You can't judge a player from youtube, I bet titus bramble looks great on a reel of highlights. 22 goals in 24 games is impressive but how good is the brazil league? How many top players actually play in it, I know of Neymar and Ganso. . . . .

As I said below in my opinion he looks good on'youtube', but also being rated by Sandro and having V.Good teams interested in him must mean something.

1/3rd of the Copa America squad for Brazil is based in Brazil and we all know how good they are so. . .

Where is everybody. . . . .

This is what happens on the tottenham page.

No transfer targets = No comments.

Then they seem to attack in packs when you criticise their team constructively, like "tottenham sucks!" for example.

smh.

If chelsea make another move for Modric then Levy may complain to the PL so I can't really see Drogba or Anelka signing. I really don't think Rossi, Eto, Falcao or any other "superstar" will join as we won't pay the wages and can't offer champs league. The most realistic deals to go through would be Parker, J cole and possibly Forlan. The Leandro deal has dragged on too long and looks dead in the water, is he any better than what we have? I'm not so sure?

Leandro deal is probably not dead but I believe we should see movement on that one from 1st July.

He does look pretty good from what i've seen on You Tube, Sandro rates him highly, and if he also interests a team like Barcelona he can't be all bad. Probably 22 goals in 24 apps in 2011 has helped!

And before you say anything we have a partnership with Internacional which means we get first pick on him. .

Ed008, i have an idea. How about you and Ed022 have a lil showdown debate sorta thing between arsenal and tottenham? We could include posters in it as well?

Up for it? {Ed008's Note - I don't mind a bit of banter but im outnumbered when it comes Arsenal fans vs Tottenham fans out of the Ed's.

"Tottenham, and I hope the English fans will forgive me, are a club in mid-table and I need more" Samuel Eto'o
I hope this will finally put an end to the rumours that etoo will sign for you lot. ha

This is taken from an interview Eto'o gave just before he signed for Inter Milan.

First off; as a Spurs fan - speaking plainly to other spurs fans, If Rossi doesn't get his move to Barca are we really expecting Spurs to be his best next option???!

Have it on good authority that Jenas is not impressed with the proposed move to Turkey.

My thoughts on Modric / Chelsea + Eto'o and squad prediction for 2011/2012:

Chelsea will be able to bring in Falcao + Moutinho for a similar combined amount to that which Spurs would demand for Modric. They already have a surplus of midfielders and forwards, so in order to bring in Modric aswell then it would mean letting go of their established players. They also need to retain their homegrown contingent to meet the Premier League squad quotas as they have little in the way of homegrown quality coming through their ranks. So, I can't see it happening in this window unless they go crazy with the deal and Modric forces the move.

I think we can also forget any chance of Eto'o joining as he is a player who will only consider a club playing Champions League football and challenging for titles. We will also struggle to get anywhere near his wage demands, in what would likely be his last elite long term contract. I suppose we can retain hope that Levy would be able to strike a deal for such a quality player, but hope is all it can be.

For the record, I think we're working one big signing to match the VDV deal of last year and possibly a couple of players from the Premier League and overseas that will be instantly pushing for first team spots. The marquee signing will be an attacker, there will be a centre back, a midfielder or two and another striker(likely to be Leandro Damaio) also coming in. This with the promotion of Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and the already acquired Brad Friedel will complete our first team squad.

Hutton, Jenas, Bentley, Palacios, Bassong, Keane and Crouch will all be allowed to leave.

Colonel scouse sanders gay, you have been put in your place yet again. Im a lil puzzled as to how you have the nerve to critisize spurs after only beating us once in 4years, and that was cos howard webb disallowed defoes goal and denied us a blatant penalty.
Tonytonytone were you the author of the reply to the colonel a few days ago? I thought it was coys but there is a lil confusion as to who wrote it.
Another masterpiece on how to shut up a bitter scouser.
