to call yourself a bigger club than Spurs is stretching it! We ll beg to differ on that one ;-)

Seemingly poch is willing to sign a new deal at Southampton, but only if he can keep his big players. Personally I think we will get conte from juve as baldini will have contacts in Italy. Tbh I couldn't care who we get as manager as long as one is appointed soon so we can kick on as a club and buy/sell some players
