Time to use our "special relationship" no not one sided Real Madrid one but Harry the transfer wheeler dealer, Remy obviously does not want to play for QPR throw in Kane and choice of Chadli/ Townsend/ Bentaleb/ Carrol/ Mason and that will be far too tempting for Harry and a nice little season loan for us

Remy seems keen to join spurs but as usual chelsea are going to take him off us I thought mouriniho said he has done his buisness weeks ago after spending massive again they can't bear any other clubs to sign anyone

Raver,
While mourinho said that weeks ago only recently did Drogba get injured for 1-2 months and he likes to have 3 strikers. Schurrle can cover but mouirinho may have other plans for him. So its not that "they can't bear any other clubs sign anyone"

I hope I'm not the only one thinking this, but it's a bloody relief that there has been no drama at White Hart lane this transfer window. at least so far anyway.
In last few years we've had so many stories hitting the back pages. the Berbatov, Modric and Bale sagas, Harry and the England job, Harry going to court, Harry then being sacked, AVB getting sacked.they've just been such a distraction.
I believe this summer because we've just sat back, signed a few decent players, and just got on with a pre-season without losing a game, I just have this good feeling we'll do better than what we're expecting.
Looking forward to seeing what Lamela and Soldado can REALLY do this season.

No drama - like us reportedly offering as many as 11 players available for sale at the right price? me thinks you should have waited a day or 2 :-)

Drama? The thought of us getting rid of up to 11 players excites me!
Would be more than happy to see Dawson, Naughton, Townsend, Kane, Carrol move on, would even let Lennon, Kaboul and Chadli go if the money was right.
I'm not saying they are all bad players but Kaboul is injury prone and when he does play he doesn't exactly fill you with confidence, Lennon is pretty decent until he hits the by line and his final ball is dot cotton! Townsend! Well let's just say "going for glory" has never been more apt, all for himself that boy and can't see that changing. Chadli only ever going to be a squad player and Dawson, Naughton,Kane in my opinion just aren't good enough.

Arry off again moaning about Spurs spending 30 mill on Lamela, has he looked at some of the over priced s**t he has brought in his time, not only for us but whilst at Pompey!!

Absolute nonsense Davo. Whilst I believe Lamela is a great signing that will come good this season, you are talking rubbish with regards to Harry's spending patterns.
Do some research and have a look for yourself.
Van Der Vaart for 8m, Kaboul for 5m, Sandro for 8m. Also Crouch cost 9m but was sold on for a profit at 10m as were VDV, Pienaar and Krancjar.
Pretty astute transfer dealings actually.

Was that Harry of Levy who was astute. ?

Ok so BAE, David Bentley, Darren bent, Louis Saha were wonderful signings were they. Not quite the saviour is he Hass?

Haha not quite Spursredeemer. However, am pretty sure BAE & Bent were purchased under Jol's tenure, and David Bentley under Ramos' tenure. Louis Saha was acquired whilst Harry was in charge but he was technically "free", and therefore hardly a "waste" of the clubs money. Again, do some research Spursredeemer.
Am not defending Harry by any means. I am merely drawing attention to the fact Davo's early point is objectively and factually wrong.

Redknapp said about Luis Suarez ' he is no better than what we already have' which at the time was Pavlyuchenko, Crouch and Defoe. That says it all.

How can you leave Ryan Nelson out of that list :)

Interesting question, Northeast. Arguably Harry, if you look at the club spending behaviour when he was in charge, compared to Ramos' short tenure.

Problem is Hass, I never said he never made some good buys, just he is so quick to open his mouth about someone else's bad buys! I am also pretty sure that he might like to take credit for most of the good buys in his time, but most of them had the Levy stamp all over them!

Levy signed van Der vart, Harry even said in the press he knew nothing about it!
