I would love to see us break the bank for Lukaku. Although I can't see Chelsea selling him at any price, he would fit our system so so well. Only going to get better, has amazing strength and pace, the delivery he would get from our midfield would mean he'd be better than ade was in his old arsenal days.

If there is any sort of deal Levy can negotiate, I hope he does it. But like I say I can't see it happening, especialy with the added factor that he doesn't like AVB!

Lukaku in a few years will be up there with Aguero and Co. in terms of the best strikers in the world. £8 million will look like a steal and he will go onto to surpass Drogba at Chelsea as one of the worlds best strikers. Hate to say it, but Chelsea's youth quality is frightening with Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Lukaku, Chalobah, Courtois and Moses all under 25 years old. In a few years (2014/15) I see us and them being UK top teams (Arsenal are nothing, City are crippled by FFP and United will suffer once whiskynose leaves).

Absolutely agree with this. Lukaku is a fast, powerful young striker who has so much potential. He's only 19. I don't think that Chelsea will do what's best for him to be honest.

Get him Levy!

Ditto agree Lukaku would be great!

Even if we are not able to get him specifically it is clear to everyone exactly the sort of forward that we need.

The frightening pace that we have forces teams to sit deep and defend against us - we just need a big guy in the box to start converting our dominance and possession into goals.

Absoultly 0% chance your get our lukaku! hates avb for a start and we paid a fair amount for him so would want to make a profit on the 18mill we spent on him so I doubt your spend over 20million for him

How can people didagree with wot I said! so do u honestly think u could get him from us!

I don't think so no, maybe a £25 million bid might interest Roman, but Levy wouldn't do that, and I don't think Lukaku would want to come.

That being said, when he goes back to Chelsea after his loan, he will be wanting to start games. That simply won't happen all the time so he may get restless and we could pounce. AVB is clearly a fan of him, moreso now than ever I would imagine and if the issues there could be reconciled who knows! Still, it remains a dream at the moment

i wish you lot would give siggs a chance.
hes come to a new club, bigger than he's been at before.
hes hardly played which can't have helped his confidence.
yet he almost won us the points away when he hit the bar, at home[stoke?] when his last minute header was saved brilliantly and at home [cant remember who] when his late shot was again brilliantly saved.
whats the chances he scores one soon and wins the points.
then youll all be singing his praises!
i for one will be backing him as last scorer in the next few games.

should have signed a striker instead. wasting 8 mill on sig

So, siggs comes on with us losing 2-1 and within a couple of minutes hits the post.
spammers keeper saves another his efforts, then she scores to equalise.

linked up play well, was a threat down the left side and contributed to the fight back.
i tell you, he will be decent player for us.

Very impressed wit holtby so far, u can see a touch of VDV in him. Fantastic attitude & a born winner if Ade had half as much fight he might actually score or contribute for the team.
