{Editor Note: Bigger club? No. Better fans? No. Bigger stadium? No. Bigger fanbase? No. Better history? No. Bigger reputation? No. Champions League football? Yes, for the time being.}

nice to see you have something to dream with ed , you really do make it easy to see why scousers talk bollox, better fans dream on causing trouble then yea, bigger stadium? s* t stadium, bigger fan base? on a par don't forget most of your african gear has just been returned its now ours in the shops! bigger reputation? as if dear boy as if, history? no one comes close to ours not even your beloved rivals manure! yea you won more! but in a hundred or two hundred years you lot may have still won nothing and every one else has overtaken you in the trophy stakes but people will still ask and it will still be printed who the 1st were, now that's frikin history fella {ed's note - you Spurs fans talk some rubbish, but this is quite simply laughable. Thank you, this cheered me up after a long day!}

Haha editor that post is hilarious!
Im a spurs fan all my life.
but we aren't a bigger club than liverpool and it will take us a Long long time to become a bigger club even man utd aren't bigger than liverpool holloway says so :)
Spurs we MUST take all the chances we get now!
we are on the up we need to spend like crazy in my opinion and sign everyone we can.

{Editor Note: I personally think Man Utd are currently a bigger club than Liverpool. But in England we second them.}

Luka, you make some valid points mate. Tbh iv never seen any plans for the olympic site and wouldn't look at them anyway. Iv seen the ndp plans in tottenham and the stadium looked breathtaking espcially with the kop like end. The original ndp plans havent escalated at all that's just an excuse cos a cheaper alternative arosed in stratford. Yes i want to see top players but we are already getting them now and the ndp is plenty enough. I will protest till i drop and although i respect levy he is deluded and mad if he thinks he would get away with it. Hopefully w.ham will be given it and we shall build in tottenham and you watch the cost not be as much as they are saying, that's a cover up and lie! spurs guvnor

Spurs Guvnor,

To be entirely honest, i would not want to see Tottenham Hotspur move away from White Hart Lane, because I to have grown up there.
If this makes any sense, i am against the maneuver but will not stand in the way if Daniel Levy wants to proceed with the Olympic Stadium because know it will only be in the best interest for the Club.
Daniel Levy will not want to do anything that will jeepardize Spurs.
Currently we have 25,000 plus on a waiting list for a season ticket with many more people wanting a season ticket whom are not yet on that list.
Now imagine one day we start winning major honours, signing some of the worlds best players, the want for season tickets will expand rapidly. Do you think a stadium of 55,000 capacity would be big enough? Camp Nou has a capacity of 100,000, madrid 90,000 etc.
Now take this into account, Arsenal's stadium produce a hell of alot of money, They have a capacity of 60,000 with 50 executive boxes! imagine having a stadium of 70,000 with 100 executive boxes, furthermore with the opportunity to expand greatly. Parking and Traveling would not at all be an issue, imagine the incredible amount of income that stadium can generate. If one day the likes of ronaldo and messi want a new experience and become available, without a shadow of a doubt we would be able to compete for them in both the market and wage market With the likes of utd, city and chelsea, Whereas now we would be ruled out immediately.
Levy is not looking 5 years from now, hes looking 20/30 years from now and the benefits for the future of our club.
Although i have jotted down a essay it was purely to consider that option and the slight advantages that come along with it.
If Daniel Levy does get the green light to go along with the new stadium then i would back it 100% because like i have previously stated its where i have grown up and do not want to see us move from home.
the designs are phenomenal and income can be generated not just from the stadium but from the hotel and apartments around it that they are to build!
Levy is superior at what he does, a neat business man who like harry redknapp has a few tricks up his sleeve. If in an agreement Levy and Co negotiated in a way in several years after the stadium is built to have the option to transform it into a 65/70,000 seater by temporarily removing the roof and building on top then that would be absolutly incredible! because a 70,000 seater is possible its just the council who are adamant to try f* k US UP long out every possible situation. Well know this, if Levy does not get his way it will be the council who will loose MILLIONS. So the balls in our court! Comon Levy negotiate our future well. YID TILL I DIE

Luka, do you really want tottenham to move from tottenham to stratford for the sake of 6,000, 7,000 difference in capacity? Being from tottenham i dont! I know it will save us some money too but come on lets not be silly and move from our home.
I do not see bale as cover for ekottu at all, i think taiwo would be an excellent signing as would the croatian lad vrsaljo. Tbh im more concerned about our strikers, they are not good enough and will, already are, costing us points. Suarez or and huj would do me.

