To whoever replied to the scouse colnel kay at 22.02 yesterday, that was pure magic mate. Easily the funniest post i have seen in a long time. The last line about torres leaving just summed up the hypocrsy of their rant.
I look forward to your next post whoever you are, maybe leave a name for reference.

Dearest Lieutenant Colonel Kay
Your messages of support are most wholly welcomed at this completely normal time. We appreciate that there will be a torrent of concerned fans from former great clubs like Liverpool, Blackpool, Preston North End and the Royal Engineers, all desperately watching the death throes of their own club's stature and clout in the footballing world.

We sympathise with your traumas and the painful realisation that who you support, the very team that defines you and for years gave literally unwarranted respect to your ridiculously high pitched scouse voice, is no longer at the biggest table. We feel for you Liverpool fans, because although you have fallen from previous heights there is still so much further to go. However, we have no doubts that with an injection of new ideas, a continued application of your North-South inferiority complex and a Spitting Image puppet, sorry, I mean Kenny Dalglish in control, the spiral downwards will continue unbridled.

Whilst your comments today are of course trivial, banal, predictable, uninspiring and clearly slurred through excessive social and environmental scouse interractions, they are by no means unwelcome.

Please continue to piss over our side of the fence whilst your own merseyside terraced, pigeon collecting hovel burns down around you. Yes you, illiterate Mr Kay, wakey wakey. . yes, you sold Torres to a bigger club, please wake up now. . .

I think Eto'o looks the best he would work perfectly with VDV and the two quick wingers just one problem though i can't see us signing any of these atm.

from what ive heard from Spurs fans, Newspapers and Radio stations that Joe Lewis isn't willing to invest anymore into the club. It looks as though the club will be sold in the next season or two so that's why im concerned about this season as if we do really poorly like mid table or Uefa cup again we could be losing a lot of our players.

we can't afford anyone at the moment and i know you lot will disagree with me but we put in a £9m bid for Hernandez of Parlemo who is a £18-25m player and that became our final bid as if we hoped we would get him, we also turned down Suarez last season because Harry said ''He isn't good enough''. Harry was lying we just couldn't afford him.

You lot will be saying now hold on this is a load of rubbish we tried to sign Agureo last Jan for £35m. Levy did it as a publicity stunt to try and convince the fans that we still have money. we knew it would be rejected as his buy-out clause was £10m more than that.

Don't blame Levy or Harry they can't do anything about it. Joe Lewis on the other hand is a money grabbing B*****d and is looking to profit from the club when he bought it in 2004. He owns way more than Spurs and could put 100's of millions in the club for a season but no he wants to sell us.

you may be think hooray UAE Billions but trust me on this the Pompey and Leeds Owners did exactly the same thing thinking we could make a profit because we have been successful they ended up selling to people who had monumental debts who think that they could get a big profit from owning a big club on the up but misjudging it Pompy, Fa Cup winners and contenders for europe, Leeds, in the Champions League consistently, now look where they are.

that's why i don't think we signed any of those at this point in time and that's why im worrying for our club.

I got this ''rubbish'' from what I know and what ive been told from spurs shareholders and spurs fans that i know.

Joe Lewis isn't a Spurs fan he's just there to make a profit. He bought a softball team in the Bahamas and is paying 100's of millions on a new stadium.

i dunno why our stadium isn't going anywhere at the moment. I don't know what we are waiting for we lost the Olympic Stadium months ago.

The Olympic Committee are totaly against are bid and we arn't going to get it even if West Ham pull out

Azza mate i know your a great Spurs fan and i would really like your opinion on this cause this i have been told by shareholders and fans

I have family in the Bahamas and I have just returned from a holiday there, and Joe Lewis is not spending millions on a softball stadium! As the Bahamas is a collection of 700 small islands, how is he going to fill this multi million pound investment?!

There is no way on god's green earth that someone is spending "100's of millions" on a softball stadium in the Bahamas you total clown.

Lewis spends most of his cash on healthcare projects as these days he is more interested in philanthropic pursuits. Even the quickest internet search would confirm this numbnuts.

Sorry COYS, i told Ed not to post anything that didn't have my email in it. I think Supier yod summed it up really in his post.

'This is a metaphor to explain to you that just because a Billionaire doesn't act like a schoolkid in the playground with a loaded gun (or in this case a giant vulgar wad of cash), he isn't necessarily a tight Billionaire'

Theres nothing i can say about the joe lewis situation because i don't know if its true. I have never heard or read anything that he has given up and is not willing to invest anymore.

I completely disagree with putting on an act to Bid for players knowing its going to be rejected. We do have money mate. The only reason we haven't invested in our squad yet because of the obvious reason, our squad is to large, therefore have to sell before we buy.

If however what your saying is true then of course we have to be sure that before we sell, its to the right people who are maybe spurs fans and are willing to invests millions in us. we can't go down the same road as pompy. I don't like the thought of this.

I for sure think modric should stay and begin building a team for the sutured to compete for the top 4 of each season. But I do feel if we do let him go, maybe to Manchester united and ask for Rafael and fabio in part of the exchange.

Adebayor being linked with the club I think he's a great striker and would link up well with Lennon, VDV and Bale.
With his history with Arsenal click believable if you would like him in a Spurs shirt or click unbelievable if you don't want players like him to come to Spurs!

Ed, do we need rodwell. I think it is a waste of money for a mid which we don't need {Ed001's Note - personally I don't see a need for him at Spurs, unless it is to cover centre back as well.}
