------------------Vorm------------------
-------Caulker--Kaboul--Vertonghen-----
Walker---------------------------------Bale
-----------Sandro----Parker------------
----Remy--------------------Dembele----
----------------Adebayor------------------

Two interesting formations, if Modric is sold for around £25-30 million could fund the Huntelaar (17m), Remy (16m) and Dembele (10m) and Adebayor (?m) moves...

Would love dembele at the lane.

Arsenal have matched your bid now for Vertonghen, watch him move to the Emiraters now you sily spudds.

Believable1 Unbelievable10

Stupid gooner.
That made me laugh.
Already signed and sealed.
I heard you was trying to pinch Ryan nelson fom QPR.
Forget about vertonghen mate, future yod captain.
By the way, 'you matched our bid', good, ours hadn't been accepted so neither would yours.
Moron

Agree4 Disagree0

Silly Gooners he's already stated hes only interested in spurs or staying at Ajax

Agree2 Disagree0

So, if your bid wasn't excepted, how is it a done deal?

Ted

Agree2 Disagree0

Often critical about Chelsea and wh signs the players but without a manager whose signing is Vertonghen? Bear in mind you cant sign him before 1 July

Agree1 Disagree0

Cos he as already said that spurs are the only team he will join.
You need to worry about your own players pal, no RVP, no Walcott.
Suppose you will give them both to your feeder club man city

Agree1 Disagree0

Why does he want to go to a team going backwards.
All their players leaving. An ignorant manager. A deathly quiet stadium.
Bet he can't wait to sign for you

Agree1 Disagree0

He doesnt want to join you arsenal.... Get over it ... And get over yourselves .... Your starting to piss me off worse than Chelsea fans .... And that's saying a lot

Agree1 Disagree0

SSN says vert is coming for the club not the manager. Jealous goon lol nice try enjoy podOLDski being injured and watching rvp playing elsewhere :)

steed

Agree0 Disagree0

Old?? He has just turned 27 you moron!

Agree0 Disagree0

And you sound like you have just reached puberty. Shouldn't you be at school.
Define 'moron' to us!
It means 'a stupid or foolish person'
In short, an arsenal fan.

Agree1 Disagree0

He may of only just turned 27, but he is still gonna be sh.t.....anyway.....if he is any good, you will only feed him to man city like you do with most of your half decent players

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit touchy ain't he, 'moron' he says.
, you south London boys make me laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is it every conversation you have you have to bring chelsea in to it it makes me laugh get over it already . hope you do get avb i think you will give him a decent chance he wasnt all bad he had some good ideas

ktbffh

Agree0 Disagree0

I was the one who stated 'moron'.

I am neither an Arsenal or Spurs fan but it is just ridiculous how Spurs are calling Lukas Podolski rubbish when he is the youngest European player to reach 100 caps, scored yet again and known as one of the most prolific attacking players in Europe.

Spurs fans are better than that so give up. You both have fantastic teams and I think it is credit to London that two of Europe's best teams are represented there (Yes, I am not including anti-football Chelsea).

Agree0 Disagree0

You are either German, or his agent.
If he was that good, why wasn't anyone else in for him.
The way he rolls around when tackled is very annoying. Yes bale falls into that category too.
The less I see a johnny foreigner rolling around, the better. I don't rate him one bit, but that just my personal opinion, as is yours and everyone else's on here.
So the less 'moron' comments, the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

The thing about podolski is he's been around for years, and whether through injury or poor form he's never quite been as good as he should have been (or was meant to be).

There are things I like about him (eg powerful shot) but every time he starts to look like a player he get injured again.

In a way (although totaly different types of player) he's a bit like owen, a potentially world class player ruined by persistent injury.

My point is that if rvp leaves and he's the replacement, you lot are in trouble.

steed

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like they have agreed to sign giroud.
I think we might now be in trouble.
We have to get moving and NOW levy

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't forget lads RVP has injury problems too. This is his first full season in 6/7 years

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you so sure you are buying vertongen he has said he wants to come to spurs ,it seems maybe your magician levy aint so keen then again he pulled out a great rabbit out of the hat the last transfer window with saha and nelson, everyone says they were harrys choices but i think you will find thats all levy would allow.you will never be a big club!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

That's all Levy would allow? Well yes!
Levy obviously knew he was going to sack Rednapp so why would you give him a transfer kitty to spend on players a new manager might not want?

Gooners must all wear glasses as it seems that all their views and opinions are so short sighted that they only see what's in front of them and nothing further away.

Agree0 Disagree0

If hed bought better you may have got the champions league place, his master plan will result in your teams spine being obliterated not a great idea when you are building a team/

Agree0 Disagree0

You say you hate the way podolski rolls around when tackled doesn't that suit the goons i heard there offering pires a coaching roll teaching there youngsters to act like girls

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think po DOH ski will be an immediate failure and the transfer to the Goons will ruin his career.

