I read that Harry won't release Modders to play for Croatia unless he plays in either the Europa match with Hearts or Man City this weekend. Good for you 'Arry. Time to let these people know that they signed a contract with Spurs, and can't just decide to not play for Spurs anymore without consequences. It's time to play hardball, mate.

Can they actually refuse to let the player go ? I thought they could just request them be withdrawn from the team?
However if this is true let this set an example for those players who think they can just throw a fit 1/5 th of a way into there contract

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the term is 'if your not fit enough to play for us, then Croatia is a no go'

Agree1 Disagree1

No they have to release him for internationals

Agree1 Disagree0

If your not fit for club your not fit for country

Watching the Arsenal and the FC Twente games, If that is the atmosphere coming from a ground with a track then we are best off WITHOUT a track, atmosphere is poor IMO. Gl Udinese and Benfica .....

Hope Levy is good for his word and tells chelski where to stick their £30m. More importantly he needs to appease us loyal fans and do some business.

If I'm totally honest I want Modric to go, bring in a player who wants to play.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

At the beginning of this transfer market bonanza, I got fed up with reading about Modric's well documented 'feelings' for wanting to leave THFC for the badlands and although I was really p..sed off with him i would have accepted the move because that's the way it's always been at Spurs. I would have gotten over it, (again), but now as we are close to the end of the market time, I have changed my mind and now want him to buck up and start playing his ass off for us. As a Spurs supporter, I demand he plays to win and respects the club and it's supporter's. I want him grow up to the next level and be the pitch commander. I want you Modric, to make me believe in you again. I do not agree with giving him a better contact 'just for staying' with us. He has a monumental bridge to rebuild.

Rangers fan here again guys (Ger4life) I'm hearing it again, Livermore on loan, surely not, he's quality, and you boys are short in the midfield just now, any rumours similar? anyone in the know?

Thanks lads, Ger4life

In all honesty I think he has a role to play at spurs now ... He showed he can do quite well when against the likes of man u with his first real match in the first team ..
However his appearances may drop when sandro, modric , and the hudd return to fitness .. But I feel is to good to be sent on loan now ....

However you can have jj xD

Agree0 Disagree0

Im guessing it would all hinge on getting Diarra. Personally I'd like to keep Jake at the lane and send you Jenus instead - but then again, no club deserves that punishment.....

Once again, Spurs identify a player and fail to act in time or with sufficient effort to get a signature - case in point? Radamel Falcao, on our books for a couple of seasons, and has now signed a deal with Atletico Madrid. Next miss? Yep, looks like our old friend Damiao from Internacional. You know, the best friend of Sandro, and who plays for that South American crew we have a 'relationship' with? (I have better relationships with my ex-es) Have we stumped up the cash? Of course we haven't, and after goals against the likes of Barca and Real in preseason, his price has doubled. And now Porto - who lost Falcao - are sniffing, with a fresh wad of cash in their hip pocket. Think they'll be as reluctant as we always seem to be? I somehow doubt it, I'm afraid. Levy, please act now and get the likes of Damiao or Llorente in ahead of dummies like Adebayor. Or develop a relationship with that Anzhi crowd in Russia, and see if they'll loan us Eto'o in exchange for Pav Still, things could be worse, we could be about to lose to Udinese tonight..... Fingers crossed for the home team tonight.

Dufus?, very clever, did you come up with that yourself? Every fan regardless of whom they support will tell you that u need to be realistic, of course I would have loved a win but Utd away is the worst fixture of the season, clattenberg or no clattenberg. Instead of crying over the teasing your utd schoolmates are dishing out grow up and get on with it. Mug.

Damiao all the way young and an incredible player. the perfect cover for ade for the rest of the year and someone we could use as our main strikers next year if we don't agree a permanent deal with ade

Hold on guys, whenever we go to OT we NEVER get a result so when we go there with a weakened squad everyone is shocked when we get done? I'm not bothered with the utd game, they won the league last year and spent over 50 mill since, it was on the cards. I have high hopes for us this year regardless of the utd result.

Rufus

Come on fella you are right, we never get a result there and, again, you are right, we turned up with a weakened squad but so did they Sure they have gone out and spent money but Utds defence was straight out of Mothercare and we hardly caused them any real problems It wouldnt be unreasonable to say that their squad was even weaker than ours. i think we have to look at the major issues, we had lots of posession, played lots of pretty football but, when it mattered, we were p*ss poor. I truly wished i shared your optimism but, until i start seeing some good players coming in, im not even confident of finishing in the top 6
I hope you are right rufus, i really do.

Whats up with our guys..i dont know ...just coz manu took more than 70+ mins to score we r ....self satisfying that we were at par with them bull sh*t, had we had any clear chance of goal other than the long shots?

we seem to have forgoten box-box football in that 6 yard area..WHAT WE DO IS BUILT A GOOD PLAY N THEN SHOOOT...(IM NOT SAYING ITS BAD BUT ,IF IT BECOMES PREDICTABLE THEN ITS EASY FOR THEM TO DEFEND , N ALSO STRIKER GETS FRUSTRATED )