Ed, 19th jan 00.21.56, ed says about tottenham 'better fans no, better stadium no' etc etc. I the only other team i wound up for obvious reasons was arsenal yet posters like sir bob and others kept slating spurs so i will stick up for them. I aint bitter trust me, why would i be history is history and im more concerned about today and tottenham are in a far better position than liverpool which is why people like bob find it hard.You want embarrassing posts then go to the liverpool site, not everyone, its hilarious. I didn't have a problem with liverpool before and btw my missus is a scouser and red! spurs guvnor

Ed, the liverpool one lastnight, i agree liverpool have won alot but like i said most of it was between mid1970s n late 1980s. You say you have better fans, tell me how or why? Your stadium is an old fashioned one like ours with 8,000 more capacity, big deal. Most of your fans are welsh, irish or from singapore how does that make you better?! Yes you have won more, have better tracksuits n perms but tottenham have better team! We also get treated to entertaining football and not robotic defensive boring cr@p. If you want to talk history tottenham have plenty too. You always slate spurs fans yet your lot are the most deluded by a mile, why, cos you won't let go of the 1980s! spurs guvnor {ed's note - I never said anything about better fans, only idiots try to claim their fans are better than anyone else's. All fans are just people and like all people there are different kinds. As for the rubbish about where most of Liverpool's fans are from, that is the talk of a bitter man who knows nothing about Liverpool whatsoever. Why do you continually try and attack other clubs? What is with this bitterness you have? Just enjoy your time in the sun and stop spoiling it and turning other team's fans against you! It is embarrassing watching this sudden surge in Spurs fans going on pages and attacking others while none were using this site to talk about their own club. It is so petty-minded. Just be glad that your club is on the up and in the Champions League and make the most of it.}

Ed. You say Lennon is worth a 3rd of that. So you reckon 8 million? A young quick English international. Get real. {ed's note - it was his opinion, though I do disagree myself basing it on Bent's price, which has to be baseline right now.}

Ed let me tell you something about spurs fans. We do not compare ACIENT history with other clubs.
in 2 years time if liverpool havent broken into the top 4 there wil be big trouble. what player would want to join them if there not even reaching top 7 let alone top 4. there attendance would drop, no major players as the likes of torres would want to sign for the club. how would they even be able to hold on to there big stars when there will be hardly no income coming in.

boys what do you think of the whole stadium saga?
heres my verdict.
soon come we will have a top stadium, one of the best in the world which is why this whole situation is dragging on becuase daniel levy is a clever man and wants to do whats best for the club. if levy says we need to move to the olypic stadium, its not because hes selfish and thinking of him self its because he knows it will be best for the club. the amount of money that stadium can generate is massive, what if 1 day we do start winning premierleagues and getting into championsleague finals do you think 55,000 is big enough? when we were s* t we filled our stadium weak in weak out with no problems, So imagine when were winning things. the waiting list for a season ticket is 25,000, our current capacity is 35,000 so in my opinion 55,000is not big enough. if levy somehow negotiates in a way we can build a 62000 seater with the possibility in the future to take off the roof and expand even more then it would be ideal. saying all this im not with a move out of white hart lane but then again im not against it because levy is a tottenham fan and he knows whats best for spurs and our future!

LUKA {ed's note - c'mon mate, Leeds have shown that big clubs keep their attendances up even if they do get relegated. Liverpool have a season ticket waiting list of over 100,000 people, there will be no problem filling the stadium. I do agree relegation will affect the chances of getting the best players, but, so long as Liverpool is in the Prem, that will never be a problem.}

Id pay £24 mil for lennon. on his day his pace is irriplaceable. and the fans love to watch him. no suprises your not a fan ed. more of a walcott fan eh? {ed's note - two totally different players, Lennon has shown massive improvement in his weakest area - crossing - but it does still let him down. If he can continue to improve that he will be a fantastic player. I know he is a bit lightweight and weak defensively but I personally don't see that as a problem for a winger, they do their defensive work by forcing the full back they face to stay back. He does that well because he has too much pace to take chances with as no one is going to be able to catch him if he is past them! If Bent is worth 24m, then he is worth at least that in my opinion.}

Lmfao, ed you gotta admit that last post on here was blinding! I don't know what he meant by african gear do you? He did make some valid points though and whichever ed wrote the better fans etc etc is deluded. Lets get one thing clear, all liverpools sucess is squeezed into the 1970s n 80s with a flukey cl sucess not long ago. Spurs might not of won as much but have been set many records and firsts and have had manx better players than any other team, easily. Who cares about the stadium but if you wait few years spurs will have best stadium in world. Liverpool fans are easily the most deluded going, just read there rumours n banter! spurs guvnor {ed's note - clearly you know nothing about a Liverpool side which won the league for the first time in the 1900-01 season and again in 1905-06 season. Also a couple of titles in the twenties and again just after the war as Liddellpool with the late, great Billy Liddell. Then there were titles in the 60s, 70s and complete domination in the 80s. You clearly do not know anything about Liverpool's history - it is incomparable in the English game, end of. The only thing Spurs fans do by trying to compare themselves is look silly. There is no comparison in historical terms.}