Correct me if Im wrong but sincd Santini was appointed Levy has had the replacement manager in straight away. This makes me think that whoever is being lined up has already accepted the job but is currently working at the euros and doesnt want it to be confirmed until the tournament is finished. I backed Laurent Blanc yesterday at 25/1 and hes now down to 6/1. Also his contract expires after the tournament so no compensation due. What do you think ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would love this to happen, but as a realistic spurs fan I can't see it happening

Ok not a party to the finer points of 'Arrys departure. And found it strange. But will find it stranger of Levy and Spurs if you overlook Moyes. He may not work within a continental structure, but he's Top drawer.Different, and PROVEN class to other candidates apparently in frame.Pk he appeared to pledge his future to eFC.I feel with control and a real decent budget he'd go to Spurs. You really would be missing a trick there.A neutral but intersted fan

Read this article on how the no good gooners bribed the FA to create there history of never getting relegated seems that they are still not to be trusted with the truth.
1919:
Get Spurs relegated and Arsenal promoted from 6th position -
In 1915, when Football ended because of World War One, Chelsea and Spurs had finished bottom of the first division and Arsenal were sixth in Division two. The League planned to expand the first division by two clubs and precedent dictated that the two bottom clubs would stay up and the top two in the second division would join them. Sir Henry had other ideas. To this day the details of exactly what occurred at the league's meeting in March 1919 remains a mystery, but by the end of the day, Arsenal had been voted into the first division and Spurs voted out.
Arsenal have never been out of the top flight since.
Why don't they come out and admit what happened.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Sorry mate. Why you digging this up. Gives gooners reason to ridicule us over past history.
It sounded like a story a gooner or chavski fan would dig up over us. Let's just concentrate on now.
We are closer to them than for a long time.
Bring on next season I say.

Agree0 Disagree2

The Fa knew the differnece between quality and crap so decided to put the crap together like they did with Alcatraz so you got relegated to the old second division.
Anyway you been relegated many times since so get over it.

Agree1 Disagree2

Yeah okay, so we came above you again this year, stop using conspiracy theories to make yourself feel better.

Ted

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah at the end of the day though arsenal had to be "voted" in and couldn't get there on their own merits

How about Laurent Blanc as our new manager? just a thought..what do you recon boys??

Believable3 Unbelievable2

I'm excited about the possibility of AVB.
Just something about it all that I'm welcome too but blanc, no that is something else.
Would love to see that.
He has prem experience, exudes confidence and, in my opinion, would attract. Variety of world class players.
If, by next week, we haven't got s new manager, then I see him as the firm fav for the job.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why all of a sudden Blanc becuse you've seen him on Tele recently, Have you seen the glasses he wears.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not get Gary Linekar in?? He seems to know everything and know exactly where every club goes wrong in every game and knows exactly what they should have done lol {Ed001's Note - amazing when he admits to not even watching games these days!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed it was a sarcastic comment and was referring to his know it all reviews in MOTD {Ed001's Note - I know, I was agreeing with you, he doesn't even watch the games but tries to pass comment. Annoys me no end.}

foxspur

Believable0 Unbelievable2

If you read jan ventogen still wants to join he says hes sorry harry left but wants to play for thfc. these are the sort of signings we need to play for the shirt and not just the manager

Agree1 Disagree0

Keeper i would like -Lloris or Vorm. I don't see the need in another defensive mid. We have Parker, Sandro, Livermore and huddlestone who can all play there? I would like Luuk De Jong but not Ola i want Leandro Damioa.

Spurs Lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Khedira isn't, he's first choice in madrid

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather someone like Sahin than Khedira, we have enough defensive mids as it is.

James_THFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Damiao has already state that he's refused spurs' offer and that he wants to stay where he is. Personally I just think he doesn't have the balls to say "sorry no CL then I'm not interested".

Personally I would like to see VDV play in the Modders role as a playmaker and bring in two strong strikers.

Failing that Remy and maybe contact man u about Hernandez or park?

Can I just PLEASE ! beg all of you to just get behind the team and the new manager whoever it is for all our sakes. The Media who all hate Spurs to a man and delight in the slightest trouble at Spurs because they don't want us to break the cartel. Do you all treallyu want to repeat at WHL what has just happened at Villa ? Arry is gone, its a new dawn a new era. All our star players are under contract and I do not believe Daniel Levy will allow any player to dictate to him. He will only allow the likes of Modric and bale to go anywhere if the price suits the club and lest we forget we are not Man U with their resources. If he sells to a rich Arab then appy days but I do not believe that is to happen yet. So if its AVB lets get behind him to a man. He had a tough ask at Chelski where the senior players have Ambramovich's ear. Levy must back him to the hilt. He might just be the one to inspire a crop of talented young players AND he can speak really good English. So lets all stop speculating and whining and just be positive. PLEASE ?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Couden't agree more. thfc not hrfc. so lets get behind the team whoever wears the shirt

It was always Joe Lewis intention to sell Tottenham one day. He has hardly spent a penny of his own money and that is why he employed Daniel Levy as he is soo good with economics. Lewis will definitely sell but imo that will be when the stadium is complete. Dont blame Levy for being tight its Joe Lewis. The last time we splashed out was because of a share issue made available and not Lewis coughing up.

as much as i liked harry and the proggression of the club since hes been here, can you trust him not to take bigger/higher paid job should one be offered. when he was convinced the england job was his he turned into a typical england manager (last 3 managers anyway) and started playing people out of position vdv on the right bale through middle he also sold/loaned all right backs when walker was injured or needed rest we had gallas/kaboul or even livermore 1 time playing right back im not sure about avb but assuming its true lets get behind him and give him a chance. dont get benitez during his time at liverpool he had a couple of world class players a handful of good players and a squad full of average players come on you spurs!
