Any thoughts on Papiss Cisse as a striking option? Heard we might outbid Blackburn for him. He was on fire in the Bundesliga last season.

Right, Im getting a bit hacked off with all of this.
Ive got no issues with Gooners or Rats coming over here and giving us all an education into how superior their clubs are because i don't care about them or their clubs. We are far too preoccupied ( and im as guilty as the others) of responding to their pathetic posts, created solely to get a reaction, which , because of our own stupidity, we give them.
Ladies and gents, it has to stop, we have class, ignore the scum, just ignore them they are pointless, d*ckless and have such boring clubs to support, they need to be here instead of on their own forum. I mean, would you REALLY want to be at Anfield when you could be at WHL? So why would you want to go onto the Liverpool forum when you could be on the Spurs one? Get the drift?

My next point has been bubbling away in me for a while. Basically, If we don't start pulling our fingers out, maybe Mr Lewis/Levy would like to sell the club on to people that will move us forwards? Im sick to death of hearing about New Stadiums, wage caps and the like from a club that has a fantastic fan base, is profitable, wealthy and has spent so much over the years to acheive so little.
Olympic stadium? What utter b*llocks! Why buy up real estate around the ground if you have no intention of rebuilding the ground there? Why not speak to the councils in charge of the boroughs/counties that are on the outside of the M25 to discuss the possiblity of bringing the club to their manor? I just do not understand the inner workings of Mr Levy, somebody who accuses the scum of tapping up Modric yet, without ANY shadow of a doubt heads a club that has done its fair share of that too. Why? Because they ALL do it! I don't doubt that we will make a major signing before the window closes BUT, i really think it won't be enough, nobody at WHL is really going to push the boat out, take a punt and bring in the three to four players we really need. Levy will play hardball over the goings of the players we don't need and we will be lumbered with more than we wanted and we will continue to loan out players that we either A) really need in our squad or B) will never be good enough so why the f**k don't we sell them? There doesn't seem to be any plan now, nobody has turned around and said "3 seasons to get in the top four, 5 to win the title" There seems to be nothing written down, nobody has been tied down to any kind of plan, its all up in the air.
Im f*cked if im going out to buy the new shirt when I don't even know who is going to be wearing it on the pitch! Why should i? Am i really going to spend more money than i can afford following a club that's very actions send out the small club mentality message? Hey, you can love someone but can't be married to them.
Im going to take a wild guess that the usual kn*bheads will come on here and see this as an acknowledgement that "Their club is better than our club" h*rsesh*t but i won't be responding to them (nor should you), its not open to them, they will be ignored, but it is open to us. Am I REALLY wrong about all this?
Super Yid

Are you wrong? yes big time.
Perhaps you would like to make the effort to explain why?

For the Banter section please:

I'm a regular poster on the Arsenal page and usually dismiss fellow Gooners who either offer a reactionary, badly typed response to the tiniest of delusions about what is going on at our club or use it as a ranting forum about how we need to spend 7 billion on players, sack Wenger, raise Elvis from the dead and prove that Aliens who broke free from Area 51 killed JFK. It's actually sad to see them on this page as well as other team's pages (I usually visit most of them just to get a gauge on what is what with each club) for no other purpose than to prove to themselves how big their ***** are via nonsensical playground 'our club is bigger than etc etc etc'. .

