Hold on guys, whenever we go to OT we NEVER get a result so when we go there with a weakened squad everyone is shocked when we get done? I'm not bothered with the utd game, they won the league last year and spent over 50 mill since, it was on the cards. I have high hopes for us this year regardless of the utd result.

Glad to see someone optimistic...
However weakened squad all we really are missing is sandro ... Modric if he remains , and hudd at full fitness ... That's not much of a weakened squad ....
And really even with a weaker squad shouldn't we have had a better result against a very youthful side ... ?

However I still like the optimism and hope you are correct ..

Agree0 Disagree0

You should alway's be bothered about the result of any game OH there the champion's and we never get a result there anyway not bothered wrong atittude to have Dufus

Believable1 Unbelievable2

U believe in harry, plays to the camera, plays sick players, no play b c or d. roll on the time he is england manager. bring poyet in as manager, then we would c style flair and players playing for the shirt

Agree1 Disagree0

There's a manager out there who's out of work proven track record and who would be able to lure players to play for us and his name is Luiz Van Gal

Spurs are having difficulty securing the quality players they are after and are set to announce an open scouting session to take place at the training ground in 2 weeks time.

Fans (who also have proof that they play in regular league football, (this is key)) will have the opportunity to register on the site to take part.
The scouts will arrange 45 minute training matches to look at some of the players, any which they feel are talented may be offered a trial at the club.

This is unprecidented in premier league football

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can't belive that it has come to this?
What has our club turned in to?

Spurrer

Agree0 Disagree0

Well this won't be any good, we won't have Arsenals scouts to steal all our targets from

I met Gareth Bale's uncle the other day and we had a chat about Spurs and how Gareth was doing. Well he dropped me a bit of a bombshell. Basically he was saying that moral in the Spurs camp is very low at the moment and a few of higher profile stars including Gareth are wanting out and hoping bigger clubs come in for them.
I felt a bit deflated after that chat and thought i'd post it today.

I reckon we definately need to be looking at bringing in a replacement for Modric. Even if he is not sold we need the insurance policy of having someone who can fill in there if Luka isnt going to play well. Also does anyone know what the hold up is on the Diarra and Adebayor deals (Ed)?

Well, what did you all expect? All the "well its looking good chaps" horsesh*t i read from the deluded who actually believed that, because we turned over a p*ss poor Scottish side, we were cooking with gas.................
The reality check? Too many mediocre squad players, Defoe, as ive said time and time again isnt good enough, did he look like he could lead the front line tonight? Duh
Bale was piss poor, Dawson average, Nico wasnt good enough to wear one of Modrics boots let alone the pair and, like last season, we lack movement against the best teams , unfortunately we dont play Hearts everyweek and, i dunno, i give up.
Lennon is still hit and miss and we continually lack a manager that has any real tactical ability and, and, and.....f*ck it, why do i bother?
Super Yod
PS: and the firs c*cksparrer that is stupid enough to take the bait from the Chelscum poster will get rodded by a broom handle. -

Completely disagree with your evaluation of
Niko .... Did well for us give him a bit of time in that position and he will adapt I think
Wowed how our best players where new or haven't been used much ... Lately at least
Livermore , kranjcar , freidel * was a beast * walker was ok ...
We lost it at the back .... We need king or Gallas back from injury to clip Dawson round the ear
But tonight is showing the main problem we have is strikers....

But still quite shocked with the niko remark

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can you be shocked by it? Niko was truly awful at times last night. In the first twenty minutes he gave the ball away non stop and showed no quality.

I wonder what game was being watched? Nico wasnt up to it FACT. Yes, he passes the ball around beautifully at times and he is a very skillful player BUT he didnt take the game by the scruff of the neck. How much time does he need? Its not like we have only just signed him, is it Last night was his chance to show the club and its supporters that he could step up and fill the boots of Modric and save the club £30 million, he failed. Last night demonstrated that players like Defoe cannot lead the line, not strong enough, not good enough. Lennon? Sometimes brilliant, generally average with very poor delivery. Yes, I conceed that we were missing players, Sandro was badly missed but, dear God, poor old VDV was all over the place trying to make things happen and was clearly frustrated Bale? He will come good, they put 2 men on him last night, he will have to accept that as a norm now but he is good enough to still deliver and, besides, two men on him creates more space for us. im hoping that it was a kick up the arse for levy and he will be making things happen in the next week.
Im not holding my breath tho....

Ive been reading this page since i first came across it in the Jan window. I have come to the conclusion that we are a deluded bunch of fans at Spurs and we need to realise we will never compete with the big boys as long as we have Levy and his rigid pay structure. Dont get me wrong I love spurs and always will but we aint cutting the mustard

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I realy think of this mean now guys come one being ambitious is different then a fool

we play in europa , our highest pay is 70-80 k per ,(thats ridicules ..i herd jovanovic from pool was on 100k per week now thats ridicules too )

our ground, structure, money , manager are not good enough to attract mata, aguero, rossi, hulk no way guys but dont know how we keep on dreaming abt these stars?

