Also recently bassong has expressed his desire to leave. as a player i do not rate him as highly as dawson and kaboul but what i do like about bassong is his personality and his desire to protect his team mates and coaching staff. . ie joe jordan against that dirt bag gattuso.

i agree with the fact we need a striker and possibly a goaly, but don't you think we also need a solid right back such as micah richards. lately after watching corluka play ive noticed that he tends to hoof the ball into no mans land time and time again. you never see him have the confidence to run with the ball when he has all the time and space in the world. he can hardly pick out a simple pass to.

hulk, falcao 40 million

van bommel, pato 60 million

Just ignore what a load of sports journo's try and sensationalise and read what Bale's said (and Modric for that matter) both signed new contracts and both are staying. Neither will be moving this summer CL qualification or not

i think it was yesterday in an interview bale has said he wants to show the fans his loyalty to the club. which is why he signed a new contract extention. he then went on to say he believe's if we all stick together, we can push on next season whether we finish in the top 4 or not.

It's unrealistic to think that Spurs are going to go out and spen £100m on players when major overhauls are not really required. We have built on last years excellent season by once again chalenging for 4th spot and making the quarter final of the champions league at the first attempt (which any real Spurs fan would have ripped their arm off for)
Its clear that some of the older gaurd and unwanted players need to leave which will generate both cash and wage bill space for the new players that arrive. Koval is an excellent young, higly regarded goalkeeper who will eventually challenge Gomes for the number 1 jersey. Taiwo is free and as good as Benoit and gives him some real challenge for the left back slot. Hulk is the goalscoring target man that Crouch fails to be, and a more realistic target than Llorente at bilboa.
With the promotion of some of the younger players like Caulker, Bostock, Rose and Andros Townsend it makes the squad manageable n terms of fulfilling the needs of the players getting some game time and allowing us to challenge for 4th spot again next season. It is not dependant on us finishing top 4 again this season(which I still think we will do)

everyones entitled to there opinion but you my friend are absolutely bonkers. no way in a million years would we spend that amount on players. using the funds from bentley, ohara, naughton, keane and woodgate.(approx 30 mill) plus maybe 40 is a little more realistic. .don't you think.
