Good positive performance like my old spurs easy on the eye good tempo and a few dodgy moments + 3 pts appy daze it ain't rocket science play players in there correct positions and go for it home and away does this show how bad avb was or how good our Timmy lad is admittedly its one game and hindsight is a wonderful thing

I think it shows the formation that avb played didn't suit our squad.
It also shows just how stubborn he was when not picking players he 'didn't get on with'.
I personally think any manager could see which formation suits us. Sherwood is just proving it now. I think it will show any potential manager, Sherwood included, just how we need to be set up. I think levy wants a 'name' in our hot seat. That's why I can't see Sherwood as our long term manager. My opinion only.
As well as bentaleb played, I still have a feeling that Sherwood was treating it as a 'job interview'.
It was a big risk. Cappoue should of been straight on for dembele.
Was he trying to secure his future for risk of the result?
It was a big risk in my opinion. I was very shocked when Sherwood made that change. It came off. Was he lucky or inspired? Only time will tell if he is just trying to be totally opposite to avb or if he really our future.

There was nothing lucky about that substitution, he knows clearly knows/rates the lad and threw him on. let's be honest he looked like he had been playing in the first team for years so an inspired and calculated substitution for me!
My opinion is give Tim the job until the end of the season, it would seem any manager we would consider is currently tied up until the summer so makes sense to let Tim run with the side until then
Sherwood showed a lot of balls bringing him on instead of Capoue, Holtby. I like his (Sherwood) style.