So just wanted to say we all aren't like that and whilst I enjoy a healthy intelligent rivalry and obviously want my club to do better than yours, I feel there is nothing better to aim for than a strong, healthy North London challenging that lot at Stamford and those two sets of Mancs up there. It is a real shame Modric's head has been turned and he has been publicly vocal about it. Say what you like about Cesc, he has never came out and taken a dump like that despite everyone who has ever existed in the last 4 million years knowing he want's to go back to Barca. We read all the time about who would replace Cesc should he go, but who would replace Modric? I might be wrong but I always saw Modric doing what Wilshere does (that's not me comparing who is classier), and assisting the assister, the box to boxer who collects the ball and plays it to the AMC (VDV?). Continuity of movement is a vital part of any clubs productivity. Do Spurs have anyone other than Luka to do this? Or can VDV drop deeper? Also, as a Scot, what is the situation with Alan Hutton please? I understand why he isn't rated by a lot and the concensus up here is that he would've made a stunning RW as like a large number of modern fullbacks he can't actually defend to any level at all. If there are any clubs interested in him at EPL level, what are the chances of a move for him because if he comes back to Scotland it would be devastating. Any time a decent Scot is around, I almost pray they move down south to develop their game. Coming back is usually a sign that they prefer the easy life (homesickness is just a crap excuse).

A few more questions if you will indulge me. Do you lot feel there are still possibilities regarding the Olympic Stadium? Obviously, from a purely selfish point of view it would hurt to see Spurs get a new stadium for 'free' after how the debts of The Emirates have crippled us. Do Spurs fans, like the majority of outside the club still feel that this is Harry's stepping stone to the England job, and if so, who if anyone is being earmarked as a replacement? And finally, how has Gallas been? To be honest, if it was just down to playing, we would've kept him but he became such an a******e to the rest of our French players (of which, we have a lot) that his position was all but shot.

Appreciate the time taken to read this and if Modric does go I hope he is the only one of your stars that leave. Like I said, intelligent fair rivalries make football what it is, but a strong North London is a must :)

Ajeno.

I did reply to this, a long winded reply too. Unfortunately it didn't make it onto here, which i assume is down to the change of server ( it got lost in the post ) as, Ive been told before, Eds don't interfere with posts unless they are, say, Racist, libellous etc, etc. . .
As I can't be bothered to write it all again, I will agree with most of what you said, Modric is irreplaceable and Fabregas is a true pro. Its refreshing to see a player respecting the supporters and acting with dignity and professionalism, I think, for that alone, he should be allowed to return home with the best wishes of the club and supporters behind him. Yes, we do need a strong North London rivalry, the gap has closed, not fully but the days when you lot saw us as 6 points in the bank, have long gone. Actually the same can be said of our other top 6 chums which, surely, means that we can't be the "small club" some w*nkers keep accusing us of being, right? Gallas is awesome and Wenger threw the baby out but kept the afterbirth as far as he is concerned all because he spoke his mind and expected other players to give blood on the pitch like he did.If there was such a case of selling you top player to a rival to make them stronger and yourself weaker, that was it. That compounds what ive been banging on and on about: If you have to sell your best players, f**k them off abroad, DO NOT sell them to your rivals, no matter what! Hutton is borderline very good but is average too much, we wouldn't miss him if he left which, really, tells it all. The stadium issue is a joke, we don't want it and there are councils around the M25 Northern side who would welcome us with open arms and some land to build a stadium on ( it would bring sh*t loads of money, kudos and put said town on the map etc. Unfortunately we are, clearly, being bullsh*tted by the Spurs board as we have been told that everything was in place to start the redevelopement but, obviously, its not ready or they wouldn't be tossing about with trying to evict the Spammers. All in all, I have Gooner friends, i hate their club but i like them. I will hate the fact that you support them but respect you for your intelligent and articulate post and the fact that we are both one and the same in that we are both pasionate football supporters. As much as i hate your team, i wish you well and thank you for proving that you are not all c*cks!

I understand that Huddlestone is to join a championship club on a season long loan? The clubs intrested are Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest. My source tells me Huddlestone will choose his home town of Nottingham over Portsmouth.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous rumours I've heard. When fit Tom is a first choice midfielder, he only missed games last season because of injury and was ever present the season before. Even if he had a falling out -which he hasn't- why would he join a championship team when no doubt plenty of PL teams and foreign teams would love to sign him and why would Spurs loan him out instead of selling? I think your source has been smoking something