Well boys , are we ready for it . By the end of next week , still in the mickey mouse cup , bottom of table with no points , stuck with a load of dead wood we cant shift , no new CB , No new strikers , lots of money sat in bank , large bill from solicitors for work done trying to steal ground from West Ham that the supporters didnt even want Looks like its going to be a good season again
Ps ; Daniel and Harry , Grow some balls and Why not play ferrett face against Hearts so he is cup tied , then make the little runt play with the reserves until Xmas to see if his attitude changes . If it doesnt then make him play with reserves for the rest of the season

So harry wants characters in other words he wants to get as many England internationals so when he becomes manager of national team they'll be playing first team football in pl,
We do need experienced leaders but not s**tehawks parker Cole etc here's some players with real knowhow 1 seydou keita barca, 2 Diego millito inter, 3 bruno Alves zenith , add in some new young blood like Abel hernandez & Alan dzagoev along with new keeper Tim weise or rene adler would turn us into title contenders but It's a bit late in summer now,
We've missed the boat & my emotions are sinking.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

As Arry said , we were right in it until Utd scored the first goal Der , bit bloody obvious isnt it Then we ended up with donkey Corluka at right back , ( wow hes quick ) , One of Arrys crap pets at centre half , ( all the way from pompey ) and the galloping sausage up front Lets get real people . Arry even admitted he knows the problem , WE cant score goals , We cant change tactics because he doesnt know how too . What the hell happened with Modric ? Arry said he is not right in the head , who is the bloody manager ? Surely you dont ask the players to play , you tell them . People are moaning about Modric and his attitude , well what about Arry and his inability to deal with the upset in the dressing room . What about our inability to get our youngsters ( not ex pets ) , playing like other clubs do instead of vloaning them out all the time What about the inability to clear the decks of our dead wood ?? There seems to be a lot of problems at the club that it would be nice to get answers to .

We had to end up with Charlie at right back because walker was so massively out of his depth And kaboul was one of our best players. There is this awful mental barricade at times, where we think 'it's old Trafford, we can't win' and we won't get in any decent transfers or anyone we need When everyone is getting better around us (except the scum) we need to step up with them. But no, destined for an awful season, we'll finish 7th

Agree1 Disagree0

Tim Wiese seen him at Ibrox a couple of seasons ago, another Gomes in the making If it's a decent young keeper your looking for then look no further than Akinfeev

Agree0 Disagree1

All keepers have a dodgy game now & again I've seen akinfeev have loads would be disaster in England, weise is a really good keeper

How crap is Lennon He is fast but has
no football brain and not a team player.
And Bale should have sold him for 40
million when we had the chance.
United looked hungry and played as a
team we were 11 individuals. steveo

What drugs are you on? We played great, the only problem is we cannot scoreand Man u can

He is on drugs? What are you on? Ovaltine?
What part of it all didnt you get? We got rodded by a side that had players barely off of their mothers t*ts playing for them So we played great, so what? we didnt get a result, nil points for the pleasure of playing pretty patterns around the pitch but still getting overrun by rugrats. Blackpool played great football last season, everybody loved them and they went down. May i suggest that its slightly more complicated than the fact we cannot score? Maybe it has something to do with not being able to stop other teams scoring? Poor final balls a midfield that gets overrun too easily and a manager that cannot change tactics and formations during matches.
last season we lost too many games to average sides and didnt get enough points off of the top teams. Unless we secure the services of a few select top notch players, the same will happen this season too. Pull the p*ss out of the Gooners? Not when we play like that we cant

In Harry's own words, there was nothing between the teams until the Wellbeck goal. No, but we never score enough goals anymore and haven't for a very long time so... SIGN A QUALITY STRIKER (or even two) or nothing will change all season.

Lads I'm a United fan. 3-0 was a bit harsh in the end. Yous bossed the midfield for the first half and Friedel made a few great saves. A top drawer striker and a good central mid and yous will be fine this season. Chin up lads

Mumbles

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Tell us something we dont know
we will be fine this season,of that i have no doubt.
kranjcar is not good enough to boss central midfield against top sides and defoe cannot lead the line, which has always been especially evident away from home.hes not even good enough at home
this was obvious before tonight, and simply highlighted at old trafford.
van der vaart needed his own ball at times tonight and even daws seemed a little lost tonight?

as for modric, sell him to the rich russian side, after fining him the maximum possible.meanwhile, make him train with the academy whilst hes waiting for his flight to the north of moscow .
