I think all we need is to bring in a striker around 20millions worth (and dare i say it? i hope oracle is right about damiao) and to bring in holtby now. if we get those two i think we will easily qualify for CL. any news on strikers Ed? {Ed002's Note - I explained the situation previously.}

Forren is having a trial at Liverpool, hasnt signed yet for them but we don't need him anyway we have better in Caulker and Kaboul.
Sign him for 4.5m and sell dawson for 10m. Could be an upgrade, with some cash back. Thoughts?

Posted that sneijder would be a spurs player last week and I'll say the same again, sneijder to sign this week
Rufus
I've just read the same thing. As long as he doesn't act like a spoilt brat (like he has been in Italy) he will be a we quality signing.
Dave
To be fair, have read this evening, a supposed media company has said a 8million euro deal is in place. His agent tweeted that trying to get done by 31st and his preference is London not Liverpool or turkey.
Will believe it whn I see it though.
Must admit, when fit, he is an upgrade on vdv.
^^^
By the way, forgot to add, have suspended betting on a sneider move after tonight's tweets.
Where did you read that
derbyshire dave
Wesley sneijder would get us those lampard goals from midfield, something we've been missing for yearsssss. It could be another big hit like VDV if he plays for the love of football and us fans. He'll be loved like rafa if he makes a good contribution and shows the passion on derby days.
If this deal goes through and we also manage to sign a world class striker then hats off to our Levy.
.........
Bale, Sneijder, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon
Ekotto, Vertonghen, Caulker, Walker
Lloris
sounds frightening!
And just wait till we have Kaboul back........
Azza
Good team Azza, as long as Dawson doesnt get in ahead of Caulker, but who is playing CF ?
Davo
Davo, I left that blank because I wasn't sure who we are after. If the oracles right in damiao then that team would look fantastic.
Personally if wages wasn't an issue I wouldn't mind having a proven, experienced prem player in dzeko? Maybe city will kindly do another deal with us as they did with Ade & his wages.
What striker would you like to fill the gap?
Azza
Providing he can hit the net consistently, not fussy but really like the look of wilfried Boney ??
Davo
Hmmm not really seen much of him davi. Will look out though.

I know fellow spurs fans would like to shoot me but if Levy will not spend good money on a striker i would take Bent back from Villa on loan for the season maybe let The Hudd go the other way
We are going to need goals if we want top Four and Ady is not going to produce simple as, he is shocking now he has his contract!
Bent knows where the goal is and will score 6-8 goals between now an the end of the season
Just my opinion {Ed008's Note - I agree not a bad shout.
There's a reason we sold him. Not clinical enough. Not better then Defoe and is definately not the striker we need fella.
Azza
Look we learned our lesson last time. Bent can't work in rotation. He needs to be the starting striker with faith behind him and he'll put in 15-20 a season when on form. He won't get this here so I think we need to move along.
Royal Yid
Sorry Ed but we might just as well sign Sandra !
Davo {Ed008's Note - Sign them both up do a better job then Adebayor atm!

Ed008, what happened to my post about Aubameyang? It was shown on the rumours page last night then taken off today! Why?
spurs guvnor {Ed008's Note - I didn't post it last night but if it's been taken down it's due to negative responses only reason I can think of.
I worndered were it had gone lol were did you hear with have bid for him from think he would be a gd player for us.
Hay Ed,
Just a question for you fella - If posts are deleted due to negative responses, why am i still reading oracles nonsense ??
Flippit. {Ed001's Note - it depends on what kind of negative responses they attract.}
